I can't get off of my computer!

What do you do if you cant stop watching MLP all day long? I tryed to sleep but my eyes wouldnt shut, I tried pills but all they made me do is make me want more. I tried blindfolding myself but my eyes just poped out. I need to get away from this computer for 10 minuents. But i cant leave MLP behind.... I need a solution,,, Mabey ill make a website... Or draw *Even though i suck* Or mabey ill just find a new addictoin. Anyone got any other idea's?

That sounds like a serious condition if you're taking pills to try and take yourself off of the computer. Go out with some friends? Watch TV? Draw? Go make yourself some food? Buy a pet? Go outside?

Now, even though you can never have too many ponies, it's just like alcohol. You have to intake it in certain increments in order to function normally. Otherwise, you cannot operate heavy machinery, get behind the wheel, or even walk right.

 

Nah, I'm playing. But seriously, just turn off your monitor, leave your room, then go find something that distracts you. Maybe watch television, go find something to do outside, fix up some food, draw, hang out with friends, etc. Find a hobby that you can enjoy and I'm sure you can get your butt outta that computer chair!

On an unrelated note, if you find you are unable to resist watching ponies, then i suggest turning your computer off. Turn it off and go do something else. Still want ponies? Then do as you say and draw. Although you may not be awesome now, you can certainly improve given time and patience. Just stay away from that computer. It's a gateway that will only lead to more ponies.

That should help. If not, getting a life or playing Battlefield usually helps. (Battlefield is usually the better choice then a *shutter* life).

What you really need to do is just to find another hobby, it being card games, sports, just at least one hobby that doesn't have to do with electricity. I would try that drawing you were talking about, that can take up HOURS.

 

But there is nothing wrong with a lot of ponies, you just need to know where to draw the line at from acceptable to over excessive.

If you can't get off the computer, and still want to chat on this forum, then use your phone instead, if you have internet on it. (Of course this isn't really any healthier than staying on your computer, but at least you won't be on your computer.)

 

Also, get a plushie of your favorite pony and sleep with it. This way you will know that a pony is always beside you. If you can't afford a plushie print a picture of ponies and place it on your ceiling at night, or beside your bed.

 

Turn of your computer or force someone to confiscate it for you. Then go watch MLP on T.V if its playing.

 

If you want to be able to get out of your house, go to a horse stable near by and ride an actual pony!

on a more serious note, find a good book. i can be absorbed in a good book for days. sometimes i don't touch any electronics for the entire day.
