S01:E23 - The Cutie Mark Chronicles

I loved this episode. There is something rather emotional about this episode to me. I think it is the fact that that the mane 6 all had a special role to play in the world and were united by Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom. I would have wanted to see more of an individual focus on each of their stories, rather than a fast paced slideshow of stories, so to speak. Of the stories if I could pick a favorite - it would probably be Fluttershy's. She was bullied by other foals, and then found her calling in life which was something completely different than her surroundings. I thought that Rarity's story was sort of weak.

I would have wanted to see more of Twilight's story, how the education board reacted to Celestia taking Twilight as her student. I would have thought that they would have all known about the Rainboom making them all get their cutie marks, though.

This episode's pretty good. I'm always down for some more back story, and to see how everything tie in together. The Mane Six discovering the Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom connected them all is really nice. Fated friendship and all that, right @Planeswalker Silky I like Rainbow Dash's race, lanky Fluttershy is very creepy to me, Rarity getting dragged by her horn was pretty funny, baby Spike was too cute, but not as cute as wittle baby Applejack

7.5/10, would watch again.
