It doesn't work that way for us. If you want the Pests to be cleared, then you need a lot of shops and a lot of ponies to get the shards for the appropriate color of the pests.

If it's for the app, you wanna check the app store for the update notes. if it's for the system, then it's not for the app.

Don't you guys wish they add more songs to the dance mini-games ? Maybe some songs from the MLP show rather than focusing on EG...

 

I mean, I'm getting pretty tired of playing the same 5 songs over and over again just to get more hearts.

I would think that unless the "content version" has changed then its just bug fixes.  It DOES badly need bug fixes.

 

I stopped playing the gem mine because it doesn't unlock the rewards for me and regularly crashes.

I stopped playing the Equestria Girls mini game because the notes constantly go out of sync with the music making it really hard to get the timing right.

 

This game has some SERIOUS frame-pacing issues, where it will be running smoothly and then suddenly seem to skip a frame then display the next one, followed by the previous one, causing horrible stuttering. I'm on the Galaxy Note 3 for crying out loud, its still one of the most powerful devices, this shouldn't happen.

 

I get the feeling this game is making very little use of GPU acceleration which is why the performance is so bad.

Hey just wondering, is anyone else mad that Hasbro gaming cranked down the difficulty on the EG dance off minigame? I for one used to play it all the time just to hone my skill and become better, now I just mindlessly tap the notes and get perfect scores just about all the time. I get that it's a kid's game but seriously; There should at least be a difficulty slider for people who want more of a challenge than hitting a note every few seconds.

Well, think of it this way. This game's main audience is most likely children and us. So, the children need an easy experience for "dance off" and us Bronies want a challenge. What I'm thinking of it a slider in the settings menu to adjust between three difficulties. The first being "new filly" and the easiest. This is the difficulty we've got as of now. The second is "button masher" This is the midrange between the first difficulty and the current, and an Easter egg for Button mash. The third is "true pony" this is the difficulty before the change and is available for anyone who wants a challenge. Do you get it more easily now?

I think its more likely the fact they completely failed the optimise the game well for Android so had to reduce the strictness of the scoring, although I'm not sure how that applies to iOS devices.

 

On my Galaxy Note 3, one of the most powerful Android devices on the market, the game stutters quite unpleasantly.  Its annoying in general but on the EG mini-game it completely ruins the game entirely.

 

Every time it stutters the notes drift out of sync with the music, making it hard to judge the timing as you start off tapping to the beat and half way through a song its often drifted so much you are tapping BETWEEN the beats.  I believe what happens is the notes stall but the music carries on playing, as I have noticed sometimes the notes carry on for a few seconds after the song has actually finished.

 

Its not QUITE as bad when running under Genymotion, although it seems to have gotten worse and worse with each new game update.  Besides, you really shouldn't need a high-end gaming PC just to play the EQ mini-game properly.

The Free Gems have disappeared,

The scoring was reduced in the EG mini-game

The mine cart gems went from 2 to 1.

Reduced probability for getting gems in the harmony stones and parasprites.

I just noticed a new pony called Torch Song. And it says for a limited time only. She is also in the album. So, if we don't get her by the time the offer runs out, will she disappear from the album or will we have one pony missing permanently in the album ?

 

That is, still showing but grayed out ?

I don't think that's the reason why equestria girls scoring was reduced. It's probably because of the solo daily & weekly events that involves Equestria Girls dance Mini-game. Another reason is that people can't beat the competitors high score, but what they should've done on equestria girls dance mini-game was to reset the scores and the leaderboard in the process.

 

The limited time ponies can be expensive and hard to get, but there's always a chance to get them on equestria girls dance and mine cart mini-game, and solo daily & weekly events if they're up for the reward (or up for grabs).

Well sometimes there's a 2nd chance whenever they decide to put those ponies up in the shop. What They should've done was add more ponies we can use for the shops because most of the shops we have are currently empty and unassigned and The current ponies we have in ponyville, sweet apple acres, and canterlot are currently occupied and we don't have that much ponies to assign the shops. I dunno how are we gonna get a limited time ponies because they may cost gems for us to buy and we don't have any other ways to farm gems besides we have so far.
