I treat them like they're a typical normal idiot that has a hard time understanding things. Gently but firmly. I explain that they are wrong, that there is no sense in arguing since they are wrong, and send them on their sad little way and tell them to reconsider their poor life choices (ie, not taking part in ponyness). They usually think I'm crazy but I'm an old person in a young body so I tend not to give a shit and spray them with a metaphorical garden hose. Damned young people and their uppity wrong opinions...

If reasonable conversation doesn't work then just leave them to wallow in their hatred. That's pretty much what I do in real life.

No but really, I watch MLP at home. Why have haters hate? It's a lot better to just not cause such a commotion in the first place.

If someone caught me watching MLP anyway though, it would be at my weird school...so i would just bait them by alt-tabbing to Starcraft/Minecraft.

Hater: I can't believe y-hey, is that Starcraft?
