Who is your favorite horror writer? It can be books, short stories, poems, or anything else you can think of.

 

My favorite by far would be H.P. Lovecraft.

Second would be Edgar Allan Poe.

They're both my favorites as well, except I like Poe a little more than Lovecraft. I love the Fall of the House of Usher, the Tell-Tale Heart, and the Conqueror Worm.

 

Of course, I also like the classics like Bram Stoker's Dracula.

 

I love the horror genre

 

Oh, I also love Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho, although some would argue that it is transgressive fiction, not horror.

Obviously Stephen King. IT, The Shining and Pet Semetary are his best works in my opinion. Also, Clive Barker is pretty awesome.
