Guns of Icarus online is a new game that came out in the midst of the hurricane yesterday. It's all about team based, airship gunplay!

 

The game has been featured both by the Yogscast, and TotalBiscuit.

Aerial combat and steampunk. I'm there. Just took a look at it and for the most part it's something I've been hoping somebody would make for years. It'll probably be Saturday before I get into it though.

Allright, so I heard about this game "Guns of Icarus", and I immediately got interested because of the steampunk-ish style and... well, the idea of the game seemed pretty damn badass and I'm considering  bying it. However, if I got things straight you're 3 people playing in a team on this airship agianst another team. Am I right? I feel like the best way to play it, would be to get two of my friends to buy it and talk via Skype while playing. Otherwise I suppose there's some kind of randomizer (is that even a real word by the way? O.o). The thing is, as you gamers probably  are full aware of, is that pick-up-groups usually fail MISERABLY. No matter if I play LoL, WoW or any other game... pug's... just, just, no. I'm not a big fan of it. 

 

So my question to you, my fellow Bronies, is what you think about this game. How should you play it to enjoy it the most?

I would definitely play it. I've only seen one video on it, but it looks a lot like something I would enjoy a lot. 

Steampunk is best Genre!

Seems like a pretty cool game, but it has its bugs. Also there are no dedicated teams so everyone is randomized, which apparently makes it better as well. I think it might be worth it because Muse Games is going to be updating it, which could potentially make it a lot better. Has somewhat polished graphics so that is also good. I think you should do a little more research(read the link) and then decide for yourself. I'm considering this game now as well.
