Vinyl's smile returned, this time a bit softer. She closed her eyes and rested her head on Winter's. "I promise I'll work on myself. I don't know what happened. I just sort of... snapped..." She dropped her head and looked up at Winter, one eye covered by her hair. "So... You still want to go to that dance?"

"I trust you fixed Nightfalls wing? Alright then, yes. I will still go to the dance with you."

 

She looked down for a moment

 

"I need to be honest with you. I feel torn sometimes....between you and Nightfall. Something about him....He left a hell of a first impression I guess...I don't know. I don't want you to be worried, when I say I'm with someone, I'm with them but.....I just wish I knew why my thoughts go to him randomly for no reason."

 

She laughed to herself. "Its silly. Lets just go, please. Its been a rough few days. I could use a boring dance."

 

She smiled at the beautiful site before her and nuzzled her again lovingly.

They walked on to the dance. "You know, I got a bit of a rush from that. I haven't been able to do that in months."

"If he told you he didn't have a thing for Lovely, then it was a a false impression. Whatever. I guess it doesn't matter anymore. Lets get to that dance." She smiled and kissed Winter. They walked on to the dance. "You know, I got a bit of a rush from that. I haven't been able to do that in months."

"Well, we need to find other things to give you rishes other then hurting other ponies. Oorrrrrrrr, maybe you could teach me and we could spar. I mean sure I'm better with magic then anything else, but I could stand to learn something from great Vinyl Blade."

 

She smiled warmly.

"No no. I'd rather find something else. I don't want to take a chance of hurting you." Vinyl smiled back, but her answer was completely serious. She had a tendency to let herself go. Parso left his room, so the text didnt send, but he at least had to see Cherished. walking down the corridor he noticed Nightfall in bad looking shape, but nothing serious

"Nightfall, you look like hammered shit, who the buck did this to you? was it Eris? I swear, I'll hang that prick up by his balls to a basketball hoop. come on, lets get you back to our room"

Parso offered him a shoulder and walked him back to their room

Of course, the mares had healed him, but he still felt weird and unbalanced. He used Parso's wing, staying quiet for a bit.

"No, no... it... it was Vinyl... Vinyl and Obsidian are going to the dance together, and I got- I got upset unnecessarily, so Vinyl broke my bones... My wing and forehoof... Obsidian fixed my hoof, and Vinyl fixed my wing... Don't worry about it, Parso..."

"It shows that Obsidian still does, to a degree, care about me... that makes me feel a little bit better..."

He shook his head.

"I shouldn't have lost my temper like I did..."

"Hmm? What's going to sound odd?", Rockshire asked. She took a sip from the punch, giving a confused look to the punch. "That's a weird tast-- Oh, buck... Star, PLEASE don't tell me that you just put the vial into this punch and I just drank some of it... PLEASE say you didn't..."

"Okay then, I did not put that vile in the punch. I simply slipped and dropped it in causing me to accidentally spike it. I don't know if it even works thought, it may be too dilated to have any effect. Better to be safe than sorry."

 

Star Keeper wasn't exactly sure what to do next, in fact not even what would happen next. How did love potions work? Was it a delayed effect, did it work by the first pony you see, was it temporary? This was going to be interesting.

 

"Don't panic but I have no clue what to do next."

Parso was curious about his friends wellbeing, Nightfall was mentally in rough shape and needed support so Parso will help him

 

"Well... It was my fault... I was looking for someone to talk to, but she was getting ready for the dance. Then I heard Obsidian, who had told me she wasn't going. Turns out both are going together. Well, after I figured out Obsidian was going, I kinda lost my temper... I deserved it... Obsidian may hate me more because of it now... I'm messing up my life, Parso... I think I need help... I feel lost, mentally..."

"anti-depressants, take one of them, and in half an hour, you might feel a little bit better. I'm no quack or anything but I also suggest you might need to see a shrink. If obsidian is one of the types of girls i think she is, just give her time to cool off, dont rush it, if you rush it, there is no hope of ever gaining her friendship again, dig?"

Rockshire didn't know what to feel at that moment: Panicked, because she had just drank an odd vial that could damage her for a while, or mad because Star just indirectly poisoned everyone at the dance.

 

"Oh, no... Nononononnono! This isn't good... Star... You're about to poison everyone..."

"Quite possibly. Not poisoned, just slightly under the influence of a love potion, which you have also just taken. Heh, sorry."

 

Star pulled some sense back into himself. "Okay, I know this is a total screw up, but perhaps nopony will notice. What could possibly go wrong?"

"Oh, I don't know... Maybe EVERYTHING?!  Do you not know how much trouble you could be in when the dean finds out you spiked our drinks?! He might throw you out of the campus! And not to mention that I just drank some of this! Buck... This isn't good... What are some signs of this vial?"

"I don't know, I threw out the warning sheet when I showed Ice Beam. Stallions never look at the terms and conditions. There isn't exactly much I can do, nor any way to tell how long till the effects kick in. Just wait here, I have to warn somepony quickly."

 

Star galloped off... again. He needed to find Dogboots, maybe he could offer some advice, maybe even help. Unlikely but possible. He would have to be subtle about it.

He looked at the instructions, noticing he would have to take either the pills for his headache or the anti-depressant pills. Without letting Parso know, he took his pills for his headache and left the anti-depressants alone. Besides, he didn't fully trust drugs given to him by non-medically trained ponies.

"I assume you're going to the dance... if so, good luck with your partner. I'll be back here... thinking... Wait, hang on."

He grabbed Parso's phone and copied his number down.

"I'll send you a text with my number on it later."

Rockshire wasn't sure what to do there either: Freak out about the possible situations, or strangle Star for not having the warnings or side effects on him. All she decided to do was to sit down in a chair the college provided for the dance and wait for Star to get back.

She stepped next to the ever beautiful Vinyl, ready for the teleport or to start walking.

"Well lets not dwell on it any longer. We need to head to the dance. Can you teleport two ponies or do we need to walk? I don't know enough about the college to teleport safely there. I may end up going over the cliff or something."

 

She stepped next to the ever beautiful Vinyl, ready for the teleport or to start walking.

Vinyl blushed and smiled gently at Obsidian. "I can teleport multiple ponies. How else do you think I get a pony back to the castle when I don't kill them? I just thought you'd like to walk and talk. Here we go." Vinyl took Winter's hoof into her own and in a flash they were gone. They reappeared at the entrance to the party. They noticed a few ponies they knew, but there was no sign of Eris or Lovely, then Vinyl spotted the punch bowl. "Ooh, look. Punch."

Here we go." Vinyl took Winter's hoof into her own and in a flash they were gone. They reappeared at the entrance to the party. They noticed a few ponies they knew, but there was no sign of Eris or Lovely, then Vinyl spotted the punch bowl. "Ooh, look. Punch."

She laughed as Vinyl made a bee line for the punch. She was pretty thirsty herself actually. She followed Vinyl and leaned in close.

 

"You know, I wouldn't have minded walking. I just know you really wanted to get here."

 

She walked over to the punch and poured both her and Vinyl a glass.

 

"Here you go lovely." She smiled and handed her the glass.

She laughed as Vinyl made a bee line for the punch. She was pretty thirsty herself actually. She followed Vinyl and leaned in close.

 

"You know, I wouldn't have minded walking. I just know you really wanted to get here."

 

She walked over to the punch and poured both her and Vinyl a glass.

 

"Here you go lovely." She smiled and handed her the glass.

"I'm not lovely. I'm sexy and you know it," she teased. She pulled her hair out of her face and took the drink from Obsidian. She took a sip, then put the drink down on the table. Vinyl savoured the flavour before swallowing. "Hmmm... That's odd. It tastes... funny. Did someone spike the punch or something?"

"Where the hell was Dogboots? Scrap that, he's nowhere."

 

Okay, time to see what you can recall on Love Potions. Come on, think. Let's see, based on a 1:3 scale the time of effect should be as follows. To every 1 litre of liquid should be added 0.33 litres. So if the average punch bowel is about 20 litres then it may take about 1.2 minutes for the effects to kick in. Oh crap. Ummm.. side effects. First pony they look at after the effects take place they will release a series of hormones which force them to become infatuated with that pony, male or female. I think that's right. I hope it isn't. Okay, so if't a 1:3 ratio then the effects will be not as sever as say a full dosage. Maybe about the level of a high school crush, or even as bad as the immediate need to sexual interaction. I just don't know.

 

"Rockshire!" Star needed to find her again, get her subdued for the mean time and dispose of the spike punch. He just hoped that no pony else had consumed any.

"Woah, chill there buddy- Star Keeper? What's with you? Why are you running around like some crazed colt? something wrong?" He asked as he stopped Star Keeper. "Probably doesn't recognize me cause i'm in my security uniform. He seems a little jumpy for just a dance. He trying to score again? nah. He's with rockshire." He thought to himself as he looked at Star Keeper awaiting his response.

Star Keeper came to a screeching halt in front of Dogboots, barley managing to stop in time. He regained his breath and began to answer. "Listen, I need your help. There is something in the punch, it's been spiked. I need you to check on Rockshire while I get rid of the contence. Just make sure she's feeling fine, I'm not to educated in what the exact symptoms are."

 

Before he could respond back, Star was off again. He reached the bowl only to see that it was already half empty. That would mean that a good majority of the ponies here have now been exposed to Love Potion. Oh bugger.

"Symptoms? Spiked? Well that rules out alcohol. So, what's in the punch? Drugs? More than likely. What's more likely is that he spiked it if he knows its spiked. Best, get to Rockshire though. Don't have enough time to ask more questions." He thought to himself as he made his way to Rockshire. She noticed him already but didn't seem to recognize him. "Ummmm, you probably don't remember me. You know back at the Coco Rocko when Star was trying to- ah who am I kidding? it doesn't matter. Anywho, Star asked me to keep an eye on you and see if your feeling alright? He mentioned the punch being spiked. Do you know anything about that?" He asked in a confused tone not quite sure what was going but it could explain the chill that he experienced earlier.
