As soon as Star Keeper kissed her, she began to blush, she leaned herself towards Star, feeling his tan coat, smiling and she kissed him  with some passion... "I-I just don't know how to say this... but I love you really..." she said to him. Even though they were still in the pool, she could feel some warm feeling on his coat, but it was probably just her...

'L-l-l-love? Really? That was a bit... soon.'

 

'What do we do?'

 

'Celestia knows. Request a Care Package.'

 

'As always, you are ever so helpful.'

 

Star didn't really know what to say, well, he couldn't. This was beyond his field of reason. There were certain things he had yet to explain, yet this was all his fault. Oh, why did you kiss her out of panic. Panic gets you nowhere.

 

"I-I'm so, so sorry. I just can't. I mean, we only just met, and I do like you, really, but I can't return what you feel. I'm sorry. I wish I could tell you why." And with that, Star Keeper fled. He hopped out of the pool, shacked himself off, and galloped down the steps. This was just all too much for him. He rested on the coach, thinking over what to do next. He just couldn't come clean, not here, not now.

"Wait!" she called out, she didn't really mean to offend him, she must of gotten to carried away? She got out of the pool herself but did not bother to follow him, she decided that he'd need some privacy for himself, she decided that she will apologize to him the next time she ran into him... so she decided to sit there... thinking what she done...

Descant disentangled himself and looked up. Into the room him and Rockshire now occupied had stomped a very flustered looking Star Keeper. "Don't ponies ever knock anymore?" He asked, directing his voice to where only Rockshire would hear him. Descant didn't think that Star Keeper had noticed them in the room, looking very preoccupied at the moment. Descant gets up, as quietly as he can, takes Rockshire by the hoof, and supporting her bad side, attempts to sneak out of the room without Star Keeper noticing that they had been in there.

"You guys aren't very subtle." Star Keeper said without even facing the pair. "But don't mind me. Go be cute some where else. I don't mind." Star sunk further into the coach, bringing one of he pillows into his face. "It's funny isn't it, love? Doesn't make sence,plays tricks on you. Stupid love."

Well, that totally killed the mood... Rockshire broke from Descant and went over to Star Keeper.

 

"Uh, Star Keeper? Are you OK? Is something troubling you?" She calmly asked him, as she sat on the edge of the bed, putting a hoof onto his pillow covering his head.

Star rolled over to face Rockshire, a very stern look etched on his face. "Nothing that you can help with. Thanks for the offer. Now go be adorable somewhere else. I'm really not in the mood." This was defying nearly every element of hi personality. He was a bit mucked up in the head it seemed.

"Seriously, Star. I'm not impressed." Descant didn't like the tone of his voice. Beneath the defiance... What was that? Descant couldn't tell. But he knew he wasn't going to let him get away with talking to Rockshire that way. "What's the big deal? Besides, we were here first."

Star raised a hoof and gestured to his expression. "You see this face. This is my not caring face. Because right now I don't care if you were here first. I don't care about anything."

 

'Back it up buddy, what the hell's gotten into you.'

 

'Oh shut it you bastard.'

 

'I'm you.'

 

'I said shut it.'

Descant raised his eyebrows.

"What's come over you, Star? I thought you were alright. I was even grateful to you for helping Rockshire with her leg. And I still am. But something's already changed about you. I don't care if you talk to me like you just did, but talk to Rockshire like that, and you're done. Got that? She just wants to help, and so do I. Why be so rude about it?"

"Got it chief. So what is it you want to talk about. I'm familiar with most social subjects in question, except YOLO. Don't bring up YOLO." Star flipped himself over on the coach, glaring at the pair in quite an arrogant manner. He was not exactly... himself right now. Something had clicked inside him. "Did you know that you are very attractive. Oh, and I'm talking to you, not Rockshire. Just thought you might want to know that."

 

'That was subtle.'

 

'That's Lord Subtle to you.'

Descant blinked and retreated a few steps. He had not the slightest idea how to respond to Star Keeper's final statement. Descant wished he could say he had misheard the stallion, but to do so would be flat out lying, to himself as much as to everypony there. Unfortunately for him, his well-trained ears didn't miss much, and they turned away in discomfort as Descant forced himself to say something. "Um... Thank you?"

Star suddenly awoke from a small nap on a cloud just above her home. 

She looked at her watch and gasped. "NO NONONO, Im late, im late, For an incredibly important date." She thought, Flying down into her house, grabbing her bag and flying toward Krystal's house.

After a few minutes of flying she arrived at the front door and knocked.

Rockshire raised both her eyebrows at Star's statement.

 

*Wait, he's gay? Then why did I see him kissing another mare just earlier? That's really odd...*

 

"Well, uh... That's really something that you don't hear everyday... But, you get another compliment from another pony, huh, Descant?", she tried to joke, still sounding uneasy.

"Ha, don't worry about it. I'm having you on, well, sort of. But as you can plainly see I have no interest in going around with, well, um... mares." Star sunk back into his pillow shutting out the outside world. "And now I'm not sure what I want. -sigh- Don't mind me, just go have a nice time."

[Descant 1,897]

"Yeah... Second one today. That's a first," said Descant, similarly uneasy, yet unable to resist a slight smile at Rockshire's jibe. "I wish there was something we could do, though, Star Keeper. Nopony deserves to be lying here sad and alone. It's a party, for the sake of Pete. I-" Descant's sensitive ears twitched, interrupting his thought, and he looked toward the door. "Another guest is here. It's an old friend. If you'll excuse me, I'll go let her in. Want to come, Rockshire?"

 

(OOC: I'm assuming they aren't on the ground floor here.)

Great, Rockshire had to choose again...

 

She could go with Descant to the door and see who it is. But she doesn't want to leave Star Keeper by himself to wallow in his depression...

 

She could stay with Star Keeper, and try to cheer him up. But, she doesn't want to leave Descant by himself. And what if the newcomer was a mare? What if she hooked up with Descant and started to... Lets not go that far...

 

"I think I'll go with you, Descant... I honestly don't want to leave him here, but..." She gave him a suggestive wink.

"Great!" Descant said, rather pleased. Looking back over his shoulder at Star Keeper, Descant said "We'll stop in again in a bit, okay?"  before carrying Rockshire out of the room. They made their way to the front door, which Descant promptly opened, and exclaimed, "Star Song! It's been too long. I didn't know you were coming!"

"Oh, Hi Descant. Sorry I wasn't here sooner. I was napping and I kinda forgot about today. How have you been ?" She said, Smiling. "Is Krystal here ?" She asked."Star... That was a stupid question. Its krystals party, Of course she is here." She thought, blushing slightly.

Descant laughed. "Yeah, of course Krystal's here. She's just a little.... busy at the moment..." Upon being given an inquisitive glance, Descant elaborated. "She disappeared into the jacuzzi a while ago... And I think she took Sky with her." He laughed again. "Bet they're having a pretty good time."

[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

Star smiled. "Thats good, I am happy everypony is having fun." She said, stepping threw the door way. "So... How have you been ?" She asked, Trying to make conversation.

"Oh, well, I've been holding up alright. Things have been kinda slow. Until this party, that is. I've needed to get out, and this party's been better than I'd ever have dreamed." He glances at Rockshire, somewhat fondly. Then, suddenly, he perked up. "Oh, I almost forgot! Rockshire, this is Star Song, an old friend of mine. Star, this is Rockshire."

Rockshire looked at the new mare with kindness and a hint of envy. Although she was pretty sophisticated in her field, one bad move from her was going to lead to trouble. 

 

She extended her hoof to the new mare. "It's wonderful to meet you, Star Song. Beautiful name by the way.", Rockshire calmly said to her.

[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

Star smiled shyly at Rockshire. "H-Hi Rockshire... Im Star Song... I mean... Descant already said that." She said, Blushing for the second time as her voice slowly fades. "And your anti social side comes out again." She thought, poking at the ground with her hoof, Then looking up and saying "I hope I didn't miss much."

Descant grinned appreciatively. "Don't worry, Star, she doesn't bite. At least, I haven't noticed any bite yet." He glanced at Rockshire out of the corner of his eye, to check if she had caught his jibe. "Well, how about we all go upstairs? Pretty sure almost everypony is still on the roof."
