Welcome to Winter Warmth. I hope that this RP will last as the previous RPs I have made have failed. Yes, It's a romance RP taking place in Ponyville. You may go wherever as you please and do what you want... As well as date anypony you want  

 

Rules

 

- No Alicorns and no unrealistic ponies

- No 18+ content

- Don't godmod or powerplay and don't make perfect characters

- The Mane 6 aren't in this roleplay

- Be active

- Play nice 

 

Just post on the OOC topic your OC and I'll add your character.

 

Anyway, I guess I'll start off.

 

Rain Dasher walked across the snow-covered town, amazed at the beauty of it all. She was what most call the "new mare" to Ponyville, and had never had a winter like this. She fixed the blue scarf that hung around her neck, tightening it closer to her as she trotted on, looking through the shops which showed off their items through a frost-covered window. Rain Dasher loved it all.

Yavolin was cleaning the streets of ponyville, when he noticed a new pony in town so he went up to her and made himself known."Welcome to ponyville i am Yavolin". Yavolin didn't smile mostly because he has seen a thousand mares and none of them seemed very friendly to him.

Draco flew through Ponyville slowly as he glared through his standard issue courier goggles at the snow. He hated the winter season as he had to either A. stay grounded which made him slower or B. made him crash into things. He was currently on a delivery to a mare with a rose cutie mark. "Oh no," Draco got hit with some turbulence he spiraled down towards the new mare "MAYDAY MAYDAY I'M GOING DOWN I'M GOING DOWN," Draco yelled out as he crash landed infront of the new mare. "Ouch," Draco moaned out with a mouth full of snow.

Ace was walking though town enjoying the view. "What a nice day, I do enjoy winter sometimes although that snowball fight was no laughing matter." Ace said remebering last winter. He contniued his lovly stroll when he saw Yavolin talking to a new mare Ace walked up tp talk to Yavolin. "Hey Yavolin whos your fire-AHHH" Ace yelled as Draco crashed in the snow knocking them up and completly covering Ace.

Diamond was in her kitchen mixing up some new types of tea to bring to the store.

When she finished she wrapped a scarf around her neck and trotted into ponyville. "I hope Star is going to have a good hearths warming eve with her family." She thought, Trotting into her store and flipping the closed sign to open.

 

 

 

(OOC: Just quickly... Diamond owns a teashop that her and her roommate Star Song opened up, Star is off visiting with her family.)

Rain Dasher looked at Yavolin, and smiled sweetly. "My name is Rain Dasher. I'm from Cloudesda-AHH!" Rain Dasher's sentence ended in a surprised yell as a pegasus crashed right in front of her. "A-Are you ok?" She stuttered as she brushed some snow out of her mane.

Yellow Dumpling trotted down the street, coat tucked nicely around him to keep him warm, even though one of his 4 legacies was to be able to make fire or heat at will. To explain better, he was basically a human heater. He preferred to keep his powers to himself, which is what he was doing anyway, his heat only radiating withing the limits of his jacket. Snow all around him, he was careful to avoid it. Touching it would cause it to immediately melt.

 

The smell of a sweet drink, which he identified as green tea, as he had lived in Pecking, where few ponies lived, as most of the population was a combination between a bird and a pony. He scowled as he looked in the direction the smell was coming from. The path was completely covered in snow, so he reluctantly turned his personal heater off, if that's what he could call it, which he did, if he had to describe it, before trudging through the snow.

 

He eventually left the grasps up the winter snow, only to crash into a window, a window belonged to some kind of tea shop. He stepped back, straightened his coat, and opened the door, only to hear a soft jingle of a bell.

Ace shiverd as he knock the snow off. "Th-thanks for the g-g-gift Draco," Ace said laughing but now shivering like a leaf. "I-i-i'll just go drink some hot choclolet." Ace said walking away. As he was walking he wasent noticing where he was going and ended up bumping into a mare who just closed her teashop. "Oh s-sorry I wasen't looking w-where I was going." Ace said still shivering.

Yavolin sighed and went over to draco."WHAT IN THE NAME OF EQUESTRIA WERE YOU THINKING DRACO? YOU COULD OF HIT HER UG YOUR LUCKY THAT THIS IS HEARTS WARMER EVE". Yavolin was angry but he wouldn't do anything to Draco except get on to him for being a sack of rocks.

"Calm down Yavolin I hit abit of turbulence when I was flying. I was in control of my crash landing you know," Draco said spitting out some snow. He turned to Rain then said "I am sorry if I startled you missI really don't like winter but hey a courier pony's duty is to deliver packages to his or her customers on time either through rain or snow or eternal night," Draco stood up shaking the snow off of himself sending some to Yavolin. "So anyhow miss later oh and hi Yavolin" Draco said flying into the air quickly.

Schola walked through the snow lost in thought, he mumbled to himself as he walked. "If I have to make it all the way home I must first make it half way home do I not? But then is there not also another half way point to be crossed between that and my goal? If this is the case I will never make it though this snow to my home as I should have to make it past an infinity of these half-way points!" As he was lamenting the fact that he found it logically impossible that he should ever be warm again he walked smack into a random pony.

Rain Dasher rolled her eyes at Yavolin and watched as Draco flew off. "Well that was eventful." She chuckled, and looked back to the pony. "So, anything I should know about this place before I start talking to ponies?" She asked.

Rain Dasher rolled her eyes at Yavolin and watched as Draco flew off. "Well that was eventful." She chuckled, and looked back to the pony. "So, anything I should know about this place before I start talking to ponies?" She asked. 

 

(OOC: Dang, still have Violet Icing to RP. I'll wait until the right moment, I guess)

(OOC: maybe she could run into Ace since hes just walking around trying to get back to his home since Draco nearly froze him to death.)

Ace could see his house in the distince and tryed to run but he was still freezing. I am going to get payback on draco. Ace was able to get to his house, he opened the door but fell down and fell asleep half of his body inside leving his door opened.

Diamond was behind her desk levitating boxes of tea onto the shelves. She jumped and the boxes fell from the air when she heard somepony bumping into the window. "Good morning." She said to the pony, Levitating a couple of the boxes back onto the shelves. 

"Is there anything I can help you with ? I also have some samples if you are interested in trying something." She gestured to a couple pots of tea on the counter.

"I am terribly sorr-" Schola begins but then looks at who he ran into. He gazed down at the pony laying on the ground, half covered in snow half inside his house. "This pegasus must be mad" He prods his side trying to force him to wake up. "Are you alright? Are you mad? you could die out here!"

 

After a moment realizing that he is not-respondent Schola lays his scholars cloak over the pony and travels back to his own warm home and goes to sleep.

Yellow Dumpling looked at the different pots, all seeming to be color coded. There were green pots, which needed no identification, but there were also brown ones, black ones, red ones and even, to his surprise, azure and yellow. Brown pots seemed ideal to hold the standard type of tea, but he made no gesture at which he would like to try. "I'd like to sample a few, if that's okay with you. On a cold day like this, any hot drink would taste splendid." He shook his mane, snow flaking out of it and softly landing on the ground. He stepped forward, his back hoof still staying back, going across the ground in a sweeping motion to quickly dry all the snowflakes and water they left behind from the ground, before bringing his hoof back forward to join the rest of his body.

 

"Do you have pots from around the world, or are they all made here in Equestria? I always enjoy tasting drinks from different cultures, they always tend to lead to all sorts of surprises," he said, recalling a strange drink from Filyppines made from a fruit. The drink, if he could recall it correctly, was called Beetle Juice, and it had left his teeth stained magenta for weeks afterwards.

"These tea's were all made by me... But some are recipes I have found from places like Germaney... So Yes, I guess they could be from all around the world... And there are a couple interesting ingredients in some of the tea's... But nothing to be scared of." She giggled 
"And my close friend, Star, is half zebra... Her dad traveled around the world and collected many many items, So some of these pots are from very far away. And I will just get you a mug." Diamond said, levitated a mug from the back room and placing it next to the teapots.

Yellow Dumpling looked among the teas, not sure what to take. He asked abruptly, "Do you happen to have any Genmaicha tea? I hear it is beginning to become a common tea in a distant country." Genmaicha tea, as Yellow Dumpling had just learned, was a mixture of green tea and roasted brown rice. It sounded a bit strange to him, but he had never tried it. Not to mention that it was becoming a widespread delicacy...somewhere.

 

((OOC: Legacy #2: His brain is practically a personal internet. He can look up any facts known by universe-kind, but he only uses it every now and then, because he thinks that if he knew everything in the world, he would never have the chance to be surprised.))

"I do have Genmaicha." Diamond stood up from behind the counter and trotted to a shelf next to the door, Grabbing a teabag and dropping it into a pot full of hot water.. "I always leave one pot with just hot water so if somepony is interested in trying something... That is, If you wouldn't mind waiting a couple minutes for it to steep." She said.

"I can wait a few minutes, I won't mind." He walked toward the east wall of the shop and looked at the assembly of pictures gathered, mostly different types of tea and the culture it came from, or a background that represented it's culture, behind it. It was all very interesting, but he decided he would be only wasting time staring at pictures if he stayed, so he headed back to the counter and propped his hooves on the counter.

"So... Are you new to ponyville ?" Diamond asked, trying to make conversation. "I haven't seen you around before so I was just curious." She said, pouring some tea leaves into a jar then moving it to the side and doing the same with another mixture of tea, then she put both the jars onto a shelf.

"I am, in fact. I've seen lots of the city during the fall, but if you ask me, I'm still getting used to all this snow." Actually, if you looked carefully, you could see that Yellow Dumpling gave no acknowledgement toward this fact, as it would look quite strange to a viewer. "How long have you worked here? Are you the owner?"

"Yea... The snow takes some getting used too. And yes, My room mate, Star and I, Opened this place a year and a half ago... So we both kinda own it, We are still paying off the lease for the building but we only have two more months too go and then it is ours." She smiled and stood up to check the tea. "Well, Its ready." She said, Pouring the tea into a mug and giving it to. "I'm sorry... I dont think I ever got your name."

Surprisingly, or rather not, that's because I never introduced myself. Pardon me, my name is Yellow Dumpling. And what's yours," he asked, taking the mug and taking a sip, pausing and setting the cup down for a moment. He took a small step away from the counter to make room between him and the mare behind the counter before he raised his body temperature to slightly lower than the tea temperature, before taking a second sip. To him, the cup of tea now tasted lukewarm, the perfect temperature for a cold winter day.

Diamond smiled. "Its nice to meet you Yellow Dumpling. My name is Light Diamond." She said, watching him take a small step back. *Why... Why did he do that ?" She thought, trotting into a room at the back and taking down a couple herbs that had been hung up to dry, Then walking back up to the front counter.
