Post your personally highly obscure pop-culture inside jokes/references!

Especially share ones that you use in real life with your own family and whatnot.

For me, and my brother, and my mother, whenever it is 6:03 p.m. it is time to take the pie out.

This is a reference to an an episode of Jimmy Neutron when the boys decide to rapidly age themselves into being able to purchase a mature-rated video game and instead rapidly age to the point where Jimmy calculates that they will turn to dust around that time.

6:13 is also the time that Timmy Turner goes to the bathroom, but it is not as special.

Me and my brother also among the only people we know in real life who have read the entire Underland Chronicles, so there are some weird references there as well.

Now, people, I'm hoping for some truly OBSCUUUUURE stuff.

What do you get when you cross an owl and a bungee cord?

Additionally, I often pronounce the number two/2 as "twoah" based off an extended scene in Beauty and the Beast. Also it makes more sense from the spelling and makes it not a homonym of to and too.

Oh, now I also have the chance to add in four other ones based on the first Harry Potter movie.

Whenever me, my brother, or sometimes my mother think of checking the mail,we remind ourselves "No post on Sunday".

Whenever me and my brother are jogging or sprinting to a destination and one of us is more than a few strides away, the person ahead will say "You'll never catch me, Potter!"

We also try to mention that we have thirty-six of something, so the other can complain that last year, we had thirty-seven.

Me and my brother have a specifically strong shared interest in the first couple Harry Potter movies.

Harry Potter is not at all an obscure thing, but I doubt people keep re-using those not-very-distinguished lines in everyday life

SWAPIN WEAPONS!!! This is an inside joke shared between me, Crazyclay, Ds8, and calendar. I would tell you the joke but that would make this post pointless.

The mind of the host will desperately try to create memories where none exist. Simple right?

"Get her!"   an inside joke shared between me and my dad. See my dad is a Vietnam veteran and tends to be against 'hawkish' politics and policies that involve US troops being sent in to hotzones.

The 'Get her' part comes from the original Ghostbusters movie in the 80s where, in the first scene in the library, Ray Stance instructs his fellow paranormal investigators to 'get her' (the librarian ghost). The comedy being of course WTF are you going to do even if you can catch this ghost with your bare hands.

Well, me and my dad watched this movie a lot when I was little, so the 'get her' scene kind of held fast in both of our psyches. So when the Iraq war broke out, and people that were talking 'exit strategy' were actually being shouted down as traitors, my dad would always sort of mock the hawks as having a 'get her' mentality.

And btw... don't think for a second that I'm somehow being anti-military. I'm training to join the Army myself.
