Eve was now... Well... In a substantially diminished mood. She knew Hop hadn't meant any harm. She had just wanted to talk. But... Eve thought she had escaped all this. The Cruise was months ago. She didn't want to remember it at all.

 

She hid these emotions by sipping some more punch. Putting it back down, she said, "So... You know the Twins well?"

"Yes ive met them and they told me a little bit about you as i never actually got to meet you because of well...you know. I find them to be rather interesting as well as Descant. I found him the most intriguing. Mostly because i couldnt read him like i can read you, even with out your rose. The only other pony ive never been able to read is Princess Celestia. Her poker face is too good, even for me." She said all of this in a matter-of-fact tone.

Silver mane saw sky and krystal kiss and trott of " well that was a bit unexpected, so who's gona spin now, eve do you mind spinning" he said looking over to eve, " unless any pony else whants to spin it " he said glancing g around the room.

When Sky dived off the mat with Krystal, Arrow slipped onto the mat. "Ouch...Oops." She giggled and stood up. "That was bound to happen sooner or later." She giggled, trotted over to where Eve and Hop sat so they could chat.

But they were already in a conversation so she sat down at the side of the mat.

 

(OOC: I feel like twister was maybe a bad idea.)

Eve smirked. "Yeah, he's a tricky one, that Descant." Her voice dropped an octave conspiritorially. "He tends to know an awful lot more than he should ever be aware of... I'd keep an eye on him if I were you." She neglected to mention that he had overheard Hop's and Stacy's entire conversation about a month ago... And that he'd appeared in her dreams.... Somehow, her mind kept drifting back to that...

 

(OOC: I know this is incredibly off topic, but I'm thinking about giving Descant and Rag and Tag last names. Descant's will obviously be different from the one shared by the twins. Any ideas?)

Little Hop pondered what Eve said then noticed she seemed to be thinking. Automatically her instincts kicked in but Hop quickly ignored them so she would hurt Eve any more. *The poor mare is probably kicking herself right now.* Hop thought to herself. Finally her instincts got to her and she had to ask. "Eve, youre thinking about something..do you want to talk about it?" Hop prayed in her head that Eve wouldnt want to talk about what she was thinking about, especially if it was what she thought it was.

Little Hop pondered what Eve said then noticed she seemed to be thinking. Automatically her instincts kicked in but Hop quickly ignored them so she would hurt Eve any more. *The poor mare is probably kicking herself right now.* Hop thought to herself. Finally her instincts got to her and she had to ask. "Eve, youre thinking about something..do you want to talk about it?" Hop prayed in her head that Eve wouldnt want to talk about what she was thinking about, especially if it was what she thought it was.

Eve dipped her head respectfully. "You don't miss much, do you?" 

 

She thought briefly. Stacy trusted this mare, insanely much. So... So would she.

 

"I still have nightmares. When the volcano erupted.... I could barely move. The world ended. All I could hear was screaming. The forest-" she elaborated. "-was in such horrible pain. I could hear its screams. I shared its pain. It was horrible. I felt every burnt trunk, every devastated sapling... And I felt them disappear..." She shuddered, and even though she was starting to cry, she kept talking. It seemed that she had been waiting for a long time to get this out of her head. "I still dream about it. I still hear the screaming when I sleep. And when... When it happened, I doubt I ever would have come back. But Stacy brought me back. She saved me." And now tears were pouring. "And I betrayed her. I didn't pick her. And now, there's no way she would take me back, even as a friend." 

 

She was fully aware that Somber was still there with them, and that her was obviously uncomfortable with her confessions, but she didn't care. Let him listen. Let him realise the extent of her pain.

Hop let out a sigh, "Well im a therapist. Im not supposed to miss much. But if i were you, i wouldnt be so quick to judge Stacy like that. She has a tendency to surprise..even me sometimes. And ive know her for years. Its not my decision if you just want to be friends with her or you want to have an actual relationship, thats up to you. Either way i...guess ill support you. Though im not a fan of seeing same sex couples, its not my place to judge. Im just there to be of help." Hop stopped herself as she noticed she was ranting a little. "Just think hard about it. Very..hard."

With that Hop got up and looked at the mare with pity. Then trotted off to continue watching the game of twister.

Evergreen had managed to hiccup herself into silence. Stacy was right... Hop knew what to say, and when to say it. Maybe she'd see her about the nightmares if they continued...

 

Still slightly upset, she buried herself into Somber's shoulder, taking deep breaths. Somber looked a little uneasy, considering what Eve had just been talking about, but... Thankfully, he was there for her all the same. She could sense he had a question on the tip of his tongue....

As Hop made her way to another spot to watch the game of twister she began to think about the conversation she had only moments ago. And the more she thought about it, the more she doubt the if Eve were to show up at Hops house to ask Stacy to be her friend, that Stacy would react in a complete oppiste way. That Stacy would rather verbaly attack Eve instead of accepting friendship. The only thing is that Hop failed to mention that Stacy didnt know about Sparks and Eves break up. Maybe if she invited Eve over to talk it could benifit both of them...or not. Either way she had to get Stacy to confront Eve at some point.

Eve looked over at the twister mat, which was indeed overcrowded. She didn't think that Somber would much like her idea of fun, which unsurprisingly involved plants. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do, and just told him so. "Well... I don't know. Um..." Her voice trailed away, lost in thought.

Silver noticed arrow had fallen and went of the mat, he smiled at her as he (accidentally) fell, "oops gues I'm out then ", he then trotted over to where arrow leaf was sitting and sat next to her, he smiled and said " so any ideas what else there is to do around here ".

As silver trotted over to the dance floor he looked around for a moment, he saw eve and somber chatting a pony he didn't know watching the twister game witch was slightly over crowded * glad im not in there any more * and afew other ponys scattered around the house, he looked back at arrow leaf "shall we " and held out his left hoof with a smile.( i don't know what music is playing right now any suggestions?, I think after cristmas this rp slowed right down, pleas people keep posting )
