gaming Super Mario 64 Multiplayer

so i was browsing youtube last night and came accross this

it works very well actually, i controled both players (lolforeveralone) and it was well done, so if anypony is interested you can get it for free and stuff

 

i apologize in advance if roms/emulators are fobidden on these forums, so if it is feel free to lock

No real point to that since Super Mario 64 DS had multiplayer(and it was damn fun).

Still cool someone took the time to do this I guess.

i forgot to mention this also has online multiplayer, and the ds version was kinda boring for multiplayer, all you did was kill each other for stars, in this you can do the whole game with one other person

 

the really suckish part is that for beta for 64 ds had story mode multiplayer but was scrapped

Oh, well I liked it, but only played it with a friend who had the game a couple times.

Still very nice though, did not know about the whole scrapped thing.

yeah it was fun but got boring after a while, as for the story mode it was fun too with those 30 extra stars, but no 100 lives and super triple jump, plus my favorite glitch was removed from the ds version, the hat glitch in the desert where mario holds his hat

 

remember the waluigi rumor? theres a good chance he wouldve been in the game, but waluigi is owned by camelot, and i guess they didnt allow him to be in 64 ds, shame

Didn't know that either. Kind of odd though considering Waluigi is in every Mario side game ever since Mario Tennis, including(and mostly) those not made by Camelot. Guess a main game would have been too much?

It's made like the 4 player Zelda OoT mod...

The big problem here is the lack of split screen. The camera doesn't like focusing on more than one player instance, and as such ignores one. Because of this, It is nearly impossible to experience multiplayer correctly. Even with Kalleria (Which is horrible), the camera is still set on P1.

Toads Tool + SM64M = INFINITE POSSIBILITIES.

meh, the cameria seems fine to me, but i do prefer spitscreen, but i still consider this pretty cool, one screen doesnt bother me much, you jsut have to stay together is all

oh Jesus! this looks amazing. There are just no words. Too bad I kinda suck at mario games and didn't explored Mario 64 that much. But I love this

No Luigi? Wow. This would've prevented so many arguments with my brother when it came to who's turn it was if they had this in the original game.
