Sturdy stepped back and stretched his wings wide, then curled them in, repeating his exercise a few times he sighs comfortably "Very good Goldseek, thank you very much!" He extends a wing and slams it roughly against the heavy wooden door, before observing the unharmed wing and smiling "Oh yes this will function very well, well, shall we get going?" Sturdy Wing fastens his pack and takes to hovering alongside Goldseek with a bit of visible difficulty.

"I guess so. It seems everypony is heading out of town, so we should follow them, I guess." Goldseek looks at the wings, still a little unsure, but then heads off. He spots the scouts getting approach by a guard, and instincts tell him to go help them, but he quickly thinks otherwise, sad that two members of the party have already been lost.

Sturdy hovers alongside Goldseek, remaining silent as he notices Gold's reaction to the ponies in the distance. "Are those ponies being harrased?" He scowls and spreads his wings, lowering his head "Should we do something? Do we know them? I will attack if need be"

"They're scouts for the team. I doubt we can help them, don't want to cause a commotion. Lets just hope they can think of a good excuse." Then Goldseek had a thought. He could safe them quick and easy. "Wait a minute, scratch that, lemme just..." Goldseek reached into his pack and pulled out his single bladed dagger. He alligned everything, then threw the blade at a building nearby. The guard left to inspect the blade, buying the scouts some time to escape. "That should do it. Lets hope they seize the opportunity. Shame though, that was my favourite weapon."

"Well... that's one way of doing that, slightly less upfront than how I usually solve problems" He chuckles and smiles, beconing over the two scout ponies to join us.

Sturdy descends to the ground, frustrated at the lack of up time he can maintain on flight with the clasps

 

"OOC: I am done for the night, at least until The-Master returns and I know where we are going with this"

Descant had already had a plan formulated on how to... take care of their following guard... He had even already drawn his flute... When suddenly, he heard metal striking wood, and the guard stopped to look. Now's our chance! Descant took Sweet by the hoof and, keeping to the shadows, merged seamlessly with the group he saw emerging from the Inn.

 

"Whose dagger was that?" He whispered, hoping whoever threw it was within earshot. He'd replace the dagger happily.

Arrow nodded at Helm. "Im taking the back door." She stood up, strapped on her bag, Grabbed her double ended spear and headed towards the back door of the inn.

She pushed the door open and walked out onto the empty street. "I hope everypony is awake and ready to go." She thought, walking down the street towards the edge of town.

She pushed the door open and walked out onto the empty street. "I hope everypony is awake and ready to go." She thought, walking down the street towards the edge of town.

 

Sturdy takes to the air as he hears the door swing open, flying around the tavern he notices the intimidating, stoic Plant-like pony exit the building. Soaring down to the ground he lands with a heavy THUD behind her

"Well hello there Arrow! mind if I join you?" He smiles widely

You know... if you need some protection" Bowing his head make very apparent the blade atop his head, grinning and tucking his wings in.

Descant shrugged, and followed Goldseek on their way out of town. "I've got quite a few daggers myself. I haven't enchanted them, but you can take your pick once we're out of here," he muttered under his breath to Goldseek.

 

He was slightly annoyed, but didn't let it show. Once they discovered the guard's body,  they would lock the town down, and if they weren't out by then, they were royally screwed. Descant could have just put him to sleep...

 

He didn't even notice that he still held Sweet's hoof. He was too distracted by what was going on to really pay attention to that little detail.

"So you had commented on the strangeness of my weaponry" Sturdy says while walking "but how on Equestria do you use that thing you have" He gestures to the spear

Helm burst round the corner only to be suddenly tugged back by Star Keeper. Helm was obviously furious at him, but came to realist his reasons were sound.

 

"Don't run out there so quickly. The exit has one guard still patrolling it."

 

"Right. Star, fly over and create a distraction. I'll take him out."

 

"Just try not to kill him." Star took to the skies and flew over the edge of town. The guard suddenly looked up and began to throw threats at him and commands. Helm crept up behind him, drawing out his heavy ax. With one swing he brought the blunt edge down on hid head, knocking him out cold.

 

"Now, let's get out of here." Helm galloped out the now unguarded exit, finally arriving at the shores of the river. Star was already there waiting for him, still eager to learn of what happened.

 

"So you didn't kill him."

 

"No, he will live to see another day, although he will have to face it with a rather sore head mind you."

"Well, Thank you for joining me." She smiled.

"My weapon of choice...A spear. And I joined because I want adventure. There was a part of my life where ponies called me a witch who does black magic, And I want to be known as a pony who helped rid Equestria of Smaug the dragon...Rather than being known as a witch."

"As noble a pursuit as any miss Arrow, I will do my best to help you attain the reputation you seek" Sturdy dips into a low bow and continues to walk alongside the Dryad in silence, excited for the journey ahead, and relishing the chance to fight back against the evils of this world...

"As noble a pursuit as any miss Arrow, I will do my best to help you attain the reputation you seek" Sturdy dips into a low bow and continues to walk alongside the Dryad in silence, excited for the journey ahead, and relishing the chance to fight back against the evils of this world...

"i have a feeling you and I shall become quite good friends" he sighs, extending a hoof

"Brohoof." Arrow smiled and bumped her hoof against Sturdy's.

 

"I do think that this trip will bring everypony closer together." She said, ignoring a shopkeeper's odd look as he watched Arrow and Sturdy walk towards the edge of town.

When they arrived at the gates Arrow noticed an unconscious guard laying next to the gate. "Looks like we're not the first to leave." She said.

Goldseek looked around, confused. "Any of you scouts know where we are going? I was a bit late, and thus I am unsure of where to go." He looked around for other ponies, not finding any. He hoped that he wasn't lost, especially in a place like this. Guards could be anywhere.

She was not the most athletic of ponies. But she was still confident that her magic and her new enchanted weapons would make her a formidable opponent.

"I...Well...Um...Ok." She opened her leafy wings and flew into the air next to Sturdy. "I still feel weird about this...As I said to Seeker, I am so used to keeping this a secret but...i'm a dryad..." She said, Flying a little ways up into the sky. "We better get going...Star and Helm will be waiting."

 

Sturdy's eyes open wide, surprised "OH.." he stutters out "I was not aware you could fly" He releases her hoof "forgive me" 

Taking notice of the small pony trailing behind he darts down to the ground, landing beside her

 

 

 

When Arrow left out the back door, Star Rain followed. She tripped along the way though, but she got up and ran up to Arrow and Sturdy Wing.  Panting, she said,"Wait...for...me..." "Thanks," Star Rain replied. She continued on, tingling with excitement that the journey is going to begin.

 

"From the looks of it, the two scouts as well as Gold are grouped together, if we managed to meet up then we should have six of us together, follow me" He gestures to Star and Arrow to follow him, hovering slightly over the ground, wings beating slowly

 

"Are you guys coming along?"

"Yeah, we're coming," she said. She dulled the metal on her sheath so that it doesn't catch anypony's eyes. She knew very well they couldn't afford to be found.
