"Yes of course I do" Sturdy says, bucking his pack over to the parched unicorn "Enjoy, and be a little bit more careful next time"

*pant* *pant*"Ok... thanks!" Star Rain said, levitating a small orb of water out of Sturdy's pack and letting it float into her mouth. It was a huge relief, like drinking water from the south pole after walking in a desert for a thousand days. Finally, she settled down, and slowly ate her roasted apple.

"So Helm" he turns back to the map "Have you decided what you are doing? I will spearhead our group wherever you choose to send us"

"At this stage we are left with two choices; continue north to Canterlot or head West to the mountain. Canterlot is the only hope of finding the entrance to the mountain, but they have already threatened to halt my plans once before. Celestia has not taken kind to this quest. This is why we had to sneak out of Ponyville. If we are caught then this is over."

"Well then to Canterlot it is, but with padded hooves and silent wings" Sturdy remarks decidedly

"We need to go where we need to go, and if Celestia means to stop us then we must move quickly and quietly" He closes his eyes for a few moments before opening them once more, resolved

"We need to move during the night... Under her radar, at least until we near the mountain"

"I would not go to Canterlot, not in a million years would we break into the city and claim the records. I will not step hoof within its walls, less the princess has a change of heart." Helm gave a gruff tone as he spoke. His experience with the sisters less that fine. "Curse their line, they tell me not to go into the mountain, and yet they give me no reason as to why I shouldn't Curse them."

"We're going to Canterlot?!" Star Rain exclaimed. It was the very home she had ran away from! And now they have to go there?! For her, it would be a very unwelcoming homecoming party. Her mother was the royal medic to Celestia, much like her late father was. But then Arrow's words raced through her mind; "There is no way to escape your past, You need to face it and overcome it. Its tough but its life."

(OOC: I plan on having Star Rain's mother enter at some point like a boss from a video game. Mind if I do?)

"Im with Helm...I dont like big cities...They stress me out." Arrow said, sliding out of the tree roots which had wrapped themselves around her. "My vote lays on not entering big cities...Unless we Really really really need too." She said, Walking over to the group and sitting down next to the fire.

Goldseek overheard the conversation and leapt up. "Canterlot? Sounds interesting. It's one of the very few places I haven't almost died in. I guess it wouldn't be smart to assault someone in the same city that the princesses are in. Anyway, a secret passage into a mountain cant be that hard to find."

"Without a map it would be near impossible to find. The ponies that once delved there were crafty, doors nearly impossible to find. Even I could not remember how to enter. It may come to it that we may have to enter Canterlot. Although...  there is always a risk."

Sturdy sighs and shakes his head, unable to understand his party members reactions "It's not like we are going to walk in to the city and scream our presence, and Celestia is by no means omniscient. Rather than bother about with secret passageways and whatnot lets just enter the city, keep our mouths shut and go where we need to go" He slams his wings into the ground in a huff

"Worst comes to worst, we flee, it cannot possibly be that bad, just keep your pasts behind you and lets get done what we need to do"

Helm did not say anything else, his head sunk low. He couldn't enter Canterlot, not after what he had said. He would be putting others at risk as well as himself. Maybe he had no choice. It might even be the only way.

"We will discuss it in the morning. It is getting cold and I feel in need of rest." Helm set himself down next to a tent, his eyes struggling to stay open. But then he was startled back to reality, his ears pricking up. A rustling of leaves and a cracking of trees could be heard coming in their direction. They weren't alone.

"Company! To arms!" Helm yelled, seizing his own heavy axe. Star Keeper galloped to his side, short sword in hoof. Helm eyed the woods, calling off to his scouts. "Descant! Sweet! They've got us from behind!"

From the trees appeared three lumbering hulks, trolls. They were huge, filthy, but strong. They must had heard them from the woods. There was no choice; they had to fight.

"We have company!"

*Well this...Happened quite suddenly.* She thought, Gripping her spear tightly. and glaring at the Troll's, Waiting for somepony to make a move.

Descant leapt to his hooves from where he had been sitting. He had no idea how they had managed to sneak up on him, of all ponies... He looked wildly about, and saw at the back of the company, three gigantic, ugly creatures. He was at the front. His daggers would be useless from there... He sprinted around the side of the clearing, silent as a shadow, and drawing his flute, he stuffed one of the orange darts into the end of it, and blew. The dart soared noiselessly out of the flute, and stuck in one of the troll's necks. Descant grinned, but his grin vanished as the troll brushed away the poisonous dart as if it were a bothersome gnat. It was admittedly swaying slightly now, but that should have easily knocked it unconscious. All Descant had really managed to do was draw attention to himself. "Domen dail," he cursed, as he prepared to bolt.

The three monsters looked dumbfounded at the camp, gazing across the company that seemed to jump to life. The fire had drawn them like moths to a flame, eager to enjoy a good supper of pony. The largest of the three trolls ripped a tree from its roots and swung it as a club, missing his target on his first swing but managed to strike Star Keeper on his second try. The Pegasus collided with a tree and fell unconscious. Helm pulled a throwing axe from his belt and hurled it at one of the trolls, hitting it's shoulder. It roared in pain but came back with more attacks. They seemed to shrug off their attacks like it was nothing.

Star Rain's horn began to glow cyan as she charged up a spell while unsheathing her enchanted sword and one of her daggers. She forced herself to stay steady, as she was scared to actually fight an enemy for the very first time. However, she dug her hooves into the ground, glaring at the trolls with a ferocious glint in her eyes. She faced a troll and fired a magical beam at it while following with a slash to the eyes with her sword to blind it. It reacted as if hit by a dodgeball, but she managed to partially blind it.

Goldseek smirked at the challenge and whipped his dual-bladed knife from his puzzle box. They were huge. He ran up to to one to see how it would react. And almost got clobbered. "Woah, your not very nice. Neither are you the best looking trio, but we can discuss that later." Goldseek leaped onto one of the trolls and stabbed his dagger into him, but the weapon barely pierced his skin. The creature brushed Goldseek off like he was a fly, and he hit the ground with a thud.

Sturdy grins widely "And to think I almost missed this!" He powerfully flaps his wings and soars through the camp with horn barred heavily, aimed at the gut of the most unharmed troll

""DIE FIENDS! you will not defile these woods" and takes a swing at the gut of the troll with his Kirram and raising on his hind hooves, he batters the beast twice with his wings, before bowing down, grinning, waiting to see the result of his attack

Unlike the ponies that sat next to the fire, seeker sat above them in a large enough branch. He looked down at the group his icy blue eyes piercing the darkness around him as he listened into the conversation. His ear's seemed to flick for a moment as he heard massive  footsteps closing in, before he had the opportunity to warn the group, they had jumped to attention when three massive trolls appeared. Before Seeker even had the opportunity to draw his blade, a troll had tried to slam him out of the air with its bear fist, only for it to stumble as Seeker used his wings as he flew a bit higher getting out of it's reach. "Descant! aim for the beast's eyes!" Seeker called out as he drew his massive great sword and charged  the troll from behind that had tried to swat him like a bug.

Arrow glared at the troll that pulled the tree from the ground. *No one does that in front of me...Or ever.* She thought, Quickly flying above the troll's head and slicing at its arm. She managed to give it a deep cut but not enough to stop it. She landed behind the troll and stabbed one end of her spear at its Achilles Tendon.

Descant fumbled in his bag again for another dart. This time he pulled out a black one. They were in limited supply, and were, quite frankly, overkil. The black dart the most lethal of all of his poisonous darts, but had the least immediate side effects, beside the flesh burning. This black little dart would kill the crap out of anything with a beating heart, except perhaps the great dragon itself. He stuffed it in his flute, took careful aim, and with a burst of magic, released the dart, which flew ... and spectacularly engorged itself into the flesh of the largest troll's left eye.

Immediately it started screaming with agony, as the corrosive poison began eating away the flesh in its face, and it started flailing about wildly. Unfortunately for Descant, it caught him in the side with his club, and he flew into a tree. There was a loud, ominous cracking noise, and he landed in a huddle on the ground, quite obviously knocked out cold at the very least.

Star Rain continued slashing at the eyes, suffering a couple injuries in the process. Gosh, they must have really thick skin or something! I haven't even made a visible mark! Unless... Star Rain thought to herself. She came up with an idea and remembered a spell she had always had some difficulty on. Her magic aura went from cyan to a dark blue as she began to envelope one of the trolls in an orb of water. If she could hold it there for long enough, the troll would suffocate and drown. With her sword and daggers out to repel any attack, she held her own as she attempted to drown the troll.

Helm made his best effort to dodge the incoming attacks, but found himself only just escaping the crushing fists of the trolls. He could not break their hide with but iron, he had to find a weak point. A idea struck him."Star Rain!" Helm yelled out to the mare. He eagerly gestured at the nearest roll with his axe. "Toss me at him with your magic!"

(Hmm... I know that i'm not in this RP and it's not within my rights to say a thing. But I have noticed that you guys have gotten some geological errors in this RP. You talk about going through Everfree Forest in order to get to Canterlot, but the dirrection you're moving in is the direct opposite of Canterlot. Refer to the Equestrian World Map: http://derpy.me/5tE7g

I just wished to point this out cause it is a pet-peeve of mine.

Goldseek sat up, rubbing his head. "Ugghhh. These guys are tougher then I expected. Descant! Can't you do your... flutey thing?" He tried to sit up, only to find he had injured his back in some way. Laying back down, he selected his dagger and aimed for one of the trolls eye. He threw it, and it flew through the air, piercing his eye and half blinding him. In anger, the troll ripped the dagger out and threw it with all its force at Goldseek, hitting his hoof.

"O-ok, I'll try!" Star Rain shouted back. She sacrificed half of her hold on the water orb spell and concentrated her psychokinesis on Helm. She looked to her right and focused on him. She lifted him up with great strain, levitated him back some, and with a loud yell, threw him at the other troll. As for the troll she had trapped, she was feeling faint, but she forced herself to keep drowning it. Finally, the troll stopped thrashing and just sunk, breaking the water orb spell. Star Rain staggered a little and felt even more faint, but she struggled to remain conscious. She held her sword in her mouth and jabbed at the troll's knees, causing it to roar a little. It would've done more damage of she had not attacked meekly.

Sturdy Wing removes his bladed helm from the trolls underbelly and yawns sleepily, observing the drowning troll and the other two being handled well enough by the other party members...

"Well... You guys got this right? It's still late and I haven't gotten any sleep" He yawns once more and hovers softly before flying up to a nearby tree branch
