"Question, why in the world would I want to stop the assassination of my enemies? I get that perhaps manipulating them would benefit, but rooting them out does the same. Furthermore, what would you get out of this, and why tell me about it?"

Tartaros stood guard, he didn't trust Eos, so he wouldn't so readily agree to anything.

"Rooting them out does nothing. It's too early in the rebellion for that. Guards, sure, but officials? You're killing people who know things everyone else doesn't and everyone else won't know-except me." She crossed her arms. "I told you about it because I'm busy and you seem capable enough. I don't trust you, but that doesn't mean I couldn't use his life and you couldn't use intel."

"What are they talking about, now?" Hirue whispered.

 

"They're saying that D class plant Demons need to shut the hell up before I use weed spray." Butajiri said while still listening intently.

 

"You know what. I highly doubt that's what they're talking about."

"The point though is to weaken them from the inside. You make a good case however, but don't expect me to actually bring him back to you," Tartaros said. Again he wasn't sure he'd like the outcome of what this girl was offering, but it did seem like a better bet that just offing someone... without first squeezing useful information out of their cries of agony.

"Yes, perhaps..."

"Oh, I don't need him, but believe me-this choice will pay off ten times over." She smiled. "Now if we have a deal, we have some eavesdroppers I'd really like to take care of...from the looks of it, those two odd ones." She shook her head. "They thought we didn't know...they seem like amateurs."

 

Internally Eos was cheering-this was exactly what she needed.

*Sasha looked over at the clock. It was just about time to meet up with RT again. She quickly donned her spare outfit. Her usual one was in the wash, cleaning off the blood from her fight with the guards earlier. Before she left, she looked over at Lester. He still hadn't awoken, which didn't surprise her. Light shifting people usually knocked them out for at least a day. Sasha stepped out of her window. The sun was beginning to rise, so she decided to use light now. She let herself fall from the window, and wings of light appeared and attached themselves to her back and suspended her in the air. She rose higher quickly. Weiss liked the wings, they were pretty and they were fast. She pointed herself in the direction of her meet up point with RT and took off in that direction quickly.*

Night Hawk returned to the base and he and The Rocketeer waited for a bit, morning came and slowly people started showing up through the sewer entrance, Rocketeer was sitting in a back room, looking at  roll sheet of members Night Hawk walked over to him "so what are you doing?" The Rocketeer looked up "im selecting some one to take the shot, im thinking about choosing someone that weiss light shifted, mainly because i was planning on having weiss protect the guy as he made the shot"

Eis inclined her head towards them politely as she spoke. "Eavesdropping isn't something you ought to mess about with lightly. Some people get very upset, you see. Now, what is your business here?"

 

There was a sudden "pat" sound and a dark shape landed catlike next to Eos. It straightened up, the dark hair mussier than usual.

 

"I'm late to the party, fill me in," said Fenyw, rocking back and forth on her heels. "Oh, hi," she added offhandedly to the other three.

 

"Plan B," stated Eos simply, and Fenyw widened her eyes.

"Man, wish I could help, but Dyn's got his job," she sighed.

Eos frowned. "No eels here, frendo. Hold on a second." Her body did its normal limp thing and her eyes glazed as she attached to a delivery man that had been dropping off new food. She shoved those unloading the truck and gunned down the road towards the harbour.

Twenty minutes later the delivery boy arrived with a cooler and Eos jolted up as he collapsed. "There you go," she said, opening the lid with a flair. "Eels. How thoughtful of him. Thank you, babes."

 

Rolling the body away she leaned on the table. "So what did you do to end up here?"

(Going to assume you meant Shell about the letter as well. Pretend this post was in the past)

Shell gratefully ate the contents of the container, but the topic she brought up wasn't his favorite, but he thought he could trust her since she did all of this for him. "I entered a sacred temple of my people when i was not of age or permission, you would not understand why its such a great deal of a crime" he said in between eating his eels.

 

Once he finished eating he set the container down and his smile left his face. "Thank you for the food, I will be going now" he said before turning to leave.

Despite the big ones stench, I recognize your scent. Elvish, not quite Yokai, but Its good enough. I don't care which side your on, I'm helping you and ending this annoyance".

*Weiss gently landed at the entrance to the rebel base. She looked around, but did not see the confrontation going on not too far away. Weiss flipped her hood up and allowed her wings to dissipate, the feathers falling off individually before turning back into simple light. She walked up to the door that led into the base's entrance, looked behind her cautiosly, then entered the building, closing the door gently behind her.*

*Lester woke up in a bit of a daze. He was in a stange apartment, and his head hurt like crazy. He stood up from the couch he had been sleeping on, and began to explore. There was one door with a big sign on it that said, Keep Out. Lester deduced that it was a bedroom. He walked through the apartment some more and found the kitchen. There was a note on the counter and he noticed that his name was on the top of it. He picked up the note and read it. The note explained what had happened the night before and that there was food and tylonol for his headache. Lester saw the tylonol and a full glass of water sitting on the counter next to where the note was. Lester opened the bottle of pills and took a couple. He looked around and saw a folded set of street clothes. The note had mentioned them too. He changed out of his bloddly guardsman uniform and into the street clothes. He then walked into the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. His haor was long and braided, in the syltyle that all guardsmen had. He spotted some scissors on the counter. Lester made his desicion and picked up the scissors, an cut his hair off. Almost all of it. He evened it out so that it was short enough to looked spiked without support. It looked much better than with the braid.*

"A new chapter of my life. I should make better use of it this time."

once every one was there, and The Rocketeer saw Weiss enter and stood up and walked to the mane table "alright guys listen up this is a big one, a goverment official is going to be travling through this street " points and the map, then points to another building "we are going to position a sniper in this abandoned apartment, he will be postioned on the 7th floor, i have selected Jackson to make the shot, Weiss will be escorting you and protecting you as you make the shot, the official will be riding in an open car, you will be given a photo of him, this official will be ariving in a few hours, the rest of you are on recon duty, if you spot the car, or anything that could compimise the mission, call it in

*Jackson nodded when he heard that he had been selected as the sniper. He wasn't surprised. He had been a sniper for the military before Weiss had light shifted him.*

Eos lifted her eyebrows. "Dear, I am not even CLOSE to yokai. Now pray do tell these...aspirations of yours. I really have all the friends I need, and I'm not really looking to end this war. However, I'm sure we can help one another in some manner or another."

 

Fenyw fowned. "I don't trust these two," she muttered, but Eos waved her off and smiled, waiting to see what was wanted of her.

"There is only one thing good about humans. They worship the famous. Someone creates something they like or says something they are moved by and humans will worship them like gods! I will become famous to all realms, human and demon! I have the looks down already, don't you think?" He said with a slight chuckle. He pulled his sword from its sheath and held it high. It appeared to be a traditional katana. "But this is what I'm most proud of. The greatest sword ever forged, and only I may wield it. I'm sure You've heard of the famous BenKei. He challenged me once, all I had to do was unsheath this blade, and he backed down. The perfect sword for the perfect demon. Why would they not worship me? The only thing in my way is this war. It's gone long enough, and its time for the humans to learn their place!"

The Rocketeer nodded "the Dragunov is in the back, make sure to pack it in the chello case, as soon as you are ready you and weiss head out and set up everyone else get in position, Night Hawk will be in the area of operation if  something goes south, get in postion everyone and take a radio, and a weapon, and remember, be safe

"We're not exactly from around these parts," Tartarus said in response to Butajiri's comment. "Not like you smell any better, hell, not even the Malebranche family of demons smell as bad as you."

Tartarus shifted his gaze towards the demon's sword once he had drawn it out. He growled slightly at it's metallic sound, mainly because he could feel the faint hum of some mysterious power coming from it.

"Really nice story, but it's too bad some of us HATE arrogant famous people."

The symbiote detected Weiss somewhere and alerted its host of the presence. Tartarus decided to stay a bit longer, but he would soon take off to attend the official's speech.

"I never agreed to anything'," was all he simply told the symbiote mentally.

"Oh!" Hirue exclaimed. "If you think the smell is bad, you should know that his name means..."

 

"We've already been over this. Say it and I'll end you." Butajiri said sharply. "Listen here, elf. You've been given an offer you cannot refuse. Some humans pay fortunes in order to summon the weakest of our race, and I am offering it for free." He sheathed his blade at his left side.

Shell returned to what he called home; a giant black widows nest inside an abandon factory. Nobody ever went near it, and if they bit Shell, they would die... most of the time. Shell never bothered them and they never bothered him, they bothered themselves. "Kind girl never told me her name... or did she? Stupid memory" he thought out loud. "Need to find constant source of money" he murmured to himself, "Can't keep going around stealing"

"We aren't ones to accept certain deals so quickly. While I can be bought at certain instances, it isn't something we allow so often," Tartaros growled as he prepared to leave. Turning to Butajiri, he decided to try and knock down the seemingly arrogant demon a few pegs."Also Pig's Rump, it isn't nice to continually threaten loyal followers, bad for the image of aspiring celebrity."Tartaros spun a strand of webbing and zipped out through a hole in the rooftop. He decided to head over to where Night Hawk had been seen earlier, await for the official's presentation to begin.

Fenyw still looked wary, and Eos glanced at her. "Almost time you left," she said, and Denyw looked suddenly furious.

 

"So this is how you treat your allies? Fine! I'll leave!" she snapped, and Eos sighed as she stormed off.

 

"So much drama you cause," she said dryly.

Eos looked thoughtful. "Well, I'd have to sleep on it. Being forced to revere you may not be something I want." She gave him a coy smile. "See, I prefer to work in the shadows, nice and quiet. You seem to make quite a ruckus. I also fail to see what I obtain at the end of this partnership. You get famous, but me? Not so much."

 

She looked briefly at Tartaros. "So are you in on my deal or not?" she added.

"Forgive me. I forgot to mention what you get from our agreement." Butajiri grabbed his sword by the hilt and pulled the grip and pummel apart. A pink, fleshy substance formed as an extention of the swords handle. A face formed inside the flesh, two empty eye sockets and a mouth. "You get comand over an endless army of the undead! Its called the Banshee Shriek, a rather lovely name for a sword, dont you think?"

every one in the base headed out through the sewer exit,  Night Hawk followed them, the rebels exited in various sewer exits and  hid themselfs around the area of operation, Night Hawk rested on one of the building roof tops he patroled around the area
