"King, are you sure you should be trusting this girl? I mean, we were just attacked by a group of whackos who shoot me in the face and then out of nowhere this random girl appears talking like she's from the 30's!"

*Sasha said to her friend.*

Eos sighed. "They're a form of ancient alphabet but are now used in religion and whatnot as symbols since each represents something. Wesley was able to use the power of a sealing rune combination to ensnare Illium in the cube and trap her there. However, he added Dagaz, the rune of night, day, and awakening, so she could be woken from her slumber by one of us when it was time. By using blood as a sacrifice I activated the matching cube and she's free. Understand?"

 

"Twenties, darling," corrected "Allison". "But I really must say I aged well, no?" She grinned at Alexander. "Really, just call me Allie."

"Being around humans must make you soft."The the third figure said before begining to lead Clay to the adress.

 

"Yes!" Clay exclaimed. "Theyve already fought once. Theyll be tired and helpless! Lets go Frey."

 

The two cloaked figures began to move, but Frey simply yawned. "I might be changin' me mind if its gonna be a fix like that." He said as he walked to the club. "Go with Maven. Im done here."

 

Clay, and the other, called Maven, made their way to the adress. The two cloaked figures stood outside the apartment door and knocked on it.

"Trouble's a brewin' here," said Illium cheerfully, seeing the malignant auras. "I oughta take my leave, then. You may all wanna get yaselves ready for a tussle, and don'tcha be takin' any wooden nickels, ya hear? I have some business elsewhere, so I'll catch up with ya later."

 

She flung open the door and neatly shut it, curtsying prettily to the two non-humans as she disappeared around the corner and onto the street, accidentally bumping into Damon.

 

"Well would ya look at me, struttin' bout like a dumb Dora. Scuse me, sir," she said with a winning smile.

"Tired and helpless..." Damon said with a slight chuckle as he walked back into the club. He went into the back room and shut the door. "Well, that went better than expected..." He said slightly surprised. He noticed Rufus with an Rpg in his hands, looking at it like a piece of candy. "Put that down before you blow the place up..." He said before walking out of the room and into the street. 

 

Someone ran into him on accident. "Oh it's no trouble really." He said adjusting his sunglasses back into place. He could tell something felt in-human about this girl. "Now I know two people with strong accents." He thought.

"Ah, now, don'tcha be saying that, doll. Really, was my fault, shoulda been looking where I was going, right?"

She instantly detected he was a demon-explained the sunglasses-and noted he had a bit of a cautious aura. She would have to BS her way out.

"Well, be seeing ya, mister," she said, going to move around him and touching his shoulder in a flirty manner, flicking her hair perfectly as she smiled at him.

Damon would of just let her go, but something made him talk further. "Where ya going? I could give you a ride if you want?" He asked. Not sure what her answer would be at all, but she really did seem like should would need a ride. 

 

Rufus whimpered as he placed the Rpg back into it's crate with the rest of the weapons.

Frey sat down at the clubs bar. Mavin was carying all of his groups money, soI he couldnt order anything. He removed his robe completely. "Damn fools those two." He said.

 

 

 

Maven knocked on the apartment door again.

 

 

 

"Do you know where this friend of yours is now?" Butajiri asked.

Illium stopped and turned around, putting her hands on her narrow hips and smiling.

"My momma always told me not tah take rides with strangers," she said, approaching him slowly. "You ain't half bad, though...maybe we should go out for some coffee or something." She ducked her head shyly and blushed cutely under her hair. "That is if a handsome devil like ya would even be seen with me."

 

"No tracker; Gwen doesn't know about her," said Eos. "She'll probably come soon, though."

"Fair enough, we can get some coffee today or tomorrow, since you got yourself something to do now. Then I suppose I won't be a stranger anymore." He chuckled. But kept himself somewhat cautious. Something about this girl seemed too nice to be entirely true. "It would be delightful to be seen with you." He added.

Frey got up from his seat and walked back outside the club, wearing his white pants and partial shirt, expecting only to see Damon, but he saw him with some girl he had never seen. He whistled. "Well now, aint you the lucky one?" He joked. "What a catch, or so Id say!"

After Night Hawk and Tartarus had finished dealing with the majority of deployed soldiers, Tartarus had slipped away from Night to go and check out the place he was originally going towards, the latest bombing site. It may have seen strange to go and run into another possible fight after a recent conflict, but the troops the symbiote had feasted on provided him with more strength. Tartarus took care to avoid the fresh soldiers that had been deployed now, and made it to the site quickly as he could. When he arrived, he noticed an interesting feature among the destruction, bubbling remnants of what used to be bodies.

"Is it-," Tartarus began to say, thinking of his old symbiote nemesis, but quickly dismissed it when he realized that the bodies had been reduced to their state by a curious poison, not acid. 

"<Ah, it must be that rat eater from before, she did smell an awful like this stuff,>" the symbiote hissed.

"Plus the bombing, then obviously."

Tartarus searched for any survivors, and then went on to search for the culprit whom he hoped was still nearby.

"Awwe, well, she can wait," said Illium airily. The cautious aura remained and she decided to try ditzy. She reached out as if to shake hands and stumbled off the curb, grabbing his shoulder for support.

"Sorry, babe, bit of a ditz," she cuckled drily. "So who are ya? New in town, see."

 

(OoC: It was acid. She can use both.)

 

Carullo and Olivia neared the silently, and Carullo sensed the symbiote was near.

 

Meanwhile, a voice over head Tartaros said "Up here!" and a severed leg was dropped on his head.

"Oh, sorry, mind passing that back?" asked Gwen politely.

Tartaros grabbed the severed leg before it plopped onto his head, looked it over, and then decided it seemed rather untasteful...

"It doesn't smell fresh anymore," he growled as he threw it upwards and jumped over to her spot, yet kept a reasonable distance. He assessed her, but found that she wasn't really as different as when he first encountered her. Flicking his tongue, he sensed others of Eos's clan were approaching, though one seemed unfamiliar to him.

"So, another bombing eh? And now those things," he said pointing a claw towards the melted flesh. "Why, is all we want to ask.There's no purpose, apparently not even for your other allies."

"Damon Virtras, most people call me Danny though." He said helping her back to her feet as he palmed a hundred dollar bill at Frey with his free hand, sending a mental message of "Go get something nice at the bar." Before turning his attention back to Illium. "There is some sort of gourmet coffee shop a few blocks down, it's probably better than the usual ones I go to." He said

"I'm going to look for Gwen."Butajiri said. "I think Im done here."

 

He walked out of Eos' office and made his way to 'where the smoke rises.' Which he assumed to be the second bombing site.

 

 

 

Frey stood back and walked back into the bar. He had a small smile on his face, mostly because he was free from his group.

*Allie had left, and King seemed upset.*

"Damn, she was pretty hot."

*He mumbled.*

 

"As if you would even get anywhere with her."

*Sasha said.*

"You never do."

 

"Contrary to your beliefs, Sasha, I do not care forr sex very much."

 

*Thats when they heard a knocking on the door. Sasha facepalmed. She tried to ignore it, but the kocking continued.*

"Go away! We dont want any visitors right now!"

*Sasha yelled at them from inside, without opening the door.*

"Why?" laughed Gwen. "Why not? Because I can? Because I needed some new body parts? Who knows but Blue?" Her eyes had an unstable look to them. "Blue told me to do it, it's not my fault!"

 

The pair arrived at the site and Carullo groaned at the mention of "Blue". 

"Gwen, she isn't real, rememb-hey!"

He dodged a ball of acid that she had created half-heartedly.

 

Illium bopped her head in agreement and beamed. "Why, that sounds real nice," she said with a wide smile, and then curtisied. "Fine to meet ya, Damon. I'm Allison." 

 

Fenyw smiled. "Welcome to the neutrals, baby! We're in this to survive, our little family...neither rebels or government can stop us so who cares who it is?"

Louise wandered thru the city, constantly on the alert. She could sense strangeness around her; this city was not like the one she'd been in before and she wondered what was up and more importantly, if anyone could or would even tell her. She had recently learned from her mother that the man she had thought was her father was not, and after questioning her mother had admitted that her father could be found in this city, so Louise had come here to look for him.

Clay's voice yelled through the door. "Stupid son of a..." He kicked the door open, breaking one of its hinges in the process. He threw off his cloak. He was wearing white pants with a green belt. He had no shirt, and his body was covered in scars. He looked like one of those people who has so much muscle that it hinders their movement. "Not much of a challenge for me..." he said, eyeing Sasha. "I like that!"

 

 

 

Butajiri arrived at the outskirts of the bombsite, when he was overtaken with the feeling that something was wrong.

Gwen sensed his approach and laughed louder for no apparent reason. Carullo looked serious-he was the only one who knew what she was capable of-and readied himself, not noticing Butajiri's presence.

She suddenly darted off across the rooftops, seeming unhindered by her large bag.

"Just because we want information doesn't mean we support the rebels or government. We serve self-interest, and information is an expensive business." Fenyw crossed her arms. "Boss won't pass it off, though, too valuable for the rebels to know too."

Butajiri drew his sword and held it steadily in both hands. "I heard you laughing."he said. "Who's there?"

 

 

 

Frey had been enjoying himself at the nightclub for a short time before he became bored. "This just aint tense enough to keep my attention."he said to himself. "The wind here is stale. Not a thing to occupy a mind for more than a minute or two."
