*Lester nodded. He walked up to a door and opened it with a key Sasha had given him. The two of them entered and went down into the meeting room and saw the rebel leaders, as well as the Sashiilians sitting and standing around looking upset. But there was no Sasha.*

"Hey!"

*Lester went up to Rocketeer.*

"Where is Sasha? She's in danger!"

"Yeah? And who would that be?"

*King asked sullenly.*

*Anna felt the more ominous feeling and closed the DS, putting it into sleep mode. She quickly stored it in her deep pockets that also carried all kinds of items that she always had with her. She stood up and looked around, just now noticing that there was no power. She walked into another room and saw Hypno, carrying his huge scythe. She looked at him skeptically.*

"Yeah, the bathroom is over there. Go quickly, okay? I was gonna shower soon."

The Rocketeer looked up at lester "i have no idea, ive searched the entire city and ive found no sign of her, im just as worried as you are, do you have any leads? im afriad of whats happened to her, and im afriad that in her current state she might be open to suggestion by her captors, but at the same time i just dont know, i am working on finding her, ive sent out an order to  report to me if anyone has any leads on her"

Hypno grinned "Thanks." He said with a twisted voice as he began to spin the sickle by the chain it's attached to. He stopped it abruptly as the mace end flew towards her and tangled between her legs. He pulled it back with force hoping to knock her over and drag her away.

Frey gritted his teeth. "Thas not good!"He said to Rocketeer. "Damn near hopeless if Maven found her, it is! Did you see a bald fellar? Brown eyes, black coat, anything like that?"

 

 

 

 

"Were leaving." Butajiri commanded.

 

"Aww, but I wanted to see the puppy!" Hirue wined.

 

"Butajiri sighed. "You can stand upside down with your thumb up your ass for all I care. Im going home."

 

"Yay!" Hirue cried as he ran back to the neutral base.

*Lester looked surprised.*

"You don't know where she  is? What happened? I knew something was going on! Tell me! What happened to her? I need to find her!"

*Lester pleaded with Rocketeer.*

*Anna was knocked off her feet. She landed hard and hit her head on the ground.*

"Ahh, you little cocksucker!"

*She said. She pulled a pistol out of where it was stored on her belt. (Lester had given it to her before he and Frey left.) She pointed the gun at Hypno's knee and fired. Anna's dad used to take her to a firing range, she practiced a lot, so she would never miss.*

Hypno slightly cringed, but then started to laugh, as if he enjoyed the pain. He tugged on the chain abruptly and pulled Anna over, grabbing the gun to keep it from firing as his eyes started to spin in a attempt to put her to sleep or at least in a trance. "Just ressst. I asssure you that no harm will be done to you if you just relax, don't make me hurt you..." He said with a oddly soothing voice

Illium stared at King. "If you don't wish for me to at least try to be kind, then I shall take my leave." She smoothed her skirt and rose neatly.

Gwen saw Hirue running along from her hiding place but she had sealed the door.

"Idiot..." she muttered, then tossed a smoke bomb and slipped further away.

"Oh, stop," pleaded Eos. "I'll give you whatever you want, just leave her alone."

She tried to focus enough to leave her body but when she was terrified her powers often failed her.

Frey became frustrated and gripped Rocketeer's collar (Assuming he's wearing a shirt...). "But have ya seen Maven? That's what's important, don't ya know?!" he demanded. "Bald man, brown eyes, black coat. Have. You. Seen. Him!?! Damn it! She could be dead right now, while we're flapping our gums!"

*King said.*

"Im sorry, please, tell me. Waking Kelly up is one of the kindest things you could do for me."

*King said to her desperately.*

"Her.... powers took control of her? That doesn't make any sense! How could that happen?"

*Lester said. This was bad, he needed to find Sasha.*

*Anna looked at Hypno.*

"What are you? Some kind of retard? You think Im gonna be relaxed when someone is trying to kidnap me? Thats a laugh. You must be out of your mind."

(Anna is an insomniac and hyperactive on a massive scale. Nothing can make her sleep or relax.)

The Rocketeer responded "no! i havnt seen a person like that! who  is that person? why is he a threat? ive never even heard of that person" turning to lester "yes...her powers are kind of at odds with each other, ive helped her keep on top of her powers and use them for good, but every now any then, especially in times of emotional termoil her shadow powers come out on top, im afraid that might of happened"

Illium shook her head and sighed.

"I don't wish to help someone who lacks respect," she said, a little snappishly. "You may be Alexander King, superstar extraordinare, and your sister may be in a coma, but trust me-you don't have it half as bad as some others in this town. You would do well to remember that."

"I know that. I know there are people who have it worse off than me."

*King said.*

"I've been there. Kelly fell into her coma as a result of the same accident that killed our parents. For a while, I was living in a foster home, and she was at a ratty little hospital that did nothing and charged exorbitant prices. It was not fun. I had to work two jobs, never sleeping, always working, trying to get my way through high school and collage while still paying the hospital bills. Those foster parents didn't care for me, and didn't care if Kelly died. After I was done with collage, I worked wherever I could, only taking breaks when my band and I had a gig. Eventually, we rose to fame, I didn't have to work as much, and I was able to move Kelly here."

*King explained.*

"I keep almost none of what I make, did you know that?"

*He said. Not matter of factly, but humbly.*

"Almost everything goes to the development of medical research, to try and find a cure for all sorts of deadly, but little known diseases. Its not what Kelly has, but no one really knows what's really wrong with her. I just don't want anyone to loose who they cherish. Like I did. Its not fun."

Frey stepped back from Rocketeer. "Maven is an old and powerful Yokai. We used to be in a sect together. Some human, and I dont know who, hired us to gather intell on powerful humans, demons, and Yokai in the city, and kill any of them that are a threat to pubIc safety, or that are affiliated with the rebels. Illium tried not to snort. She managed to keep a poker face.

"Well, the doctors didn't know about runes, now, did they?" she said. "Runes or those with the ability to possess bodies. But they both come at a high price, and one you must be willing to pay in full. If not, the deal is null."

"Then give me the Track girl." He said with a grin. He almost felt this was going too smoothly so far, he was suspicious so he started to take Gwen's advice and lock his body down from being controlled the best he can.

 

Hypno's voice twisted back. "Out of my mind is a understatement." He said as he instead started to drag her out of the house figuring his usual methods were not going to work..

*King asked.*

"I don't know what runes are, but I am willing to try whatever might help."

*King said, a bit of his determination back.*

*Anna said as she struggled to get on her feet. She then hobbled towards Hypno and jumped onto his back*

"I know I'm not getting out of this situation, so I may as well go with you, am I right?"

Hypno sighed and looked slightly uncomfortable as he walked out of the house now. Damon was on the brink of laughing as he noticed him walk out. "You gave the hostage a piggy back ride... You really are becoming harmless..." He said. "Not my fault... she jumped on me while I was dragging her out..." He complained back.

Suddenly Eos' face hardened.

"No," she said, and cast the struggling Torri a sympathetic glance.

"I cannot do that," she continued stubbornly. "Release Torri now, and I'll let you go intact."

Torri glanced up at Leon and mouthed "kill me".

Illium smiled slightly, then stepped out the door. Shortly after she returned with a tall, curly haired man in a patient's gown.

"I like the mental wards," he said as means of greeting. "The crazy make better friends than the sane."

Illium glanced at him. "He wants to wake up his sister."

"Ahhh, an awakening. Ambitious, and dangerous."

Leons face turned sour as black magic aura's from his hand started to attack the girl slightly, ready to kill her if Eos' made another movement. "Poor choice of words... And why's that?" He asked with a gruff voice. "The only thing that might not leave here intact is your friend right here."

Eos stepped forwards.

"You wouldn't kill a hostage; she's too valuable," she said, taking a few more steps until they were only feet away.

Torri struggled some more, making muffled noises. Her body movements seemed stiff and uncomfortable now.

"Let her go," said Eos quietly but firmly. "She's done nothing."

Hirue ran back to Butajiri, caughing and covered in smoke. "It wasn't a puppy, Butajiri." he huffed.

 

"And what have we learned?" Butajiri asked.

 

"That... Screaming noises that sound like puppies usually turn out to be military grade smoke bombs?"

 

"...that's actually better than I expected." Butajiri sighed. "Let's go back to the apartment and pretend the events of this week never happened."

"Not entirely valuable, I could easily find someone else after this..." He said as he decided to listen to the girl, hoping this was the right decision. A shard some sort of metal appeared in his hand with a grin, he shoved it into the girl's chest and twisted it enough to kill her. "I'll say it one last time, give me the Track girl..." He explained looking dead serious.

Torri's eyes opened wide and she looked down as though confused at her chest with the protruding piece of metal, then back up at Eos, who had turned completely white at this point. She then collapsed, her dark blonde hair falling perfectly straight around her shoulders as something red seeped across the carpet.

 

Eos had her hands closed into fists and was squeezing her eyes shut, and when they opened they were a much brighter green. She rushed at him incredibly quickly, slamming a dirk into his own stomach.

"NO!"

Leon didn't seem to cringe but still felt the pain, he grabbed her hand and slowly pulled out the dagger and shoved her back. "That got your attention didn't it?" He asked as he charged up a shot from his spellbook and fired it point blank at her to keep Eos at bay from using attacks. He started to charge another as soon at possible.
