Slicer happily skipped over and gave a muffin to both Cascade and Hypno. "Whatya talkin' about ?" He asked, biting into his own muffin.

 

 

"Well, nice to meet ya Cascade" He said before Slicer appeared. Hypno took the muffin, biting into it. "Just getting acquainted the first mate here" He explained after he swallowed. He leaned back and relaxed himself. "So what's the plan now cap'n? we gonna search for treasure?" He asked.

Treasure? Cascade couldn't remember the Asylum ever going to sea to look for treasure? No, they went to look for trouble, not treasure, usually. However, she held her silence and bit into the muffin Slicer had brought her. It wasn't bad. She half-closed her eyes as she chewed. She was really tired... And needed to take a swim.

Slicer bit into his muffin and nodded. "Yeph, There'sf thif *Gulp* Island on a map...Apparently a famous pirate called...Something to do with a hook...Andway, He buried some treasure and we will be the ones to find it." He grinned and ate some more of his muffin. *I don't like this new pony.* *Where have you been ?* *Right here...* *Oh. And yes, I know, You don't like anypony.* He thought.

 

When the mare let go of her Lila feel to the floor. Lila watched as the mare went up the stairs gesturing her to follow, but she stayed where she was for a second catching her breath and felt her heart beat begin to slow back to normal. Then she got to her feet and caught up, lagging behind slightly with her head low to avoid any stares from the crew.

Diamond walked into her room and was pleased to see two hot bowl's of soup sitting on the table. she sat down at one end and waited for Lila to sit at the other. "Now...Why were you exiled ?" She asked, placing a napkin on her lap.

Lila quickly followed suit and sat at the other end, placing a napkin in her lap as well. But when she was asked the question she held her tounge afraid that if this mare didnt like her answer she would throw her in the brig anyways. Lila looked down at the table as if she was thinking.

"Well that sounds like a start." He commented. "Does anypony else know that we might have to compete with here? Or is it only this ship that will be sailing out there?" He asked looking interested. He hadn't done anything adventure like for a long time now.

Lila quickly followed suit and sat at the other end, placing a napkin in her lap as well. But when she was asked the question she held her tounge afraid that if this mare didnt like her answer she would throw her in the brig anyways. Lila looked down at the table as if she was thinking.

 

"Let me make you a deal...If whatever happened is something that gets you thrown into the brig. You will get the best one and you will be fed the best of food. And if you're good, I will let you out during the day so you can wonder around the ship." She said, sipping her soup.

 

"Well that sounds like a start." He commented. "Does anypony else know that we might have to compete with here? Or is it only this ship that will be sailing out there?" He asked looking interested. He hadn't done anything adventure like for a long time now.

 

"Many ponies have attempted to find this treasure...But they have all failed. But I have a map...I got it off some drunk pony at the bar...I was the one who made him that drunk of course. Aaaanyway...we can and will find it. I promise you that." He said.

Thanks for the soup." with that Lila set the napkin on the table and walked out of the cabin without even touching the soup, and sat just ouside the door.

But i guess i could take you up on your offer." she said in saddened tone. "Well...That's it over there...So about twenty minutes." He said, pointing at a very very small dot on the horizon. Slicer laughed and smiled happily.

I want to know if we're close to what you guys call uncontseted waters." she asked still looking around.

Hypno looked over to where he pointed, squinting his eyes until he saw the dot. "Ah, Mkay." He said as he then turned away from the sea and back to the ship. He finished then finished his muffin and thought it was pretty good. He picked out the golden locket, and twirled it around to pass the time.

Im Lila Fireheart. Im sorry for acting that way, i guess im a little too confident for my own good." She finished putting on the last of the uniform.

Cascade's eyes, still half closed, had glazed over. She stood up, and slowly, ritualistically, made her way to the side of the ship, as if in a trance. ((Nothing to do with Hypno.)) She looked over the edge at the shark fins that were still visible in the water below. Dropping her half-eaten muffin, she crouched, as if preparing to jump.

Slicer walked over to Cascade and put a hoof on her shoulder. "Hey...You ok ?" He asked, looking into the water.

"I'm not going to force you to join me. We can part ways here and be done with it. But I could certainly use you if you want to become official crew members. After the mutiny, we lost a lot of good crew, and I can tell the two of you have a lot of talent. Spark, you could be my first mate, and maybe even co-captain. I need someone to help me lead the rest of the crew. And Storm, with Pirate Opal gone we could use a new lookout. I think you would be well-suited for it. Of course, you would both be free to leave at any time if you wanted to. You don't have to give me a definite decision now, but think about, please."

Cascade flinched, and looked wildly over her shoulder, blinking rapidly. "Wha?" She looked from the concerned looks on Slicer's and Hypno's faces, and then back forward, and slowly down to the sharks. She had absolutely no idea how she had gotten there. Retreating several steps from the edge of the boat, Cascade looked at Slicer, eyes momentarily wide with the confusion and terror she was trying so hard to suppress. "I... Um..."

"I would love to join your ship. I would like to be your first mate/co-captain." Spark said. At least now she had a permenate spot aboard a ship. "But Rambler... captain... sir.... II would like to pick up some things for the ship. To be specific, the thing I use to put out Drangon's Breath." Minath told Rambler. She preferred to stay abouve the water and not roasted alive.

Rambler nodded. He wasn't about to say no to something that could give his ship an edge.

 

"Of course, there's just one problem. Don't call me Captain and never call me sir. I don't want you to start thinking I'm above you or something. I make the final calls, but I want everyone to be treated as an equal."

 

He tossed her a bag full of bits and started to walking away before turning back to her.

 

"And one other thing: welcome to the crew, miss."

"That's not problem. GRIGOR." She yelled, a large earth pony quickly ran over and saluted Diamond. "You are going to show Lila how everything works around here, got it ?" She said.

The pony nodded. "Yes Captain Light."

Diamond gave Lila a small nod before trotting off to her room.

Lila smiled at the new pony unsure of how to start things off. "Umm, hi. So i guess ill let you show the way then." she said stepping to the side to allow the pony to give her directions.

Slicer gave Cascade a worried look. "Are you alright Sugar Bean ? You looked almost as if you wanted to jump." He said. *Ugh...You should have pushed her in.* *Ignoring you.* He thought, taking a step towards Cascade. "Were you hypnotized or something...Hypnotized...Hypno...You didn't do this did you ?" He asked, Looking over at Hypno with a suspicious look.

Hypno was slightly concerned, but shrugged it off for now unless it got worse. He still twirled around the locket, trying to figure out if he knew what was wrong, but couldn't put his hoof on it. He's seen worse that what he just saw and some of it what himself doing it so he didn't what to say much about it.

 

Hypno put his hooves up at what Slicer said. "My hooves are clean, I promise." He said as the locket still swirled by the chain around one of his hooves.
