"Yeah, maybe i can share sum' charity time with Kites" he said laughing. "I wanna' know ya' more" he said turning his attention to Kites.

"I wanna' know ya' more. I wanna' share some time with ya', our dinner was ruined and well that makes for it, a' think, righto?" he said.

Starshy swallowed, breathing out. "I wanted to apologize to you....for earlier. I did have some feelings for you...you were so nice to me when we first met. I'm sorry if I hurt you. I was just confused..."

He was completely silent when she explained her actions to him. So she had also felt something for him as well? Now he really felt bad for leaving so abruptly but what was done was done. Starshy already had a special somepony and it wasn't him, and vica versa. She seemed to accept that as did he.

 

"After everything that has happened I knew I couldn't avoid you anymore...it wouldn't be right and it's not like me to do that." She looked up at him then. "I hope that we can be friends, Chocolate. You are a good stallion and you deserve to be happy with your new marefriend."

He felt pangs of guilt again, it really hurt the huge stallion to see mares any distraught or in pain. And she looked like she could use something, anything from him. But once again, he was never one for words as much as he was action. He wrapped a large hoof around her and pulled her in for a friendly hug. "Thank you, Starshy. I would love to be your friend." He said feeling their friendship was restored once more.

 

He didn't appear to be uncomfortable around her anymore and he eased up a little. "Whenever you have the chance, I'd love it if you could introduce me to your stallion friend. But for now, I have a date as I am certain you do as well." He noticed her brand new cutie mark and smiled approvingly at her. "Congratulations." He said softly. "Let's talk and again very soon." He bowed and made his way back to Blazing Storm.

Starshy smiled to herself, feeling as if a weight had been lifted from her back. She watched him go for a moment and then turned the opposite direction to head back to the main lobby to the elevators where Storm was waiting.

 

She approched him and stood by him once again, learning in a bit to give his cheek a kiss. "Thank you for waiting, Storm. I had to speak with Chocolate."

Storm was getting better at not blushing. Nevertheless, his cheeks took on a red tinge as Starshy kissed his cheeks. "Did your talk go well? Those...issues couldn't have been easy to discuss." He gave her a mild look of concern and then turned to press the elevator button (the Celestia damned thing had closed while he had spaced out). A soft 'ding' announced its arrival, the doors parted, and the couple stepped inside. Gears whirred, and the elevator began its ascent.

She stepped into the elevator with him. "Yeah, I think so. " She looked at him. "I'll be honest with you, Storm. I had feelings for Chocolate....sure they weren't big or anything. I had just met him on the train. I felt comfortable with him." She sighed. "Anyway, that mess is over now. He has someone else that he is with and I've got you. We are just going to be good friends."

"Well I'm glad to hear you resolved it. I could kinda tell you had feelings for Chocolate, what with all the flirting you two did at the beginning of the vacation." he said, a tiny bit of humor in his voice. " and I'm glad he's found someone but, between you and me, I think I'm the luckier stallion." He leaned over and nuzzled her affectionately.

Starchy blushed and nuzzled him back. The elevator door sounded and she trotted out (assuming he is going to follow) and headed for her room. She used her hotel key (that she kept in her saddle bag) to open the door.

 

Once she was in the room, the door shut on its own. She turned to face Storm, smiling at him.

 

Starchy lifted her hoof, brushing it into his mane.

"Looks like you can move your wings again." He said with a small smile motioning to her wings with his head. He held his hoof to her offering to walk her to the dining area. "I believed I promised you a free hot meal. After all a pegasus has to eat to keep their energy up, right?" He asked winking to her.

 

Blazing nodded to him and started to walk to the dining area. "I think a hot soup would be nice!" she said to him still blushing. The way he had kissed her back and then his arms wrapped around her... the moment was just magical. She grinned and was all up to some energy and she flapped exciting with her wings a bit. But then a mare started to talk to Chocolate. Blaze turned around and got sight of a gorgeous and beautiful unicorn mare.

 

 

" Uh, Chocolate... I'm sorry to bother you but I talk to you for a minute? " Her ears flattened.

 

"Please excuse me for a moment." He said to Blaze before stepping off to the side with the unicorn mare.

 

"Um... yeah, ok..." she responded to Chocolate. It seemed to be important to speak to her in private. Was this a friend of Chocolate? Or perhaps an ex girlfriend? She didn´t know so she didn´t loose too many thoughts about it. She sat down and waited for him. Blaze was watching them and it seemed they had to discuss something. After a while Chocolate hugged her and they parted. As he arrived, she continued to walk with him to the dinning area. He made a friendly expression on her face and looked to him. He didn´t have to explain anything to her, that was private what they were talking about. If he wanted Blazing to know her, he would introduce her sooner or later. She flapped with her wings a bit, lifting herself from the ground just high enough to be on the same eye height as he was. "So that is how you see everything huh?" she giggled to him.

Storms heart began to race as Starshy brushed his mane. He leaned forward and kissed her, putting as much emotion into it as he could muster. Eventually, due to the unfortunate need for oxygen, he broke off the kiss. A lopsided grin appeared on his face. "Did I mention you're a great kisser?" In truth, Storm had kissed exactly zero other ponies in his life, but he figured it was right thing to say because considering Starshy nearly blew his metaphorical socks off every time their lips touched.

Starshy didn't think she'd ever get tired of kissing Storm. It just felt so nice and made her feel all warm inside. She grinned at his comment. " Thank you, so are you. " She said, leading him over to the bed. An understandable blush covered her face. " Well, before we sleep I thought maybe we could cuddle a bit..  " She got herself onto the bed, patting the space next to her.

"Sounds good to me!" Storm replied enthusiastically. He hopped onto the bed with a little to much force, causing both of the ponies to bounce a little bit. "oh, uh, sorry." He gave her an embarrassed grin and wrapped a wing around her, pulling her close. He snuggled up against her soft fur, her smell reminding him of summer and happiness and everything that made life good. Look at me, turning into a sentimental softie. He almost let out a snort but reigned it in at the last second. Storm stroked Starshy's mane gently. Letting his mind wander, he realized there was only one way he could sum up his experiences so far.

 

Best. Vacation. Ever.

Mask and Night Song at last arrived at the hotel after a pleasant walk (In Mask's opinion, at least). Mask opened the double doors to find that the lobby was only marginally warmer than the outside. Mask suddenly remembered the arctic coat that he had packed, but forgotten to take. "Oh! I need to go get something from my room. I'll be right back, unless you want to come with" Mask said beginning to walk toward the stairs.

At the mention of the fact that Mask had forgotten something, Night Song remembered something she forgot as well. "I have to go to my room as well. I have a winter jacket and I totally forgot to bring it!" she said with a hint of laughter at her own memory lapse. With that, went up the stairs and into her room. She later came out with a jacket that was an even darker shade of blue than her coat.

Starshy closed her eyes, still in slight awe that she had herself a coltfriend. This was something she had been thinking about when she was on the train, so many hours ago. " I... love you.. " Starshy whispered softly, before she then drifted off to sleep in his embrace.

Snowdream watched as he took flight, leaving her in the lobby. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she never did end up having her daisy sandwich she had ordered before.

 

River returned into the lobby saying he couldn't find Sarah, but suggesting that they should get some food.

 

"I think getting something to eat is an excellent idea!" She agreed

"Well zen madame le Snow" he spoke in a fake French accent, "may I offer you tu come with me to the ze finest cuisine in all of this lot?" he offered his hoof. He liked being the funny guy, and even more-so the funny and fun-loving coltfriend, if anything he should be surprised he hadn't cracked any jokes yet.

Storm had so much he wanted to say. He wanted to tell Starshy how much she meant to him. He wanted her to realized just how beautiful he thought she was and how he wished moments like this could last forever. He wanted to tell her how alive he felt whenever she was near and the warm feelings he got just by looking at her. "I love you too, Starshy...a lot." He kissed her on the forehead gently and, resting his head on the pillow, slowly nodded of to sleep.

Snowdream burst out laughing. She tried to contain her laughter as several ponies nearby gave her strange looks. She took Rivers out stretched hoof and kissed him on the cheek, blushing a little.

 

'Why am I even blushing? If I'm gonna have a colt friend, I need to get used to kissing!' She thought.

His hoof was shaking as he inserted the key into the door's lock, despite the fact that it was quite warm on the higher floors of the hotel. When he got into his room, Mask opened his suitcase and pulled out his large, puffy, white arctic coat. ((for reference http://www.ics-base.net/css_skins/img/gsg9_arctic_a.jpg Obviously not the SWAT one, and obviously without ADMIN written on it)) It was far to warm to wear on the upper levels of the building, so Mask carried it on his way back down to the lobby. Mask looked around for Night Song, but couldn't find her. Weather it was because she hadn't come downstairs yet, or because she had left, Mask didn't know. Well, he didn't have anything else to do, so he sat down and waited.

When the large brown stallion returned to Blazing's side he carried a smile. "I believe we were due for a hot soup?" he asked rejoining her side. "That was Starshy, she is a friend of mine. I'll be sure to introduce you two sometime." The large stallion seemed lighter on his hoofs. He had restored a friendship and gained and even greater relationship with Blazing Storm, one which he hoped would continue to blossom. He still couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her. While the two walked he could hear the fluttering of wings and soon the mare was flying up by him.

 

She flapped with her wings a bit, lifting herself from the ground just high enough to be on the same eye height as he was. "So that is how you see everything huh?" she giggled to him.

He glanced over to her seeing her fluttering off the floor up to his height. He wasn't able to fight back a soft deep chuckle as he shook his head at the mare's silly antics. He always found that cute about her. "Mhmmm, more or less. I'd imagine you've seen things no other pony has seen with those amazing wings of yours." He said complimenting her once again. He bit his lip when he thought about what would happen once the snow was cleared from the blizzard and they all left the resort. He would go back to the farms and mines and she would go back home as well. Would he ever be able to see her again?

 

He snapped away from the thoughts as they entered the dining area once more and the waiters instantly recognized them, well, Blazing Storm anyway. She had eaten so much they couldn't forget her.  "The usual table" Chocolate said to one. When they were seated he treated the pegasus to anything she wanted to order. He had made so much money working down in the mines that he never really got to spend it all. While she ate he lightly sipped some water from a straw and spoke to her again. "Did you have any plans tonight? I was thinking maybe you could spend the night with me if you weren't busy."

Snowdream burst out laughing. She tried to contain her laughter as several ponies nearby gave her strange looks. She took Rivers out stretched hoof and kissed him on the cheek, blushing a little.

River saw her little blush, and an idea struck him. He took Snowdream in by her hoof and kissed her full-on. Being almost entirely an inexperienced kisser, he wasn't quite sure how to do it, but Snowdream let him on, he followed most of her actions while they were kissing. Drawing out the moment, he felt her mane a little bit, it was not what he expected, not very soft, but not very dry either, just kind-of... nice-feeling. He broke off from her seconds later, and looked deep into her eyes, just for a second, then turning his look towards the restaurant of the resort.

 

"Ah! There it is, come on, let's get some grub" he said, and began walking towards the restaurant.

Kites giggled at the memory of the ruined dinner. "Yeah... I do think that probably was the most chaotic meal I have ever had." She thought for a second resting her chin on her hoof. "Actually, second most chaotic, sorry Cracker." She teased playfully. "So, for spending time together... Did you have any particular ideas? Honestly the hot tub sounds nice to me!"

"Oh, honey i'm sorry if a' sound really boring to you, but that little nap didn't help at all and a'm very tired. Do you want to come to mah' room?" he said with his eyes almost closed, he was really feeling tired.

He then grabbed her hoof and kissed, in a sign of gentle.

Kites giggled. "Of course we can go to bed, I ment tomorrow for the bonding time. Anyway, everthing is closed right now I bet, it's like, four in the morning, about." Kites realized she hadn't seen a clock this entire time. She blushed as Cracker kissed her hoof. She looked over to Rocket. "W-Well, good night!" She stood up and grabbed Craker's hoof and trotted over to the elevator. She pressed the button and got inside. She leaned her head on Cracker tiredly. "Ugh, I didn't notice how tired I was until you mentioned being tired." She said, her eyes drifting shut sleepily.

Cracker yawned, once inside the elevator. Once they arrived to the floor, it seemed Kites was already asleep. He grabbed her and walked to his room. He dropped her on the bed and then laid besides her, cuddling with her. He then gave her a little genlte kiss on her cheek before falling asleep.

Kites smiled sleepily as she was lifted onto Cracker's back. He was so strong, and she felt safer with him than any other pony she had ever met. She felt herself being genlty placed onto the bed. She sighed happily as he snuggled up to her and kissed her. She lay there watching the celing until Cracker's breaths were slow and even. She then fell into a deep well-needed sleep.
