She smiled back at him.

 

'We'll make something work.' She thought to herself.

 

Yawning she rolled off River and onto the bed. She didn't realize she was even tired until her head touched the soft pillow. After a Huge yawn she rolled over so she could see River. Her eyelids started to get heavy and keeping them open seemed to be a battle. Surrendering any effirts of trying to stay awake she let her eyes close and her breathing steady. Sleep took her instantly.

"Good night my Snow angel" River was also really tired, so he decided he should go to sleep as well, tomorrow will be a big day for them, they can do what they planned on before the storm hit, play in the snow, ski, have make-out sessions outside, all of those.

 

He closed his eyes, rolled on his side, and fell asleep.

"I don't remember much. I was just a little filly back then," she said. "I do remember there being too much noise and very little space," she tried to recall. "But that's all," she said. "Did you live anywhere else other than Ponyville? Or visit others towns and cities in Equestria?" she asked with slightly chattering teeth.

"No, this is, uh... this is the first time I've left Ponyville..." Mask said, glancing at his hooves, as if embarrassed. Mask looked of into the distance to see the restaurant, but he couldn't see it yet. "I used to live in a suburb, but when I moved out of my parent's house, I moved to some condo in the middle of town. What's more, some alien conspiracist lives upstairs, so while I would like to be sleeping, I'm hearing about hands and feet and any other made up appendage she's giving the creatures and decided to wait until 2:00 AM to tell her roommate." Mask said irritably.

" Oh, I'm sorry Storm. I was just thinking about if you two met that I'd hope it would go over smoothly. " She said, but she could see he looked nervous at one point. " Don't you worry though. I'm not regretting being with you. I could never think that, you are wonderful. " Starshy smiled hoping to ease his worries as well and placed her hoof atop his. There wasn't anything she could do. Chocolate was with someone else and she certainly wasn't going to step in and try to change that - what kind of mare would she be then, especially since she had a great coltfriend right in front of her. No, Starshy just wanted to be friends with him.

"Oh, I wasn't worried. Just a little..nervous. Oh, look! Here comes our waffles!" Storm silently thanked Celestia for the waiter's impeccable timing. He wasn't worried anymore but he still didn't want to admit that he had been. "Wow, these look really good." He began digging into the waffles and found that their taste matched their looks. "So what do you wanna do after this?" He said between bites of waffle.

Starshy began to eat her waffles, levitating the folk and butter knife to cut a piece and then bring the folk to her muzzle. She chewed, savoring the taste. It was amazingly delicious, given the waffles were the first thing she had eaten in a while.

 

She thought about Storm's question, knowing he was changing the subject but she didn't mind. "We could go out and explore around outside or go back to my room..." She grinned a bit.

Rocket woke up to a knock on his door. "eugggh I wonder what that could be" he mumbled. he went to the door and opened it. sitting on the ground was a gift basket. he smiled and read the note attached to it.

(wow) rocket thought (these ponies knew I would ask if my friends received one too, am I that predictable?) he grabbed the gift basket and set it on the table, then he went back to bed.

Snowdream opened her eyes, yawning. She got up from the bed and quietly stumbled over to the bathroom.

 

She turned on the water and splashed it on her face.

 

She heard a knock at the door, so she left the bathroom and trotted towards the door.

 

'I wonder who that could be...' She thought.

She opened the door and to her surprise there was a gift basket with her name on it.

 

'Huh? What's this?' She thought. She read the note attached.

 

Dear Snowdream,

Thankyou for helping to get everypony safe during the blizzard. We are very great full for your help. Please accept this token of our gratitude.

 

She brought it inside her room and placed it on the dresser to look at later.

He looked down to her as she laid on the bed before him and nodded silently. There would be no arguing with the energetic and spirited mare, not that he wanted to. "Likewise, I hope you know what you are getting yourself into." He said finally laying in the bed next to her and sliding under the covers with her. He kissed her once more and put his arm around her side and nuzzled her. "Sleep tight, Blaze..." Time went on and the two shared shared a romantic night together with her warmly embraced in his arms until morning.

 

Blaze enjoyed her evening together with Chocolate as they had a very romantic night. It was like a dream that never ended. But it did as they went to sleep in the middle of the night. As Blaze opened her eyes, she was not in her room and looked around. She looked to her side and got sight of the giant stallion who was sleeping in the same bed. At first she was a bit confused, realizing what had happened. Then she remembered the night and started to grin. She layed down again, enjoying to see Chocolate sleeping that calm. She giggled a bit and played softly with his mane. "Hey big guy.. time to wake up soon..." she nearly sung into his ear with a very melodic voice.

"Let's go back to your room. I don't think I'd be able to walk around town anyway, considering how many waffles I ate." He let out a little a laugh at his (mostly) joke. "Excuse me, waiter? I'd like the check please."

 

"Of course, sir. Right away."

 

Storm fished a few bits out of his saddle bag. A moment later the check arrived. "Wow, they certainly proud of their waffles." He placed a couple more bits on the table. Stupid, delicious waffles. "Well, now that that's all taken care of? Shall we?" He gestured in the direction of the lodge.

Chocolate slept soundly and peacefully for the remainder of the night after their time together. He hadn't sleep like this in a while, having been worn out from their trip in the snow and everything else. The normally very serious stallion had a very gentle look about him when he slept and kept his arms around Blaze even after she had woken up. Seemed the large stallion had a very affectionate side as well.

She giggled a bit and played softly with his mane. "Hey big guy.. time to wake up soon..." she nearly sung into his ear with a very melodic voice.

His ears perked when he heard her soft beautiful voice and he opened one eye, seeing Blaze's cute face as he stirred. "Mmm... good morning, Blaze." He said as he gave her a soft smile. He rubbed his eyes with his darkened hoofs and saw it was indeed morning already. "Sleep well?" He asked already knowing the answer. He nuzzled her softly and yawned. Soon he felt a crick in his back and he grunted, sharing a bed with a mare was hard on him. "I'm going to guess you are wanting a big breakfast this morning?" He asked as he idly played with the mares ears.

"Oh, yeah. The whole 'unicorn' thing. I forgot." Embarrassed, he blushed a little bit. "I'll put that on my list of priorities; 'remember the type of pony my marefriend is."

"Of course... deeply after that exhausting day...." she grinned and looked into the sleepy stallions eyes. It just looked cute seeing him like that, his mane a bit tousled. She thought about it, maybe she looked tousled too?

 

 

"I'm going to guess you are wanting a big breakfast this morning?" He asked as he idly played with the mares ears.

 

"You like doing that huh?" the red pegasus said while he was playing with her ears. "Yes, i would love a very very very big breakfast. I am nearly starving and i want to get some strength back!" Blaze started to stretch her body a bit, spreading her wings. She tried to get out of the bed but was still weak on her legs. The pegasus stumbled a bit through the room, leaning against a chair, with shivering legs. "Ah... i think i am really exhausted after all..." she said to Chocolate. "I am in the bathroom for a while..." Blaze said while she continued her journey to the bathroom. She finally managed to get there and went into the shower, setting the water to hot. That was something she needed now and she enjoyed the water flowing down her mane and body. Like Chocolate said she would need a very big breakfast to gain her strength back

Starshy giggled. " I forgive you. You are too cute for me to get upset at. " She gave his cheek a small kiss. " Now close your eyes and we'll be back at my hotel room in a flash. " She said, as her unicorn horn began to glow. In a flash of pink light, they were transported back to her room, or at least outside of it.

 

Starshy continued to use her magic to leivate her card and slide it in to open the door. Once she trotted inside, she glanced at Storm and then back around the room. She didn't know quiet what to do from here, as she let go of his hoof. " So.. um, want to watch a movie? "

The stallion was unaware of how he looked and seemed a bit flustered as she gazed back into his eyes.

"Of course... deeply after that exhausting day...." she grinned and looked into the sleepy stallions eyes. 

 He laughed deeply to himself and smiled knowingly. "Mhmmm." He watched as she got up out of bed and stumbled on her shaky legs. He would have gotten out of bed to help her if he hadn't been so sore himself. "Don't push yourself too hard." He warned to her watching as she made way to the bathroom.
 

"Ah... i think i am really exhausted after all..." she said to Chocolate. "I am in the bathroom for a while...

"Take your time." The stallion said finally rising up out of bed. He groaned a bit as he stretched trying to get rid of the sore feeling in his legs and body. After all he had to get ready for breakfast as well. He stood on the floor and heard running water from the bathroom. Taking heavy trots towards the dining area he would wait for her to finish her shower before going down with her to the public dining area facility.

"Good morning sunshine" he said. There's a saying where he comes from that says "call someone 'Sunshine' and he'll smile".

"What's in the basket?" he asked. Even though he could see some stuff that was in it, he wanted to know for some reason.

"I will try it..." she said out of the bathroom while she was flooded in water within the shower. Blaze sat down in the shower and just let the water rain down on her body. She loved the heat and started to wash her mane with the shower gel. It took her about half an hour regain some strength in her legs. After the shower she got dry again and comb her mane and tail again. Of course it still looked wild like a fireball, but that was something she had since she was a little filly. She got out of the shower after a while and looked in the main room where Chocolate was. Had he gone to the dining hall already?

"As for my home in Manehatten, it was a fancy apartment, but nothing first-class," she continued to say before stepping into the restaurant.

"Well now we have a basket, now all we need is food..."
