"Oh thank ya' mate! I'm sorry for the trouble i caused, i should have never invited you to the expedition, infact no one should have gone. I'll see ya' later ok? I'm gonna' say 'hi' to Starshy and thank her!" he said smiling.

 

Cracker approached Starshy, she was talking to a stallion, he didn't want to be rude but he wanted to thank her.

"Hey Startshy! Thank you for curing my hoof, and i'm happy you got your cutie mark!" he whispered smiling, then he got away, he didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

 

Cracker walked back to Rocket Blast. "Hey, pal, what we gonna' do now? There is sum' power luckily!".

Cracker walked back to Rocket Blast. "Hey, pal, what we gonna' do now? There is sum' power luckily!".

Rocket thought. "is the generator set up yet?" he asked, he brought in that huge bulk of a machine, he sure hoped it would get used, "if it isn't we should probably set it up..... minus the fact I have no clue how to." then he came up with another thing, "first things first, I could use some cider" he said with a chuckle.

"Yeah mate, i think they set it up already, no need to worries...And yeah letsa' get sum' cider!" he said chuckling. Cracker trotted to the restaurant and ordered two bottles of the best ciders, he wanted to share a good one with his friend.

Then he walked back with the two ciders. "Hey, this is for one helluva' Holiday ok?" he said laughing while he handed (or hoofed? which one fits?) his friend the cider.

Starshy briefly knowledged Cracker Jack's voice and him thanking her. He was gone before she knew it though. She had been leaning on Storm, attempting to not fall asleep but somehow did a little bit anyway. She seemed to make herself wake up. When she had turned to face the lobby, she saw Chocolate and his kiss with his new marefriend. She felt something strange watching it - but quickly turned away. No, she wasn't not going to think about that now - not after getting her cutie mark. This was no time to be sad - or whaterver it was. But she couldn't keep avoiding him forever either. No, this has to stop or I'm not going to enjoy the rest of my vacation.

 

" Storm, I'll be right back. " She said to him, and went over to where Chocolate was. She was cautious however, making sure there was a safe distance between them. " Uh, Chocolate... I'm sorry to bother you but I talk to you for a minute? " Her ears flattened.

"yea, heres to, hopefully, good luck and fun times from here on out" he said for a cheer. he took a long drink of cider. "so how is kites now? you guys had me worried when I got back here first" he said, taking another long sip from what he thought was the best cider he had ever had.

"Ummm, dun' know pal! Haven't seen her in awhile, and that got me quite worried ya' know? I'll search for her later, i hope she is ok." Cracker said worried, yet he was pleased, that cider was one of the best things he had ever tasted, maybe that's why it was that expensive.

"Oh hey that's right, I don't even know where you're from" replied River with a light tone, "Okay then, let's go find Sarah" he said. River was certain he already knew everything he needed to about Snowdream, but once again, as had happened to him before, he was rushing into falling in love, not even knowing anything significant about his marefriend. But did he need to? he wouldn't know, he's never even had a marefriend before, even though he thought he had fallen in love before, it wasn't what he thought it would be.

 

"Alright, stay here for a sec, I'll find Sarah" he said to Snowdream. River assumed Sarah is still on ground level, so to travel faster he took flight. Dashing out of the lobby, he flew to the den, the entrance, the bathrooms, but he couldn't find his sister anywhere, not on ground level at least.

 

'Let's think, if I were my sister, where would I be? ...Probably with somepony else' he came up with an answer. River came back over to Snowdream in the lobby. He landed next to her.

 

"Well, I didn't manage to find her, but I'm sure she's okay, I'll search for her maybe later" he said and shrugged, "so do you want to go grab something to eat together?" he asked Snowdream.

Snowdream watched as he took flight, leaving her in the lobby. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she never did end up having her daisy sandwich she had ordered before.

 

River returned into the lobby saying he couldn't find Sarah, but suggesting that they should get some food.

 

"I think getting something to eat is an excellent idea!" She agreed

Rocket took another drink, "gosh,i wish I could find a mare for me, I just have bad luck with relationships though" he said. rocket looked around the room and smiled, a few minutes ago, it looked like a war zone in the lobby. now it was full of a bunch of smiling ponies. heck, he almost died a few hours ago, now he was drinking with his best friend here.

I luckily got along with Kites Breeze but a' rarely get along with mares, it seems that my hillbilly style isn't so popular or pretty at all a' guess." he said smiling, it was a miracle he was alive, his leg broke in the middle of nowhere, yet he is now warm and inside the lodge. "Cheers!" he said laughing.

"Hehe, thank ya' mate!" he said smiling, he was a true friend. He shaked his fellow friend's hoof, he also hadn't have a cider with a friend in like... he had never a cider with a friend! In fact, maybe he was his first real friend.

Rocket was touched by this. he met this pony only today, but he just was told that he was his first true friend. "well im glad I could be" was all he could think of saying. then he thought of a good idea. "hey, you should go try to find Kites. we all could use some drinks  after tonight. haha"

"Heh, yeah i will, thank ya' pal!" Cracker Jack said as he trotted away.

"Now, where is this elusive mare?" he thought to himself, he could never find Kites when he wanted, only accidentally.

Cracker saw Kites asleep on a couch, he slowly walked to her and whispered next to her ear "Hiya cutie! How have ya' been?"

Kites jumped slightly then grinned. "Hey Cracker! Your leg feeling better already? I know I feel a bit better already myself, I am a bit thirsty though!" She sat up and stretched a bit. She then noticed it was still dark out. "Well dang, this is the longest bucking night ever, are you sure Luna isn't messing with us or something?" Kites joked.

As Cracker left rocket was extremely happy, e thought about what he had just survived he looked to the sky, "what did you say jet? I would never make it? well guess what jet? I did something you could have never done, I saved random ponies because it was right, and I survived the cold, I did something you would have never done." at this point he was almost shouting "Im better than you Jet! Im Better than you!!!!!"

"Yes ma'am, Starshy cured it, it's completely cured. And come with me and Rocket, we can have a cider the three of us,mkay'?" he said laughing at her joke.

He then offered her a hoof to go with him, he was really charmed by this mare, she was really cute and gentle.

Kites took his hoof and stood up. "Aww heck yes! I love cider! What kind is it?" She grinned and trotted after Cracker excitedly. She hadn't had cider in forever, and it was her favorite drink, especially apple cider, especially AppleJack's apple cider. She was so glad she had friends to share it with to, because what fun is drinking cider by yourself anyway?

As Chocolate and Blazing Storm were trotting through the lobby towards the dining area he heard a familiar voice from behind him. He turned in place to see Starshy, she appeared nervous and looked like she wanted to talk to him. 

She was cautious however, making sure there was a safe distance between them. " Uh, Chocolate... I'm sorry to bother you but I talk to you for a minute? " Her ears flattened.

 

He looked a bit confused and a bit surprised when he saw her, was she afraid of him? The expression on her face told a different story however and he knew it was probably important. He looked down to Blazing Storm and then back to her as he nodded silently. "Please excuse me for a moment." He said to Blaze before stepping off to the side with the unicorn mare. 

 

He stood up straight and gazed down on her as they settled in a spot off to the side where they could speak in private. He seemed to carry a longing expression on his face. After all, she had been the first mare he had spoken to when they arrived and he had harbored feelings for her during the short time they had been together. Though he felt as if he had blown his chances with her during dinner. He finally spoke up while his tail moved behind him. "You wanted to talk to me, Starshy?"

"Hey Kites, wait here with Rocket ok? I'll get the cider." he said as he walked again to the restaurant, he was really short of bits now, but he thought about his friend and Kites and he knew they deserved the best. He bought once again the most expensive and delicious cider.

Then he walked back to his friends.

"Here fellas'" he said as he handed the cider.

And, even though we may have almost died of cold, broken bones, and exhaustion,  you guys are still my best friends ive had forever, and I will definetly have to write to CB about you guys" rocket said.

Kites giggled and raised her glass to. "To the awesomest stallions I have ever befriended, or met!" She clinked her glass against Rocket's. "And I can pay for a round of cider to if you guys want!" Kites laughed. "I have a feeling we'll need a few after that adventure!"

Starshy swallowed, breathing out. "I wanted to apologize to you....for earlier. I did have some feelings for you...you were so nice to me when we first met. I'm sorry if I hurt you. I was just confused..."

 

She looked down, telling herself not to start crying. This wasn't the end really but how come it felt that way?

 

"After everything that has happened I knew I couldn't avoid you anymore...it wouldn't be right and it's not like me to do that." She looked up at him then. "I hope that we can be friends, Chocolate. You are a good stallion and you deserve to be happy with your new marefriend."

He felt really comfortable right now, a mare he really liked and his best friend, what could possibly go wrong?

"all I know is I want to go snowboarding after this blizzard is done" then he thought about what he just went through in the snow "on second thought..... maybe ill just sit in the hottub, were there is no cold."

Storm, no doubt due to tiredness, spaced out right in front of the elevator. He immediately snapped out of it, however, when he heard Starshy speak. "Oh, uhm, ok. I'll just wait here." He was a little nervous knowing she was going to talk to Chocolate. I wonder what's going to happen...
