movies/tv Dragonball Z Kai: Majin Buu Saga

I know this is old news but, the creators of Dragonball Z Kai announced last year that they would add episodes of the Majin Buu Saga to Dragonball Z Kai since the remake/reboot only made it up to the Androids Saga. I'm pretty happy that they are doing this, cause well I'm a DBZ fan.

 

So what does everypony think about this?

Good I was bummed out when it only went up to the Cell saga, I guess the demand to finish up to the Buu Saga was pretty strong. The sooner they get to it the better.

That's great, Kai was how I got into DBZ and I will be looking forward to it. Gotta be better than watching GT at least... *shudders*

Yeah, I heard about this awhile back. I was pretty happy about it, and still am, although part of me likes how Kai ended with the Cell saga. It was great to see Gohan replace Goku as the Earth's hero. (Don't get me wrong, I love Goku, but I liked how he basically "passed the torch" over to his own son.)

I thought that I'd heard (from reliable sources) that Kai didn't do as well in Japan as Toei wanted it to, so they couldn't justify making the Majin Boo saga. Actually scratch that, I don't mean that the Majin Boo saga never got put in because of that, but maybe it was a factor.

Im kinda surprised actually i thought everyone thought Kai sucked because the way they edited out the violence and took out some interesting filler .....everything that made it the bad-ass show it was.

 

Oh well i guess i would enjoy seeing the Buu saga "Kai-ified"

Not gonna lie, I was never really hot on the Buu saga, mainly because I felt that the Android saga was the perfect ending, and the Buu saga sorta makes it feel worthless.

 

Regardless I'm excited, plus I miss Hercule, so it'll be great to see him again

I'm actually very excited for the return of the buu saga. Of the 4 main sagas that made up DBZ (Saiyan, Freeza, Cell, and Buu), the last one has a special place in my heart because I remember watching that one the most growing up. It may not be my favorite arc in the series (Cell saga FTW), but i'm glad that they are finally going to conclude Kai for the new generation of DBZ fans who are just getting into the show.

It's about damn time they did the Buu saga. The only part of this that I am dreading is when they introduce Gotenks, I just can't stand Gotenks.
