Where have you seen that Posey(G1) was Fluttershy's mother?  Personally I think it more likely that Fluttershy had parents that were very different from her in outlook and personality.  I see her as having been a perpetual disappointment to them in her foalhood due to those different interests and shy personality that was different from the pegasus norms.

It was tagged as such on Derpibooru. It's what I've seen around. So I just kinda went with it. 

 

I really hope they show some sort of family for Fluttershy in Season 5.She's the only one "alone" family wise, of ponies we've seen. Like Dash has Scootaloo as a little sister kinda deal.We've seen plenty of Apple Family, some Pinkie Family and Twi's family...Rarity's.  But no Fluttershy. Sure, Flutters has her animal friends....but no relatives/ ponies like family.
