"Mmm," she sighed, patting the bed next to her, "You must be tired too. Come, rest here with me, and keep me warm." She smiles softly and holds her arms out to him, so he can lay down in her arms and she can snuggle him in her sleep. She was very into the touchy-feely.

Demence left the library, holding a struggling unicorn and a spellbook. It was far too hard to take one pony. Nevertheless, he had finished his task. Hopefully, when he handed in the two objects the windigo wouldn't kill him. He didn't feel like dying today. "Blank pony! Care to give me a hand?" He asked, but Mirror just followed, paying no attention to the question. He saw the windigo and threw the pony and spell book to him. "There."

He got into the bed and into her arms. It was almost like her leotard was enchanted somehow that made her want slightly more physical contact with him. He couldn't complain with that, though.

"I'll keep you warm and safe from nightmares..."

He nuzzled her cheek gently.

She sighed happily, and brought her head under his chin, hugging him like a teddy bear. She also rubbed his back a little, in small circles. "Good. Because if you jump into another pitfall filled with lava, I'm going to go clinically insane," she jokes, sighing. "I love you Nightfall."

He hugged her back, trying to keep from remembering any of his previous dreams.

"I love you too, Maven..."

His breathing already started slowing down, and within minutes, he was fast asleep. But no matter how hard he had tried, his dreams were only filled with thoughts of Maven leaving him, or another mare, whether it was Den's sister, Speedy, Sapphire, and this time a few mares he didn't know, somehow pulling him and Maven apart.

She held him closer, laying her muzzle on his shoulder and listening to his heart beat. I wonder what he's thinking about.*Thump* He said he's been having mare dreams lately. *Thump* I wonder which *Thump* one he'll *Thump* see tonight. *Thump* I should sing for him, she thought suddenly, moving her head off of him. She stroked his mane and hummed a light beat, quiet song.

A song in his dream.. He dreamt of Maven again, and of the love he had for her. As long as the song lasted, they were happy together. And things seemed to stay that way until a little while after, when things were torn apart yet again, but not fully for mares. He saw the death of loved ones, the rise of supervillains, and no escape.

She eventually fell asleep, which meant she stopped humming. She felt his twitches in her sleep, and it translated into her dreams. Weird environments where things randomly pressed against her sides yielded strange oceanic environs. In them, there were always an orchestra. In them, the only way to save Nightfall was to play the instrument handed to her at the time. And in most of them, she had to play forever, meaning total separation from the Alicorn Police Chief.

Nightfall woke up with a jolt and a yell. He was shaking, and covered in a cold sweat, with a few tears streaming from his eyes. He felt a little sick, and decided that while he did need the sleep, sleeping would only make him feel worse. He shivered as he moved towards the edge of the bed.

Maven woke up as soon as he started moving and clamped down, eye's shooting open. She saw Nightfall and relaxed, sighing. She didn't know if that last dream was a dream, or a memory, but it was a nightmare of both. She saw his expression a brushed his cheek with his hoof. "What's wrong Nightfall," she asks.

He sat there on the bed's edge, not facing Maven, nearly crying.

"It's just... It was only a few nightmares, Maven. It was nothing too serious."

That, of course, was a lie, and it was audible in his voice. Something serious had happened in his dreams, and it had shaken him up badly.

"Don't tell me something's just a dream. You got to see mine. Come on Nightfall, what's wrong?" She pulled on him until he faced her, whiping tears from his cheeks. She tilted a chin up so he'd look into her eyes and said, "You can talk to me. You can always talk to me."

He tried not looking at her.

"No... no, you don't want to see... I don't want to remember. It's- no, no, no..."

He finished of mumbling, shivering badly.

"Your parents death wasn't your fault here in reality."

"But in the dream I killed them! I stood over their bodies, laughing as I violated them!"

She cursed, which admittably is not very effective against daemons. You want to know what is effective about daemons? The daemon slaying song she sang immediately after she heard the mumbled 'no's and the pained expression on his face. She forced him to look at her, though she wasn't really looking at him, more like the thing inside of him.

He squirmed a little, as the daemon inside him grinned. But as the song started, the daemon felt it's pain. Nightfall froze for a moment, then inhaled sharply and went limp. His breathing was irregular, his heartbeat was too fast, and his eyes were stuck open.

"Mmm, I think I'm going to nickname your daemon 'Lament.' In I lament your decision to take him into your body. It must've gotten further than usual, for you to react like this. Are you awake?" She claps her hooves infront of his non-responsive face, hoping to snap him out of it.

He didn't respond; he was having an out-of-body experience, with his daemon facing him down.

"Look, I want you to stop! I control you now!"

"Oh, it isn't as simple as that," the daemon retorted. "If it was, you wouldn't be having those problems." It grinned.

"Then why are you doing this!"

"I've grown."

Sapphire was awoken by her radio, which she sleepily, but cheerfully picked up. "Uhuh? Ya? Yep, I can do that."

Maven dropped Nightfall's radio back on the bedside table, as her electric instruments appeared in a white haze, followed by her amp. She dragged the semi-conscious Alicorn over to the said thing, checking all of her wires, and picked up her cello, sitting infront of him. The finely crafted back frame hummed as she turned on the instrument, and set down the piece of music she always kept on her; Nightfall's favorite cello piece. She put the bow on the string, and light began.

Winds smirked as the Unicorn was brought before him. "Good job my little minions. Now to get to business," he said as he generated an ice blade and held it to his neck. "I need you to learn the shape shifting spell in this book and transform me into whatever I want," Winds told the frightened unicorn befor bringing a hoof to his head. "Oh my Luna, An incredibly large amount of... parental love has been established. I think I'll be sick," he told his minions. He quickly froze the Unicorn in place. "He can wait, we're going foal napping," he said

Thunder Hooves woke up from his nap and sighed' "Back to heroing," he thought.

(OOC: Does this mean we steal Azure Dust? Or some other foal?)

Demence scowled. "Minion? MINION? Consider yourself lucky enough I'm working for you. I wont be called names." He seemed to have forgotten that the windigo could kill him at any instance. He found it painful to be a slave, and even more so to be a slave to that thing. All because of that stupid blank. It just had to wander outside. It just had to find that windigo. The blank had caused it all.

"Good morning sunshine," Feraen says from the kitchen, "The earth says hello. I was thinking we could go to the hospital area. I want to check out some of the alleys, make sure there's no weirdos out to attack the patients." She walked into the room, "Have an apple. They were on sale." She tosses it to him.

Nightfall felt himself slowly trying to go to his body, as the daemon tried to keep him out of it. He could her the music, but it sounded different than before; he could feel different effects from it, and it almost hurt a couple of times. But he eventually felt himself in his own body again, just as the song was ending.

She put down the electric cello, put the bow on the stand, and checked on him. "Nightfall, you alive?" She waved a hoof in front of his face, looking down at him, concerned. Maybe right in front of the amp wasn't a good idea, but he was almost totally gone. I hate to say it, but I think he needs help.

He shivered, and opened his eyes slowly.

"Yeah..."

His voice sounded weak, and somehow hoarse, as if he had been yelling.

"I'm... I'm alive..."

He closed his eyes and seemed to fall asleep. But inside his head, he was working on retaming his daemon, while yelling at it, which would explain his hoarse voice, in a weird sense.

She nods, and lays down next to him, resting her head on his chest. She watches his face for a while, ears flicking. She could almost see the mental argument happening in his head. Leaning in, she kisses his cheek and waits for him to win out. She really hopes he'll win out.
