Raptor grinned, genuinely excited about this job.

 

"A police officer? Why didn't you just say so? The cops are the worst bigots in the whole city. Of course there's no way a griffon could ever be the victim, no, it's always our fault. And it's not like they're going to give them a fair trial, either. If you're a griffon in this city and you're anywhere near a crime scene, they'll find a way to throw you in jail for it. Just show me the way, and I'll take out as may as I can find."

Slicer nodded. "Its gonna be pretty easy. first, we cut the power to the police station...which will hopefully stop the alarms from going off...unless they have a backup generator. If that's the case, we will just need to work faster. After breaking in, we search and find out as much as we can about Den. Where he lives, everything about him. Then, we go to his house...later tonight and attempt to capture him...We knock him out and take him to my boss. Now, meaning no offence, but after we capture Den, I am going to need to call my boss and ask him about bringing you along...he may not really want anyone knowing where he lives so...I will talk to him about that." He picked up his bag and made his way down the street towards the police station, assuming that Raptor was following.

Raptor nodded and followed after his newfound partner. It sounded like a pretty easy job.

 

"Alright, sounds like a solid plan. If we get caught, do you want to run or fight our way out? I'd rather fight personally, but I don't know how you're boss would feel about that."

"Well...That all depends. If the station does have ponies inside then we will need to fight our way out. But its getting late so if we wait a few minutes than the place should be empty. Now, the station will probably have a backup generator. one of us will need to cut the power and the other will need to open the door. We have about ten seconds to open the door, get in, and close it before the backup generator starts up. So we will need to be Fast." He said.

Again Raptor nodded. This was indeed a pretty solid plan. Clearly Wind had done his research, and Raptor was honestly impressed. Maybe he was part griffon or something.

Sapphire was with Speedy going through a lot of ammo.

Frey didn't know what he was supposed to do, and he was tired of napping. So he walked down to the firing range and watched Sapphire and Speedy (Mostly Sapphire.)

 

(I'm planning on keeping Frey here until Maven and Nightfall come in.)

"Don't worry, I can be plenty fast when I need to. Do you want to be the one to cut the power, or should I do it?" 

 

"I think you should do it. I know more about the mission and if we don't have enough time for the both of us to get into the building, then I know who we're looking for. But I would expect you are quick enough to get in...I would be surprised if we didn't have enough time. I think it would also be better for the both of us to be in the building...in case we need to fight, two of us would be better than one. Also, we will be doing this all from the roof door. I am going to pick the lock, but we will cut the power before opening the door." He said. "Until then, we will wait on the roof. maybe we should pick up pizza or something to eat before we break in...we may have to wait a while."

Raptor was surprised that Wind would put such an important responsibility in the hands of someone he just met, but then again, what can you expect from a pony. Regardless, he wasn't going to let him down. He hated the cops to much to let this mission fail.

 

"Alright, whatever you say. So how long until the place should be empty?"

"That's why I was thinking we should get pizza. I was planning to start the plan at maybe twelve o-clock AM...We're going to have to wait on the roof for a while. Do you play poker ? And one thing. I just need to be sure considering I just met you. You heard why I was sent to prison before right ? Well please, don't mess this up." He said as the police station came into sight farther down the road.

"Don't worry, I want this way too badly to allow myself to mess it up. And no, I don't believe I have heard the reason why you were sent to prison before. Interesting story, I take it?"

 

As they neared the police station, Raptor couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement.

Slicer nodded. "Very. interesting." He said, spreading his wings and flying up to the power lines. he checked a couple things but this was more so ponies wouldn't freak out when he followed the lines to the station, making it look like this was his job. *Lets hope everypony believed that.* He thought.

Delphina rolled over and watched Nightfall, his getting up having woken her. "How are you feeling, Sir Knight?" She smiled slightly and rose out of bed, looking at the time; late. She looked outside, and the sun had just barely dipped below the skyline, painting the sky red.

Sapphire was with Speedy going through a lot of ammo.

 

Nightfall spun around, then realized it was only Delphina.

"Oh, you know... Much better than before."

He laughed trotting over to kiss her before trotting back and getting in the shower.

 

Speedy wasn't quite as good as Sapphire, but she was getting there, slowly. During a reloading break, she talked to Sapphire.

"I love how others go on dates to restaurants, and we go on dates to a shooting range."

Delphina looked at him strangely, "Did ya forget your living with me? It's been a while since you haven't," she said cautiously. "But I'm glad you're feeling better. We should head down to the station, make sure everything's alright. After all, we skipped the smoothies."

 

Sapphire tilted her head, "We can go to a restaurant if you want... I think there's one open till midnight. And then there are the night cafes, or I could cook for you myself. I like to bake," she smiles broadly. It didn't take her very long to reload.

Delphina looked at him strangely, "Did ya forget your living with me? It's been a while since you haven't," she said cautiously. "But I'm glad you're feeling better. We should head down to the station, make sure everything's alright. After all, we skipped the smoothies."

Sapphire tilted her head, "We can go to a restaurant if you want... I think there's one open till midnight. And then there are the night cafes, or I could cook for you myself. I like to bake," she smiles broadly. It didn't take her very long to reload.

"No, I just didn't... Never mind."

He was in the hot water for a very short period, then got out and got dressed quickly.

"Should I teleport us there?"

 

"No, no, this is fine. I quite like this. Although... We seem to have a visitor."

She glanced back at the hero for a second, then kept shooting.

"I have to take a shower first, Nighty," she laughed, getting out of bed. Her mane was a mess, and her coat could use a brush, but she was smiling, so it was okay. She stretched, than passed.

 

"He's been watching us for a while," she said, turning and waving at Frey with a smile, then turning back to the range. "Just ignore him, he's probably bored of the police station. Admitably, there's not a lot to do around the station... Except bake bake bake!" She giggled, and went back to shooting.

He nudged her a little as she past him, then he went and got a glass of water and relaxed on the couch for a little bit.

 

"Well, there is this shooting range. But tell me: who is he looking at more? I'll bet you can sense it."

Frey sat back and looked at the ceiling. 'How long do they stay here?' he thought. 'Getting late, but I got no place to go better.'

 

 

 

Patches put up all of his books and lied down on the couch, sighing heavily. He was bored, but at least he was done with his homework for the day. He considered getting something to eat, but decided that he wasn't hungry enough to go through all of that trouble.

"All right. I pose my previous question: teleport there and get there faster?"

He got close to her, his horn glowing a little already.

Thunder Hooves Noticed Ferean staring at the mirror intently and decided to try and help with.... whatever it was. "Hey Ferean, Is everything okay?" He asked her in a polite voice as he trotted up behind her. "You know, I'm here for you whatever happens," he continued.

"That's fine," Patches replied bored. He fiddled with his hoofs a little. Sitting down with nothing to do was something he had gotten used to. "I finished my homework already."

 

 

 

Big Shot looked at Shale and said, "I don't see the point of making that robot and keeping it locked up in the back. Do me a favor and have Gatasubal moved to the garage."

Den looked at his son, "I should really get a TV. Or some books..." He put an apple down next him, and went to read the paper that had been delivered daily for a while now. They were also beginning to fill up the fireplace 'burn pile.'

 

Delphina shrugged, "If you feel up to it. It's your energy, not mine." She brushed her hair a little more in the mirror and waited for him.

 

"I could scare him if you want," Sapphire replied, changing the target and her clip. She absently took apart the gun, and brushed some debris from the inside of the barrel, then took some parts out of her bag, completely changing the weapon into something bigger. She started sighting it as if nothing had changed.

(Just kidding. Also, I learned that my British accent sucks, so you might want to find someone else to do the doctor.)

 

Feraen shrugged, "How was your job search?I was just headed out anyway." She levitated her costume from the place she'd been drying it, and put it on. Steam rose off of it, it wasn't entirely dry and she was speeding up the process. She turned to him, putting on her mask.

"I filled out an application for a nice little smoothie shop," Thunder Hooves told her. "And if you're going out I'll go with you, if you think you can be a nice sidekick," he continued teasingly. "But seriously, we should team up," he said to her as he slipped his mask and cloak on.

She looked him up and down, "And what would you say your biggest strength is Thunder? Your charming good looks, your wings, or the tiny cloud outlets?" She was joking around, thinking about his proposal, "If we do this, no sidekicks. And you'll have to get along with the police. Okay?"

Nightfall got so close, they were almost touching, and with a bright flash of light, they were inside his office at the police station.

"Easy. If I felt like it was a waste of energy, I would just ask you to sing me more."

He chuckled.

 

"Not necessary. If it comes down to that, I got it."

"Oh. So now I'm like an equivalent to coffee. Whenever you feel like you're low on gas, come on up to Delphina's karaoke." She said it sarcastically, but with good humor. "Five bit says I know where Sapphire and Speedy are." She grinned at the open door of the armory.

 

Sapphire shrugged, aimed, and shot at a rather large target. It looked like she was having a tough time after the first clip. After the second clip it was clear she was doing something. The third clip looked like a heart wt a few misses. The fourth clip looked like it was trying to spell something. The fith clip spelled out, inside the heart, 'Happy Hearts and Hooves Day.'
