what avengers represent the ponies

If you could match up the mane six with the avengers who would they be. Im at work on my break right now. Typing on my phone. But to sum it up here is my list

 

Rainbow dash is iron man

Apple jack is the hulk

Twilight is cap america

Rarity is thor

Pinkie pie is black widow

Fluttershy is hawkeye

 

Anf chrysalis is loki

Celestia is nick fury

Well there's actually already a meme that pretty much already puts to rest who each and every pony the Avengers would be, and vice versa.  It's naturally awesome and amazing!!!

Dashie=Iron Man, I even read a MLP/Avengers crossover fic and they had fun harassing the crap out of Captain America together

 

Applejack=Captain America, has a rocky relationship but mutual respect for Iron Man/Dash, is a good all around athlete and is old-fashioned with a strong moral compass.

 

Fluttershy=Hulk, sweet and kind but can be surprisingly feirce and frightening when provoked.

 

Even if she's not in the mane six, Luna =Thor, her archaic speaking, general awkwardness,control over weather and the fact that she's sort of a pony god make the comparison strong. Interestingly, what with her being the black sheep of the family she also resembles Loki in many ways.

 

As for the rest, I don't know if there are that many similarities so I won't try to force a comparison.

As stated by everyone. However, I am upset with you, Internet. They fit much more closely with the founders.

 

Wasp = Rarity (They are like thr same)

Giant Man = Flutters

Iron Man = Dash

Cap = AJ

Thor = ... NO ONE EVER

And, if you want to include him cos technicality, Hulk/Bruce = Twi

I'm going to use the comics, rather than the movie.

RD: Iron Man (cocky, boisterous, and loud)

AJ: Captain America (principled, powerful, sturdy, and determined)

Twilight: Thor (magical powers coupled with a lack of knowledge about social conventions)

Rarity: The Black Widow (elegant, but deadly)

Pinkie: Squirrel Girl (Member of the Great Lakes Avengers who is similar in a lot of ways)

Fluttershy: The Hulk (calm most of the time, but don't make her angry )

Big Mac: Antman

Applebloom: Bumblebee

Trixie: Hawkeye

I still haven't seen the movie, so really I can't say, but from what I know about the characters I think Rainbow Dash might be Captain America. It's a combination of loyalty and love of freedom, I guess.

I imagine it like this.

 

Twilight's Hawkeye. The most reserved and tactical of the group; modest, but still willing to contribute to a cause.

 

Applejack's Thor, obviously, because they both represent the one with pure strength in their group. Applejack is relatively humble and will always take one for the team, much like in the Avengers film Thor wanted to save the full-on war for if he couldn't take down Loki by himself.

 

Pinkie Pie is Iron Man, because they both provide the comic relief for their group and are general comedians; plus pretty much everything Iron Man says, you can quote, a definite Pinkie trait.

 

Rainbow Dash is Captain America, because they both embody pride in - and loyalty to - their place of origin. They can also both do impressive feats in the air (First Avenger, the airplane scene).

Rarity is Black Widow, because... well, do I really need to explain?

Fluttershy is the Hulk. They're both initially cute and lovable, but one needs only to rub them the long way and hell will rain down on them.
