Even if this was telekinesis he wasn't sure why or how he would find it useful. but if this wasn't a coincidence (spelt that right first time) then it must be an area of effect. or perhaps he was just going in blind. but a long, awkward walk is boring. "I hate to tell you this," (He grinned inside. He loved telling them this.) "but that plan just isn't going to work. No doubt that dear pony Twilight Sparkle and her merry little gang would be able to stop our dear Princess before you, Chrysie and I were able to grow powerful enough to defeat The Elements." With a flash, he was standing up, with a soapbox beneath him. "What we need is to defeat those infernal Elements. I tried to counteract their power by spreading disharmony among it's wielders, but that plan backfired. Those wretched things defeated everybody in this room. Mephala 2,633 February 12, 2013 Share February 12, 2013 There was a rustling in the trees above the two ponies walking through the woods, and a blue streak started to speed towards the ground, flailing and cursing like nobodies business. When the hit the ground with a loud "oomph" and, after a few moments, slowly stood up, shaking out leaves from her wings. Rain had fallen out of trees before and she was used to this by now, but it was still an uncomfortable experience. She never broke anything, luckily, but she didn't like flying and instead (rather stupidly) chose to just fall rather than attempt to save herself. 'I swear if those paparazzi followed me all the way out here I'm going to have a serious problem with them, I've already made it clear that I only sign one autograph per pony' he thought as he spread his wings and flew up over the treetops. He followed the wooded trail below him until it came to a cross roads. Beneath him he saw the small figures of 3 ponies. Darts recoiled in confusion, not at the fact that there was a random group of ponies out in the middle of the woods, but rather that the obvious fans lacked cameras and autograph books. Deciding to see what was going on down there, He swooped down low beneath the canopy and landed in front of the group, throwing up leaves a he skid to a stop, not intentionally showing off but doing so all the same. ((OOC: For those of you who didn't see my post on the OOC thread, Darts is a rather famous ex-Wonderbolt. If you have a problem with that please say so soon, I can still change his backstory to a slightly less over-powering one.)) What are you some sort of religious cult?" he said, trying to hold back a second fit of giggles, "well at least I won't be needing to sign autographs, I didn't bring a pen anyway." His laughter faded as he realized that deep down he did feel as though he was being drawn deeper into the forest. He looked at the strange ponies and frowned, "okay, you have my attention, go on." She studied his face for a moment and then stood up, going to the cave entrance, her deep gray skin blending well with the rock. She looked down from the mountain and could just see a group of four ponies, through the trees. A sly smile began to play on her lips as an idea hit her. Awh geez, Chamois thought. She gave him a look and then smirked at him. "The high life, Las Pegasus, cider? Mm, lovely. Sounds absolutely lovely," Chamois said, only a small hint of sarcasm in her voice. Then she frowned. But something to make the days perhaps a bit more interesting," she said, pointing towards the ponies. "I bet that I can turn one of those ponies to the 'dark side' before any of you can," Chrysalis said. She turned to look at Discord and Nightmare Moon. "You fillies up to the challenge?" Chrysalis smirked, even though the only mare was Nightmare Moon and she was no where near the age of a filly. To be honest, she thought it was pretty cool that he could fly like that, but what did she know about Pegasai? "Well, first of all, you find a pretty mare who cares, and then you ask, and then if she says yes, then, there you go! But I said no. And so you've got to keep on looking," Chamois said. Not far ahead he could see where the thick trees gave way to black rock and sharp gravel. "I think that's our mountain up ahead, unless there is a second one around here somewhere." He turned back to where Rain and Bright Spark were lagging behind, "hey slowpokes! Stop reading your silly glowing maps and get up here. This rock's only gonna be here forever!" After a few moments, she was staring up at the mountain from below. She blinked, feeling something seem to flow out of this mountain, calling to her, practically calling her name. She touched the smooth surface and ran her hoof over it for a moment. "You guys feelings this?" she asked. Then she wondered if they were still there and looked back at them. He opened his bag and pulled out a bottle of whisky, taking a swig before putting it away, because drinks always helped him in dire situations. "i'm feeling something. It no longer feels like telekinesis though, more like an instinct." he sighed. " i guess the only way to find out is to climb it." he began ascending. He had searched the mountain from top to bottom but it was all just the same black craggy rock, no caves, no secret tunnels, and certainly no ponies. Darts sighed as he turned back down the boring mountain and flew back to the group. "See I told you, it's just a regular mountain. Your maps must be broken."
