He set up Hunter's tent like it was supposed to be, and he put his (and Hunter's) sleeping bag in the tent.

 

"So, Hunter" Chetnik said, "what are the plans for tonight? I was thinking of reading some romance novels or something like that, but, heh, if you had any recommendations, I'd love to hear 'em, my love."

Chetnik took out some Serbian romance novels, he hated the manstream ones and he swore by the classics.

Hunter looked confused.

Chetnik then took out the English translations, which he had written in case he ever found love, which he did.

 

But he decided to bring out the greatest book of all time, according to him, Bridge on the Drina.

 

"Maybe one day, I could even teach you some Serbian, Hunter!"

Apple Doom trotted awkwardly toward the fire. He sheepishly trotted towards Aurea and asked jokingly "Is this seat taken?" He then slowly took off his bag and layed it next to his side. Man am i stupid, not only am i in pain i also can't sit. I will look like the biggest idiot i front of her. He thought to himself as he looked at her violin.

She gave him a look of mock disapproval "Well my imaginary friend Humphrey was going to sit there, but I suppose he can move". She noticed him wincing as he sat and draped a wing over her back "You hurt? You should have said something about the cart sooner."

She moved closer and started running her hooves down his back, pressing lightly "Tell me when I hit sore spots" she mentioned.

Chetnik was the 1st pony up as always, and decided to go scavenge for food so he could prepare something for the rest of the group. He went along a path, but then the unexpected happened.

 

A bear attack. Chetnik tried doing an air force evasive manouver, but to no avail. The bear took a swing and hit Chetnik's right wing and deeply cutting his skin all the way from his wing to his rear right hoof. While falling, Chet somehow got hold of his bayonet knife and cut the bear's stomach, killing it.

 

While limping to the campsite, Chet was yelling "Aaa, idi u pičku materinu!" and moaning in pain.

 

He somehow woke Hunter up by saying "Ajde, dušo, budi se" and explained everything.

Chetnik's cry woke Winter up with a startle.  He nudged Noon, "Did you hear that?  It sounded like Chetnik."  Winter rose to investigate and found the bloody mess of bear.  "Sweet Celestia!  What happened out here?!"  He galloped over to the wounded Chetnik "Are you alright?" he asked, and without an answer ran back to his bed roll, grabbing some gauze.  "Here.  I'm sure you know how to use this."  Winter said as he hoofed it over to the Serbian.

Apple Doom leaned closer to her and puckered his lips. He kept leaning until he fell to the ground. Smooth Apple Doom. Just real smooth. He thought to himself as he lay on the ground. "I must have...lost my balance haha." He said as he blushed from the embarrassment.

She laughed "What are we going to do with you" and held out a hoof to help him back up, then sidled up very close, placing a wing fully around him. "Care to try again?" she asked, pulling him closer with the wing and beginning to wrap a hoof and a second round him, only partly to stop him falling down again.

Apple Doom was overjoyed by the kiss. "Wow...just wow. That was the best kiss i ever had." He looked back at Aurea's wings. I wonder why her wings are pointed up. is she cold? He thought to himself. Apple Doom looked up at the sky and saw that it was getting late. "It seems like its going to be a cold one tonight, would you like to join me in my tent?"
