@,

Minath nodded, agreeing.

"Shouldn't we wait for everypony else? I mean, them being the crew and all." Minath said, levatating her goggles around her neck and putting on her hoof covers, not much different from those of Canterlot Royalty. Although the goggles kind of ruined it. She liked the hoof covers anyway though.

@,

Rambler thought about it for a minute and nodded.

"Perhaps, but on the other hand, what kind of example would I be setting as captain if the crew arrived at the ship before I did? I'm sure the others will get there pretty soon, anyway, so we might as well head out and wait for them."

"That is true" Minath agreed. "Althoguh I will need t come back. I know! I'll leave a note for when they wake up!" Minath said, scribbling down a note on a piece of random paper. "There! Now they'll be able to know where we went."

She opened the front door with her magic, twitching her wings. What would the ship be like? It had been a long time from when she had last been on a ship.

@,

Rambler noticed her twitching her wings. They'd been together long enough for him to know that it was a sign that she was nervous about something.

"Are you worried about the ship? Don't be; she's a fine vessel, and the crew are all very nice. You'll do just fine. And besides, once they realize you're my marefriend, they won't dare be anything but nice to you." He laughed at the last part.

Rambler knew her better than to believe that her laugh meant everything was better. Her wings were still twitching, and he had to figure out why.

"That's not it, then, is it? What's wrong, Minath? You know you can tell me. Maybe it's something I can help you with."

Minath sighed. Sometimes it wasn't very good for someone to know her so well. "It's my wings.... I haven't flown in years, never sense you dropped me off here, not once. What if my wings are weaker? What if I can't fly as fast? All these things are going around in my mind." Minath sighed once again, exasperated.

@,

Rambler couldn't help but laugh a little bit.

"Is that all? Minath, you're an amazing flyer. I'm sure you'll be just fine."

Although, now that he thought about it, she did seem a bit... softer, maybe? Perhaps she had gotten a little out of shape during her time here.

"Anyway, even if you aren't quite the same as you used to be, I'm sure you'll be fine once you get back into it."

Minath gave afew experimental pumps of her wings, but with no intention of flying. Everything seemed in check...

"I want to know about the crew. And how many mare's are part of the crew as well.I don't want to be caught off guard. Although I rarely am anyway." Mianth chuckled alittle.

"Well there's one mare who's always flirting with everyone on the ship, but she's nowhere near as beautiful as you are. There was one other mare, but she left recently. She never really talked much, so I'm not really sure what her deal was. Then there's a third mare who I don't honestly know very well, but she's a bucking good sailor. The rest of the crew are stallions. They're a friendly bunch, and generally loyal. I think Firewhip will make an excellent captain himself one day, but for now I'm glad to have him on my crew. Then there's Storm who you already know. The rest are kind and very good at what they do, but otherwise unremarkable."

Minath nodded, feeling like she knew what to expect as she saw the ship with her far-sightedness. She wondered if Rambler could see it yet. "When we get in the air, I'm throwing on my goggles and using my wings again." Minath said with certainty. Her wings twitched, but it was different. More like they spread apart and then folded over on themselves, and this was anticipation.

Rambler was glad to see that she seemed to have gotten her confidence back.

"Sounds good. I always love watching you fly. Just make sure you don't get too far from the ship. If we lose sight of you, it could be a problem."

Not long after that, they arrived at the ship.

"Well, here we are. The Rake, fastest ship in the sky."

(OOC: Well thank you work for sucking up my life right now oh well I'm jumping in ahead of schedule here and doing this one time thing right now unless needed again in the future. Ugh I really hate doing this.)

Storm was already on the ship having left early in the morning before anypony was up. He'd been on board sharpening his blades up on one of the masts of the ship. The wind was very cool in the early morning and it felt good in his mane and being up here alone was how he liked it. It gave him time to recall on past events in his life. It was then that he saw Rambler and Minath walking towards the ship and it caused him to raise and eyebrow. He'd guessed that they were an item but he wasn't sure but this only confirmed his thoughts. "Heh well done Minath bagging the captain is a sure fire way to stay on his good side." Storm said to himself while watching them get closer to the ship.

The docks were a maze of tall wooden masts, huge balloons, and roaring engines. Copper wandered around looking lost for a while, asking a few ponies we came across if there was anyway for a ride, but he was brushed aside each time. Finally he stopped and stomped his hoof in desperation. "I am never going to get off this freaking rock!" he shouted angrily.

((He is near the Rake BTW))

(Sorry. I have a lot of homework, and I'm sorry to say this, but I have 2 other RP's which are my top priorities right now. Not to say this one isn't absolutely awesome! But it's the weekend now, so I can post more.)

(I'm also assuming its morning....)

Shock rolled around in her bed. After she got back to the ship, she had immediately crashed out due to the alcohol resting her systems. She got up, and did her normal morning routine and trotted outside, singing the same song from yesterday.

(Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna go play with Legos in the shower.)

"Night Ma'am" Harmonic replied as walked over to the front of the deck where he always liked it.

He rolled over, and with a dull thud found himself awake again. "Nrrgg, what?" he asked drearily, before he realised he was in the medical room - again. "They're devoted, i'll give em that" he mumbled, crawling his way up onto the bed. "How long have I been in here? Did anything that happened last night...was that a dream?" he flung his hoof over his shoulder, and was greeted with a sudden burning pain. "Well...not that." he laughed.

Eventually finding his feet and hopping off the bed on his own terms this time, he checked his cloak on the table near him. "No herbs...so that means...Diamond," His voice got quieter and quieter as he spoke.

Shaking his head, he made his way back onto the deck, seeing not too many of the crew where awake yet. He shook his head and began making his way over to the doors below deck - the crews sleeping nests.

Goldseek noticed Harmonic and gave a little wave. He had been awake all night, yet still was not tired. He was still in possession of the sword that he had used to take out the bandits when his scimitars had been blunted. He wasn't used to the weapon, but until he could get his own blades sharpened, it would have to do.

Harmonic distracted himself from his intended goal, and veered towards Goldseek instead. Standing infront of him with his old selfs glaring eyes, it took him a minute to actually say anything. "You get his last night? I didn't see you after I got shot."

(OOC: I hope you meant my sword...)

"Yea. Needed some kind of weapon." Goldseek simply stared off into the distance. "Are you sure you should even be out here?" He knew that walking on his wounded leg wouldn't be good for him. Harmonic wasn't what Goldseek was focusing on at the moment, however. He was surprised that those ponies were still after him. This meant that either a new leader was elected, or he had never ended the original one. It didn't matter though. Soon he would be leaving this town.

@,

As he approached the ship with Minath, Rambler heard an angry shout coming from a frustrated stallion not far off. He decided to walk over and check it out.

"Are you looking for a ride, friend? Because I'm shipping out anyway, and I would be happy to oblige."

((Your sword was not my intended target...no))

"I've spent more time out here than I have in there sinse the injury." he looked over at the captains cabin "and it's paid off a little too."

He started walking over to the entrance below decks once more, and nodded his head indicating that he wanted Goldseek to follow. "So...what exactly did you do to get on those guys' bad sides?"

Rain finished eating his toast and he walked over to the bow of the ship...which was facing the town.

He couldn't help but smile knowing the fact that soon enough this town would be miles behind him and he would finally be where he had always dreamed of being...the sky.

He had always felt slightly jealous of Pegasai and their ability to fly so he felt like a foul in a candy shop...well, more like a foul just outside a candy shop considering they hadn't taken off yet.

Diamond finished her tea and trotted out onto deck. She took a deep breath aaand..."EVERYPONY WAKE THE BUCK UP." She yelled, staring down at the deck. She was mentally counting down from ten...nine...eight *some rummaging could be heard from below the deck* seven...six...five...four *A few loud bangs and the sound of hoofsteps could be heard slowly getting closer to the hatch leading up to the deck* three...two......one. Then almost the whole crew came flooding out onto the deck, and quickly made their way over to their stations...ready to take off.

(OOC: Oh... lol. What did you mean? Anyway, have some completely unnecessary random backstory.)

"Long time ago. Came here for a holiday to escape my 'extreme' life. Turns out I had killed a client from a some kind of secret organization that were here. They weren't happy about that. I thought I had killed the owner last time." He sighed as the many crew ponies awoke and marched to their posts. "Time to take action, I guess."

Harmonic jumped and stood to attention when he heard Diamond bark her orders. It took him a second to realise he wasn't the one she was yelling at, and he relaxed again. "Force of habit." he laughed, stopping dead in his tracks. 'Diamond just woke the crew...that means she's on the entrance to the lower deck' He suddenly turned around and started walking slowly back to the medical room. "Go on..." he said somewhat distracted, yet fairly intrigued by Goldseek's previous journeys.

(Sorry to keep you waiting with this.)

Gladius walked out onto the deck and noticed his newest crew member standing at the bow. The rest of the crew was still asleep, and he was surprised Rain was already out of bed. He walked over until he was standing right next to Rain.

"I guess I'm not the only one who likes to wake up early, am I? I like that, it shows initiative. You know, I think you're going to be an excellent sailor, Rain. Now excuse me while I wake up the rest of the crew. You may want to cover your ears."

He walked over to a button on the outside wall of his cabin and pressed it, causing a loud shriek to be emitted from small speakers all over the ship. The crew was well acquainted with this signal, and within minutes they were on deck and preparing to take off.
