And don't close the door to your room, make sure the lounge is within earshot so if something happens you will be able to hear whoever is keeping watch." She said, walking over to Nightfall. "Hey, can you walk ? Because we should get you off this couch to an actual bed." She said.

Lila went up to Arcane and smiled at him. "Hear that? We should sleep in pairs." she looked at him for a second before continuing. "I'll be in my room if you want to stick with me." With that she went to her room saying goodnight to everypony. She entered her room, same as before, and set down her saddlebag and hopped onto the bed waiting for Arcane to come.

"Oh sure... Sleep in pairs, mare and colt, while I just keep watch for you. Yah ok, you ponies get each other while I watch thees... Things all night. Il never have anything nice... Never" shade said annoyed with what diamond said.

 

She walks over to the door and keeps looking at what the zomponies are doing, most of them were just wandering around aimlessly.

 

Shade was getting tired, she was drained after the day, and the cold winter didnt help. But she manages to stay awake.

Diamond couldn't help but laugh. "You need to connect with your pony side and learn to control your changeling side. And I may not know what you're going through, but I can tell you that its something you can control. Don't go around assuming we're all stupid." She said.

Arcane was honestly a bit scared at how seemingly anxious Lila was to sleep with him. "Oookay then..." he thought out loud, following Lila to her room. When they got inside, he was a bit relieved none of those things got them. "Why were you so anxious about us being in pairs?" he questioned Lila as he moved over to the bed, but not laying down on it.

I have no idea where she's at, but i hope she is ok." Lila pulled the covers around her tight and waited for Arcane to either say something or go to the other bed.

"I have to go grab some stuff from my room. Do you mind keeping watch by yourself for a few minutes? If anything happens, just give a shout and I'll be right here."

 

Rambler kept thinking about what she said, it must be hard, being a changeling among ponies, forcing yourself to resist the urge to feed and starving because of it.

Slimy was standing here, being ignored just like Coco before. He couldn't believe that everyone's just discussing who is going to sleep with who and shit.

"Everyone just fooling around and making wise&experienced out of themselves..what do you know about surviving..."

"You're making me sick.." he whispered. He turned his back on the others and slowly trotted to the lab.

 

Coco was sitting in the lab, rapidly turning the pages while searching on her hoof with a magnifying glass and a lab needle. Finally, she found a drop of a dark green viscous liquid. She prepared the sample. Then, someone knocked on the door.

She was scared at first. She grabbed her dagger into her mouth and carefully opened the door. She was glad to see it was Slimy.

"Woooo.." she sighed. "Thanks glob it's you. I got a sample."

"What's with him.. he seems.. angry. I've never seen him like this before..."

Only thing is i havent seen him, i dont even know if he's alive." She said her tone now suddenly depressed and sad.

Shade continued to watch the door, she was starting to fall asleep as she got tired from the cold, but she forced herself to stay awake for the sake of the other ponies.

 

She looks closely at the zomponies studying them, there coats look torn up and blood stained. She looks close and then pulls back to look at herself... She surrounds herself in green fire and changes herself to look like one of thoes nightmares... She looks at herself, " well this is interesting" she said quietly to herself.

"If you really want somepony...then I can go get somepony...but I will just be in the other room there, you will be able to see me and all I will do is make some sandwiches...I'll only be a few minutes...but I can go look for Slimy." She kissed him on the forehead. "i'll be right back." She said, walking out the door and towards Coco's room, the sound of zombies hitting the door slowly got louder.

 

Diamond knocked on Coco's door and slowly pushed it open. "Hello. I was just wondering if Slimy maybe wanted to come play some cards."

Okay so Coco was in her room all the time. She was just a little high so she thought it was the lab..

She patted Slimys mane and put the dagger out of her mouth. "It's just a little of their... blood? I don't know.. It's what got on my hooves.. so probably some kind of denatured blood.. I don't know.. But I will know.."

"Is there something I can help you with, Miss Cocodrillo?"

"Thank you, but not for now.. just..." she handed him her dagger "...take this in case that someone gets here through the window or door.."

"Great, but.. I have no idea how to analyse this crap without the stuff I left in the lab..."

Suddenly, a knocking again.

"Slimy, please.."

Slimy was standing behind the door with a dagger in his mouth. Coco heard the familiar voice.

"It's okay I guess." Slimy moved back and Coco went to the door.

"Greetings."

"Hello, Diamond. Thanks for your offer, but there's a bunch of zombies outside, and... I have to do something about it."

At that moment Lila wanted to so badly yell at Arcane. But she didnt have any words to throw at him. He didnt know it but he had cut her down to nothing within those few minutes just arguing about prom and Arrow. All she could really do was silently cry to herself for the time being.
