private Mystery Island

Rambler stepped off the blimp and surveyed his surroundings. The island did seem pretty nice, although he wasn't sure where the "mystery" part of it's name came from.

 

"Well, it looks like this is going to be a pretty great vacation."

 

He watched in awe as Scarlet Rose did a triple backflip.

 

"Wow, that was incredible."

she brush the sand off herself, grabbed her bag, ran back to the others and waits to see if a host or somepony in charge will show up and show them where we will be staying

 

wonder what the room arrangement will be? she thought to herself

Palette smiled at Wildcard, put her saddlebags on her back and flew off the balloon high into the air, She smiled even bigger at Scarlet when she had finished her amazing stunt "You're 100% Right Scarlet" She said with an exciting tone "This is going to be so much fun!" she did some airborne flips and landed with a giggle, But feeling abit queasy, Palette didn't do stunts very often, they were fun but still made her abit queasy, Palette quieted down and put her head down so her mane was covering most of her face "Sorry" she said, Lifting her head again, She looked around their landing spot, It didn't look half bad in the day, She wondered what it would look like at night, Palette smiled at the thought of all the fun things she was going to do; She didn't know why she was so excited, She never really wanted to come in the first place, Maybe it was because she had made such a good start with Wildcard, Maybe her fun and happy side was finally showing, Maybe she just could wait to see what they were going to do on this island. Palette's head jolted upwards, she got her notebook out of her saddlebag again and put down another idea for a painting.

 

As she put it back it, She noticed a sort of.. Vibe in the air, To Palette it was quite hard to recognise, But it was easily an emotional feeling.

Excitement? 

Happiness?

Love?

Palette shrugged it off and went back to looking around where they were now, She had to admit.. It looked like a really nice place

"That backflip was amazing, you have to be really well trained to pull such thing off" Wildcard said to Scarlet Rose when she came back to the group. He spread his wings so that he can feel the warmth all over his body and smiled.
'This seems to be exactly what I wanted so much. A vacation where it's warm, beautiful and where I can relax and have fun. And this together with some nice ponies. It's going to be awesome' the pegasus thought. Wildcard jumped and flew up into the air, before making a sharp turn and diving down towards the sea. He pulled up again a bit earlier than necessary, because he didn't want to fall into the water and get his saddlebags wet. Wildcard then headed towards the group again, and made a small roll before he landed. "Guys, this island is amazing!"

I can tell i am going to enjoy this vacation! She thought as she looked around the senery, and the group of ponies.

Rambler was the first to respond, eagerly agreeing to go with her. He always loved to explore a new place, and so far she had proven to be very good company.

 

"I'm definitely coming with you. I can't wait to look around the whole island and see what the rest of it is like."

"Count me in! But first we should explore our hotel and what's around. We have full 3 weeks here and while I am curious about the island, I don't want to rush things" he answered smiling. He wondered when they would be guided to their place and how the rooms were arranged.

"Checking out the island will be fun, but I agree with Scarlet Rose and Rambler, I think we should find where we will be sleeping first. But, considering I can't see a house that we will be staying in, I guess we may have to do some exploring."

 

She wondered where they would be staying, it was mystery island after all, but it seemed strange that no one was there to greet them and show them around. Or maybe he or she was late? It seemed like a pretty big island...

Somber was a bit aways from the entire group, about a good 400.1 yards. This seemed like the perfect place to talk. He turned around, wondering if Peach had followed him. Sadly, she didn't and was still with a random pony from the ride here... His somewhat good mood faltered, as he collapsed to the sand with a sigh. For once, he wanted to talk with someone. And that was a rare moment, too. And they wouldn't even... A small tear formed in his eye, looking at the extremely small group off on the horizon.

Rambler noticed the stallion who had slipped a note to Peach during the ride was looking at them, and seemed to be upset. He figured he should probably point this out.

 

"Uh, Peach, I think that pony over there wanted to talk to you or something." He pointed over to Somber.

Peach looked where he was pointing and sure enough somber was sitting by himself a bit further up the beach.

Peach looked where he was pointing and sure enough somber was sitting by himself a bit further up the beach.

"Hi somber-" she paused noticing he was crying, "are you alright?" She asked concerned.

Once Somber had seen Peach come towards him, his mood lifted, but saw that he was crying since Peach pointed it out. He quickly got up, wiping the tears from his eyes, getting a bit of sand inside his eyes. He groaned, trying to shake out the sand. Once he was completely clear, he was about to speak, but then noticed the group in the distance, the one pony from before staring at him. He gulped and only nodded to her, ashamed that he couldn't speak at all.

Palette smiled "Can I join you guys on the adventure?" she tilted her head in a way that made some of her hair fall in front of some of her face, but she was still smiling, She looked over at the horizon to see that Peach and the other stallion had gone, Half of her was concerned, they didn't exactly know what was on this island, But Palette decided that they'd most likely be alright by themselves.

"Upwards..." Wildcard answered Palette smiling. "Let's take off and see if we can spot a hotel or something from up there"

The pegasus spreaded his wings and flew away until he was high enough above the ground for a little overview. The sky was clear and he spotted a building complex not too far away. As he was looking he noticed that large parts of the Island seem to be unpopulated and unexplored, but unfortunately some higher hills blocked his view so he was only able to see a small part of it. He waited for Palette to come after him so he can discuss with her what they should do next and because 4 eyes see more than two.

 

(OOC: Also tired, just woke up xD)

Palette smiled at Wildcard from the ground and slowly flew upwards beside him, When she was there, She took a quick glance at Wildcard with Warm Eyes then took in the Scence of the Island Around them "Wow.." she whispers "Its so beautiful" she looked back at Wildcard and giggled "Okay, Well, Theres a building, I think.. There are also some unexplored bits" she pointed to the places with her hoof as she said then, She then looked up abit farther from the place she was pointing at, Palette smiled again "And a Pretty Beach perfect for nighttime trots" she pointed and smiled again, She could just imagen then trotting on that lovely little beach at night, then stopping to look out at the sea and cuddle. Nonetheless, She looked back at Wildcard "Anything else I missed thats important or that we should be looking for?"

Palette smiled at the warmth of his breath gently whispering in her ear, She cuddled into him and breathed slowly, One of her most precious moment was most likley right here and now, She wanted to make sure it went by slowly "I am too.. I wouldn't be with anypony else" she replied, She looked in his eyes, Not looking into his soul but just looking in his beautiful blue eyes, She smiled again and looked back at the island below,

'Looks like the adventure starts right here and now'

Palette could still feel the vibe, Not just there with Wildcard, But it seemed that everypony had it.. Or atleast was devolping it anyways.

Peach felt awkward. She couldn't think of anything to say that would make it better. She was usually so good at solving other ponies problems, but Somber was becoming a bit of a challenge.
