Firebolt finally reached the area set up for the flying course. She sighed in relief to see not many other ponies around. Firebolt surveyed the area a bit before landing again. She didn't see any teacher around, so just waited calmly, watching the doors to see if any other ponies would come in.

Day Dreamer unfurled her wings as she sped down the hall.

 

"I don't want to be late! I really don't want to be late!"

 

She looked at her schedule.

 

"...Flying class?" She said as she ran towards the direction she assumed the class was in.

 

She saw two other pegasai heading down the hall, and she ran up to them.

 

"Uh..hi, do you know which way Flying class is?"

''I have no idea!'' Splinter said while noticing the new pony rushing by. ''But I think it's this way.'' Splinter said while pointing a hoof in the direction they had been walking in. ''I'm Splinter. Whats your name?'' Splinter had asked the newcomer to the group of three.

Day dreamer looked at him, satisfied with his answer for directions to the class.

 

"I'm Day Dreamer! Yes, I doze off a lot, it's a bit of a problem for me sometimes." She said with a slight giggle.

 

She continued to intently follow him, hoping to end up in the right place.

"Well, ehh I'm going to Flying Class too" she said smiling as she landed on the ground. She saw the other pony arrive next to them both "Flying class? Well, I'm just as lost, I'm new to the school and all" she said her grin fading a bit, "I guess I'll be following you guys, might as well"

Not seeing many ponies around, Firebolt was starting to get worried that she was in the wrong place. The area was set up to have a flying course held there, but she could be wrong. Quickly turning to the clock, Firebolt realized only about 5 minutes had passed. Curse my impatience! Firebolt thought, sighing and sitting down.

 

OOC: I'll be back tomorrow. I has to go to evil sleep.

''I think I found it!'' Splinter said while trotting into the area for the class. ''Why couldn't I had just dun-goofed for a couple more minutes!'' Splinter thought while face hoofing. ''Well, nice to meet you, Day Dreamer!'' Splinter said while grinning then looking over at the course.

Day Dreamer looked over the course. She was a bit nervous, flying had never been her strong point, and she thought the track was intimidating. She showed signs of hesitation when approaching the track with Splinter.

 

"Don't lose your head, Dreamer." She said to herself under her breath.

Firebolt saw the ponies enter and sighed in relief a bit. Realizing one of them was the stallion from earlier, she started debating whether to talk to him or not. Getting up, Firebolt walked up to the ponies. "Uh... Hi." She said quietly.

 Splinter began to sweat of nervousness due to the fact that he would be flying in that course. ''I'm freaking out.'' Splinter said while shivering. ''The only thing I'm good at when it comes to flying is hovering! That's not going to get me through a course like this!'' 

Day Dreamer gave him a comforting, possibly even patronizing look and said 'But at least we'll be going through it together. That's a good thing, right?" She then gave him a wink and unfurled her wings, walking further towards the track. Burying her worry in the back of her mind she tried to look as confident as possible.

Day Dreamer quickly looked up to see Firebolt walking towards her.

 

"Hello...uh...what's your name? I'm Day Dreamer." she said, with a bit of a half smile. She noticed the fire and lightning on her cutie mark.

 

"So, your special talent has to do with Fire? That's really cool!"

Firebolt smiled. "I'm Firebolt." She said in reply, her voice easing up a bit. "And it doesn't, it's more flight." She added, before closing her wings to cover her cutie mark again. Looking around the course, Firebolt smirked. The course looked challenging, but fairly easy, and most likely fun.

Splinter felt better. ''Yeah, I guess you're right.'' Splinter said with a happy tone in his voice as he unfurled his wings and gulped nervously. He jumped and had stayed in the air for a few seconds, but fell on his face. ''I'm okay! This happens on a daily basis!''

Hex quietly strode in, keeping her eyes locked in front of her. Arriving in front of them, she looked over all the students, her face stoic. She kept her wings folded tightly against her flank.

 

"Is this all?" her voice was as strong as her gaze. Hex stared at them expectantly.

Rush shuffled her front hoof on the ground as the flight instructor stood in front of them, she tried not to make too much eye contact, she would tend to get nervous just staring at a pony for too long, she looked around the course, and then back at the other ponies, with the new addition of Firebolt into the group.

''Eh.. Hello!'' Splinter said while noticing the flight instructor looking at them. ''Heh.. Heh heh...'' Splinter said while getting up and making a terrible poker face. ''I really need to practice my poker face! It looks like I'm eating meat! And everypony knows how much we have to hate meat!''

Lightning had been the first to get to Flying class. He looked at the course and twitched an ear; nothing he couldn't handle. His mother, Misty, had trained him in flight practically the moment he had wings, so he guessed he had an easy advantage. Lightning's cutie mark was a lightning bolt, which he'd gotten after winning a speed race; it meant he was as fast as lightning. Now, if he could only get the landings right, he was made.

Firebolt rolled her eyes slightly at Splinter's exposition. I wonder what we'll even be doing today. Hopefully not endurance... Or tricks, or something like that. Firebolt thought, trying to distract herself from the other ponies, though that wasn't too easy.

Stretching her wings, brushing off dust from her hooves, Snapdragon was more than ready to take on her first day at Cloudsdale School. Being as excited, she can't wait to meet the pegasi there, as well as the instructors who are wiliing to give so much to a gifted student like her.

 

As she flapped her teal wings, she spotted few of the groups hanging around the cloud quad, being the shy one, she wouldn't mind hanging around one of them. But it wouldn't also hurt to say hello as well.

Day Dreamer stood at attention, staring down the flight instructor, but not making any noise of her own. She just looked and waited for the course to begin.

 

"The sooner this is over with, the better..." she thought to herself, as she unfurled her wings and got ready.

Taco was running around frantically trying to find her class, she got lost very easily, but she couldn'y find anypony to point her in the direction of her class. "CAN ANYPONY SHOW ME WHERE MY CLASS IS?!", she screamed way too loudly, but she was lost an had no other options "Anypony?"

Firebolt also turned to the attention of the instructor. She didn't make direct eye contact, as per a general rule, but looked around at the course again. She smiled slightly and opened her wings halfway, as to not hit any of the other ponies standing beside her.

Taco finally found her classroom and barged in yelling "AM I LATE?!" oh buck, Taco why are you so stupid sometimes? I'm gonna be in so much trouble!, she thought to herself. She sat down quietly and she was very embarassed because everypony was staring at her. Remember Taco, don't yell out anymore today.

Sugar rush had taken a few steps back, she blew the mane out of her face once again and looked around at the other ponies, she tightly closed her wings completely covering her flank *I wonder if this class'll start anytime soon* she thought, ending it with a small annoyed sigh.

"Names?" Without waiting for an answer, she turned to rummage through a pile of equipment she had. Her ears were alert though, waiting for thier names.Objects clunked together as she searched. Her wings kept tucked tightly at her sides.
