Lydia sterilizes the blade, and prepares to cut into Rocket. "It's alright dear... You're going to be just fine... Now this is going to hurt a bit, but I need you to stay still while I relieve the pressure on your skull... Beginning incision." she starts to cut into Rocket's skull, taking care not to touch his brain itself.

Zana looks into the wound. "Damn... that's a lot of coagulated blood... We can do this two ways, we could peel it off of the brain and risk re-opening some of the hemorrhages, or we could get a source of sonic waves and break the mass apart, but that would cost precious time..."
