Lydia nods and listens intently. "Why is it important? I don't mean that derisively, but I'm actually quite interested... Based on the intricacy of the architecture I'd have to guess that this building means a lot to you, but I'm not quite sure why... Does the person who lies here do something important?"

 

 

Celestia looks around " a memorial. I seen memorials before. But.. who is this for?" She asked "and I'm sorry about the past. It wasn't my fault. Just because I'm a ruler.. get blamed.. so.. lets learn."

 

Hank walks in and smiles "wow.. a memorial room. I would love to learn. Its always great.."

Rosko sighs, "everyone knows this pony as the rebel runner, but i know him as my Sergei,  he was a father figure to me. my dad was killed before i was born by the dictator. Sergei took me under his wing, no he wasnt a pegasus its just a figure of speech. Anyways he was the pony who was delivering the letters to be sent to the princess. he got caught and was brutally beaten in front of all of us. his last words were 'Celestias army will come my comrades, just wait' we believed him and waited, but no army showed up."

He sighed and continued "we took matters into our own hands and overthrew the dictator. we learned that day that we needed to take care of ourselves. thats why there is no equestrian flag flying here, thats why we dont participate in anything equestrian princess."

Celestia frowns "well.. I never got a letter.. I am so sorry.." she tears up as she got a bundle of flowers as she put it on the coffin "I will try to be there from now on.. I will. Can't you send letters with a magic spell using the gems so it will arrive to me?" She asked as she noticed something sticking out of the coffin and pulls it out as its the letter for help

"Here lies Sergi Roskovich, beloved adoptive father and an icon for us all. This soul was unfortunately dispatched while attempting to gain aid for his country. For the last three months all he has sent were letters saying ' princess celestia.. we are in dire need. Come help us. Bring the army. From. Stalliongrad.' Let it be forever known that Stalliongrad shall fight its own battles. As a vital source of information from the world, and a friend to anyone who needed one, he will be missed. So say we all." She folds up the letter and hands it to Rosko. "The rest was a letter to you from everyone, I won't read it out loud, but you can if you want."

Rosko takes the letter from Lydia with a smile, "Mekivel Roskovich, you have the strength of a bear and the heart of the winterstorm. the great starchild has shown her love for you and your spirit is that of Sergei himself, you can lead stalliongrad in many years of strength and greatness." he wipes a tear from his eye, "my comerades wrote that? i am touched, i was scared i wasnt a good leader like sergi," he folds the letter and places it on the top of the casket.

Lydia smiles. "Don't worry. You showed your skill as a leader when you defended your nation from the griffons... I'm just glad they show their trust in you. Do you know what ultimately happened to the star child? Did she leave, or die?"

(Full disclosure, I have no idea what the storyline is... I just wanted a hero to have a fitting epitaph, especially listening to The Protomen, if you haven't listened to any of their stuff you should.)

Lydia nods and gives JT a hug. "Anything you can do to get them to be friendly will help. The biggest thing is to remind yourself that they can and will fight for themselves and their own."
