Sally nods, 'I was also running an analysis on your girlfriend's blood and found out some fascinating stuff... If I could figure out how her cells disable telomeric shortening I could theoretically allow the same thing in any body I had access to... It wouldn't mean you'd get her regeneration or resistance to injury, but I may be able to prevent you from aging, so she wouldn't have to see you grow old and die in front of her... Which should I work on first?' She disappears from view.

"See, the side I used to cut myself is duller, like my body was trying to physically stop the blade from cutting into me... Here's your blood." She hands Sally a vial.

 

A woman appears in front of Rosko, glowing with energy. "My brave soldier, your quest for love shall bear fruit soon. I have done my best to steer your path towards your desires, and one of my disciples has been in your midst, but the choice is up to you. Will you make it, and will you attempt to seek me out now that I have made my presence known to you?"

Rosko looks in disbelief, "are.. are.... you...." he looks away from her eyes and quickly bows and chants the prayer of the Women of the star he ends with, "im not worthy of the grace of meeting you" he stays bowed, wondering what she will do

Lydia smiles brightly "Your saying that makes me happy... All I meant to do was show you that you need not worry about me... I hope I got enough blood for Sally."

Sally nods "This amount should be sufficient."

The lady of the stars gently touches Rosko's forehead and says "Yes, I am, but there's no need to do that... You're perfectly worthy, my child. You have served this country well as a leader, and I simply wished to reward you for your perseverance and unwavering faith. Is there anything you wish to know about me?"
