Lydia smiles and begins to lead JT through the halls, "Well, let's start at the beginning... About a month after First Contact command decided that the loss of life resultant from fighting the war would be too large if we didn't keep developing ways to counteract unicorn magic. That's what the researchers were originally here for. We built fons of labs like this one to figure out how and why magic works. This room was a testing chamber where we would hold captured ponies so we could test their magic."

Sally sighs, "I was bored. You biological creatures think so slowly that I need to really freak you out or I'll forget the point of the joke."

Applejack nods, "Sure, ah can't see why not. Let's go and see how they're doing."

Lydia picks up the letter and looks at it quizzically, "You're cordially invited blah blah blah gala... Do you want to go JT?"

twilight nods "soo.. Applejack.. are you going to the gala with your boyfriend?" she asked her as she puts up her book and gets up.

 

Fireblaze smiles and then he following Rainbow Dash to the Weather Factory.

Charles still sleeping while walking up a little but and looking at Sam sleeping too as he smiles.

Lydia nods and hugs JT, "We are? I suppose we have to go then... I'm probably not the best ambassador though, I don't know many other ambassadors whose biggest accomplishment in diplomacy was turning their host's capital city into a burning hellscape... I guess we should just grab what we can and go back to get ready."

Sally nods, "I guess they don't like to talk about it... You should ask them some time..."

Lydia nods and starts gently placing instruments into the bag seemingly at random, "I'll take one of these, one of these, a couple of these... I wish I could take the whole lab, but that's a bit impractical at the moment... Gonna need a couple of those, should probably have made a list earlier... So these could be useful..." she smiles to JT, slings the bag over her shoulder, and tries to lift a large machine, "Damn, too heavy to lift solo... Can I get some help over here?"

Sally sounds dismissive, "I'm just an AI... Nothing special, just a piece of software granted life by a team of lonely scientists who wanted someone to keep them company on long nights in the lab... Someone they could bounce ideas off of without a thought of ethics or sanity..."

Applejack hugs Rosko, "Well of course ahm yer marefriend... Will you come to the Gala with me?"

Celestia nods "well. I hope that you and rarity will go to the gala."

Lydia shrugs, "This is just basic fast-prototyping and laboratory equipment. With all of this stuff I should be able to build whatever I need or want aside from food... They haven't found a way to fabricate food yet... Maybe that should be my next goal after the teleporter..." she trails off as she walks, lost in thought.

 

Cindy sounds confused, "Lost? I don't know what you mean... I always know where I am and where I'm going, but if you mean like spiritually? I don't really know if I have a soul or anything like that... I suppose I am just a traveller..."

Lydia hugs JT and laughs, "You have no idea... I've been wanting something meat almost since the day I got here... I abused my position to get first dibs on the meat shipments from back home whenever I could... My mouth is watering just thinking about it..."

Sally happily says "Good night." Then hears Caitlyn's question, "I don't know much about her... She ran from where I first was and I haven't been able to have a good conversation with her since... From what I've gathered she's scared easily and tries to avoid conflict, but I'm going to need to know what you want the information for before I can get more specific than that..."
