private Life in Canterlot (SOL RP)

Brazen sat in the waiting room alone with clank, her eyes glazed over and stroking his mane gently, over and over.  While she was really happy for Hunter and her foal, and really wanted to be in there with her, congratulating, she felt that it wasn't any of her business. She hadn't been invited in, and it would've been rude of her to ask.

 

Brazen may not have had the perfect Canterlot accent, but she was extremely polite. It must've been a very intimate moment, the first time a foal sets eyes on her mother, and she really didn't want to ruin it for Hunter...and Flare.

 

Brazen sighed, and went back to stroking Clank's cold mane.

Draco looked at his friend then he did what he always does. He hugged her gentlely "I'm here for you my friend," Draco said gently into her ear. He softly sang into her ear "Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars," Draco sang gentlely as he held his friend. He wanted to help her if he could but he didn't know what and how to do it.

Flare carefully moved towards the cradle and gently picked up the baby foal; she twitched and began sobbing, but eventually calmed down and began sucking on her hoof, her eyes still droopy and half-lidded. 

 

"She... She's beautiful..." Flare smiled, her eyes shining brightly with pride; for some reason, she was so proud of Hunter. Giving birth must've been exceptionally difficult, no joke. And Hunter was exhausted... she must've worked so hard back there... Flare closed her eyes and hugged the tiny bundle close to her chest.

 

"Beautiful..." she whispered with a soft smile. 

Hunter smiled as Flare held Mystic, her happiness was far beyond the happiest pony in Equestria. the sight of Flare hugging Mystic made Hunter smile even more

"she looks so prefect,and Flare looks like a natural at nursing foals"

(OOC will anypony be willing to meet me in the rp i dont really know how to do that well lol) Darksun decided to go to the gardens to see if there were any new things there. He suspected there was because its been a thousand years since he has seen it so he was happy to go there.

Slow, Flare put the baby down and covered it up to it's small chin with a fluffy blanket. 

 

"I feel I should leave you alone to get some rest. I can always take a run out and get some supplies for the baby so that you're up and running later." she smiled, offering kindly.

Hunter smiled at her friend and laid down on the bed and got comfortable, but still looking at the cradle, just next to the bed

"Right." she smiled and then wandered out of the room without another word. What was she supposed to say exactly? A baby would be a lot of work to live with, especially as she was only used to taking responsibility for herself and perhaps her father from time to time. She missed her father badly, but she couldn't go back to Cloudsdale. Not with her new life here in Canterlot. 

 

"I could use a break..." she mumbled, before mooching off towards the library that Splinter had shown her some time ago. As she walked through the doors, she briefly wondered about him; she hadn't seen him in a while.

Minath, after slipping out of that dredful hosptital, ended up on the roof of the palace, dreamily starign down at the gardens. An unfililiar pony!

 

After gracefully, and silently, landing behind the pony, her horn flared up, and her muscles tensed, a low threatening growl escaped her lips.

Darksun heard something behind him and saw an alicorn behind him in a hostile position and asked "who are you?". then darksun said I am Eclipse the lost brother of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and then he bowed down to the pony. After he stood back up he said "I have returned home to Canterlot to live happily and not live in the everfree forest anymore" then he smiled.

Jolt awoke at night time and looked around. All he could see was black and darkness. After a few minutes his eyes grew accustomed to the dark and he could make out certain things in the room.

 

[uhh. I hate being stuck inside. I need to get out but with this leg I have no chance. I need something to do. I need to socialize with someone. Anyone.]

 

Jolt saw a light be turned outside. The door to Jolt's hospital room creaked open. A nurse entered to look around the room and check to see what was going on. Like a child when it's parents checked to see if it was asleep, Jolt quickly put his head down and closed his eyes. He stayed silent. His leg had other ideas and gave a sudden burst of pain.

 

"ARGH! Ahh. My leg!"

 

Jolt began to cry from the pain but was still shouting. The light in the room was switched on, temporarily binding Jolt.

 

<"Leg problems Mr. Silver?">

"What does it look like?"

<"Are we going to have to get the painkillers out?">

"No. I'm perfectly fine. What do you think? Ahh... Of course we do."

 

Jolt was handed a cup of water and a set of pills. One red and one blue.

 

<"Let's play a game. One pill is a sleeping pill. The other is a painkiller. Both will stop the pain but the painkiller has a side effect. It's like a pep-pill. The sleeping pill has the effect of thinning the blood. Take your pick, bloodloss and sleep or awakeness and lack of pain. I won't tell you which is which.">

 

Jolt's heart started beating quicker. He was being entered into a game he didn't want to play. He had to take a pill though. He took the blue pill and slugged it back. The pain slowly disappeared but Jolt's heart went into overdrive. He'd taken the Painkiller and, unfortunately, the pep-pill.

 

"This has caffeine! I'm highly sensitive! Do something nurse!"

<I'm no nurse. You however, are a gullible fool.>

 

The imitation nurse fled, leaving Jolt in his state of Tachycardia. He swung a forehoof onto his Panic button and awaited assistance from an actual nurse.

Splinter set his face on a nearby table and sighed. ''Screw it, I'm going to the library.'' He said while getting up and opening the doors to the library. ''Nope, boring. Bleh, too cheesy. Wait a minute, they still make MAD magazines?'' Splinter said while shuffling through a random shelf in the library.

hunter awoke by the sound of an alarm

"CODE BLUE, INJURY WARD, ROOM 8"

she then heard a bunch of hoofsteps running towards that ward

"i hope whoever that is, is alright"

Mystic woke up to the sound and started crying

"awww shhhhhhh, its ok bubba, hunggy?"

she went and fixed up a bottle and came back to her hospital bed

Flare shuffled around the library aimlessly. Her mind was relentlessly playing tricks on her, but she couldn't focus on one thing in particular... it was far too much to focus on one thing when so many things were going on in her head. She irately ran her hooves through her mane and settled down to begin one of the books that Splinter had lent her. She STILL hadn't even started one of those!

 

"Man, I could get into this..." she mumbled to herself, eyes fixed on the text below her.

''I wish things were exciting here. I like books, but it's always so quiet. Well, it is a library'' Splinter muttered to himself while grabbing a rather beat up book off of one of the many shelves and sitting down next to a empty computer space. ''Oh, Celestia. Now I have to start reading off the internet. What is wrong with me?'' Splinter said while sighing and pulling out a pair of headphones out of his saddlebag along with a laptop. ''This table is sort of useless.. I can just carry the laptop around.'' Splinter said while getting up from the table and leaning against a nearby shelf.

"Minath Watcher, Captain of The Guard and protege of Celestia." She saluted. Her muscles were still tightly wound, but some of them were relaxing more and more.

Im sorry you never knew. Its very complicated I think. Ive been gone for a long time and I think that Celestia and Luna just didnt want to mourn for me because they didnt know if I was dead or alive. I can see why she didnt want to mourn. She hads a large kingdom to rule and keep in check with for no chaos small alicorn.

Flare closed the book and peered around, eventually noticing a familiar pony.

 

"Splinter? SPLINTER!!" she called, getting to her feet and bringing her book along with her. She hadn't seen him in a while... it'd be great to talk to him again. In fact, she'd only last talked to him when he had let her borrow the books... he'd probably ask her how she was doing with them. Or not. It didn't matter to her.

 

"How are ya doin'?" she asked brightly.

"That's okay... I've been pretty distant myself these days..." she replied bashfully, setting the book down on the floor. She'd heard of Creepypastas and had indeed read them before; some were bad enough to make her the slightest bit paranoid - and afraid of the big red Pony that seemed to work alongside an orange work pony with apples on her flank...

 

"I know what you mean, " she said. "It's a shame when some work of art just loses all the views and publicity, just like that...did you hear about Hunter?" she set to asking. If she didn't speak about her soon, she was going to give way; her mind was too full.

''Yeah, I was pretty sure I heard the doctors talkin' about her baby when I was flying out of the hospital.'' Splinter said while his eyes widened and he shut his laptop for a minute, then opened it back up. ''Sorry 'bout that. Nobody told me this maze game would have such a unusual ending..''

Flare let loose a "PFFFTTTT---" when she saw Splinter's comical expression upon the maze ending, before nudging him gently.

 

"The books are great by the way." she answered, winking playfully. There was something about Splinter's company that kept her nice and comfortable - like she was surrounded by a true friend. It felt good, safe, and most definitely reliable. Not to mention he was very nice as a pony anyways.

 

"Anyways, where ya headed after the library?" she asked, picking herself up from the library floor with minor grace.

''I dunno. I have nowhere else to go. I could always go home, but it's sooo boring.'' Splinter said while shrugging. ''But I'm glad you're enjoying the books. Th' least I could do for a bored pony.'' Splinter said while grinning. After some more browsing on the creepypasta wiki, he gave up and shut his laptop. Realizing he had been refreshing the same page for 3 minutes.

"Well," said Flare. "I'm gonna head off. I can only stay quiet for so long." she grinned a devious grin and turned to leave the book-ridden building. It even smelt of books in there... which made sense, but still...

 

"I wonder how Hunter's doing..." Flare mumbled. "Maybe I'd better go check on her." and with that, she began flying back to the hospital at her usual faster-than-lightning speed.
