Would You Read A Fanfiction About An OC?

Because yes.  I'd like to do my OC's pasts before leading up to a roleplay.

But I have such an idea for them all that it would seem like a waste to just put on their profile.  But if no pony reads them, then why put them anywhere else!

As long as the OC is interesting and the story is well-written, why not?

 

I won't read any fanfic with an over powered OC or an OC with an extremely and ridiculously dark past, but if the OC has an interesting personality, dream, and fear, and the writer wrote it well, I will.

It really depends though. As long as the OC has a personality a bit different or interesting and also, you need to provide some information because some people may not know about your OC thus making it difficult for them to catch up in the start.

 

As long as the story is fine, I guess I will read it. I'll read anything that has an interesting title or a good idea behind it.

The concept doesn't really interest me personally (but that's mostly a time issue more than anything, school being crazy busy right now and all), but speaking for bronies in general, I imagine that if it's well written, you'd get a decent amount of views.

I dont usually read about OC's in fanfics.. ._. I'm not fond of OC's. The only time when I like the are in RP, they aren't OP or they're my friend's fanfics..o__O But someone else could have a different opinion.

I can't imagine why not, if the OC is good and/or interesting, that is. And the story actually has some type of plot to it and isn't written with walls of text.

I read fan fictions about any OC, as long as they're not a changeling or an Alicorn, basically if they're lore friendly, yes, if not, then I don't. I prefer fan fiction based on the main characters but that might just be my personal preference.

*shrug*  I read Fallout: Equestria, so yeah.  That was nothing but OC's until flashbacks later in the story.

 

It's usually gotta have a bite for me, though.  I gotta have good reason to grab one, since OC's tend to have non-canon or OP'ed abilities or ~*~sUp3r d4rK n SaD p4sTs~*~ to make them "better".

Sure! Just make sure it's long and good. I actually haven't read a good fanfiction in a long time, so I'm really looking forward to it.
