Draco saw it and he sighed as he went under Delia and picked her up along with Melody "I'll be taking the load off of your shoulders. So Flare take Melody onto your shoulders. I'll help our fearless leader here," Draco said as he looked into Delia's eyes. "Jeez what a mare I can see she's wracked with pain," He wasn't going to stop being helpful.

"Alright c'mon Melody" Flare said picking her up. "So a hot spring at top if the mountain" Flare said as he carried Melody and followed behind Draco. "How long till we get there anyways" Flare asked turning his head to look at Melody. "Are you ok Melody you need anything" Flare said.

Melody gasped when she felt Flare pick her up her heart beating faster and faster as he walked with her on his back. "I...I...I'm fine really this isn't necessary. I'm just happy to be around...you Flare."  Melody turned her head, her cheeks turning a deep crimson. Melody was happy with just being around Flare, and being at a hot spring would give her more of a chance to be around him.

"Well it's necessary to me to get you to the hot spring so you can get better" Flare said as he smiled lightly. "Now I don't want to hear you saying that your holding any one back cause your not holding anyone back ok" Flare said as  he tried to cover Melody with his wings to keep her warm/

"N-NO! I am fine!" Delia shouted as she broke free of Draco's back. Delia ignored her bodies warnings and tried to run ahead to show everyone she was fine. She then spat out a pool of blood and froze in place. "Oh no" she mumbled as tears rolled down her face.Delia fell over in the snow as she began to black out.

"festis bei umo canavarum," Draco cursed in the griffin tongue as he walked over to her and placed her onto his back. "Your a pain in my arse sometimes acting tough. Sheesh I'll protect you until you recover Delia. Alright?" Draco said as he walked towards where the steam was. "I swear Delia acting like this?"

Delia's body was limp and was unresponsive. As the group continued on the path the path leveled out and the hot spring appeared in plain view. The spring was large and went into a cave that appeared to be a grotto.

"Hmm this is nice," Draco said as he eyed the hot spring "Well gentle colts and mares shall we enjoy our slves in this lovely hot spring," Draco asked  as he looked at the group of ponies with him. He was worried about Delia and didn't know what to do. But he had acouple healing talismans if she got progressively worse.

"We made it to the hot springs finally" Flare said. "Do you think you need any help still Melody" Flare asked as he didn't want Melody to strain herself. "Is Delia ok Draco" Flare asked as he noticed the pool of blood from earlier. "For a leader she can be stubborn she forced herself to continue on even when she wasn't in good health" Flare thought to himself

"I'll keep an eye on her I promise Pia are you alright?" Draco asked the mare as she hasn't talked in awhile. "As I said I'll see to her as soon as I can to check on her. So don't worry about it my friend. Of course the hot spring is so inviting isn't it Mares and gentle stallions?"

"Hmm? Oh, I'm alright Draco, still a bit tired I suppose. Thank you for your concern."  Pia had gotten lost in thought working out a difficult rhythm in her head and had barely been paying any attention. The hot springs sounded like a nice break from walking and the steam rolling off the water looked inviting.

Melody blushed a deep red hearing Flare say such nice things to her. "Thank you Flare. I should be ok to walk on my own." Melody took the initiative and nuzzled against Flare's neck. "Your so kind to me I've never had anypony be this nice to me before." It was then that she saw Delia collapse, panic ran through Melody's mind. Melody didn't know what to do to help her, all she knew was that Delia was in the same situation that Melody was just in only this was worse.

Flare blushed as Melody nuzzled against. "Y-yeah I try to be the nicest pony a person can be" Flare stuttered. "If your worrying about Delia she...needs to learn to accept help when she needs instead of pushing herself so hard..." Flare said Draco pick Delia up. "Hopefully she will be okay"

Draco nodded "You guys get in I'll take care of Delia. After that though I'd love to get in there it looks so inviting you know," Draco said with a smile as he walked over to the grotto. He laid Delia down onto the rocks gently. He laid next to her and thinking "Well why not a song," Draco began to sing once more. It wasn't his genre that Draco sang but it was from his father.

Meanwhile in Delia's mind she was struggling. A fury of emotions was racing through her mind: jealousy,pride, love, happiness, shame and sadness. An intrusive aura clouded her mind and a voice was piercing her thoughts. You and your group will die. It will be all your fault because of your weakness.

Delia awoke suddenly and shouted out, "NOOO!"She looked around to see herself in a grotto and Draco. She vomited up blood and collapsed to the ground panting. "I...am fine...just needed...sleep..hehe." She struggled to get the words out. Tears rolled down her eyes as she continued to pant heavily.

Draco sighed  as he used his wing to brush away the tears. He gently sang into her ear "If I had words, to make a day for you, I'd sing you a morning, golden and true. I would make this day, last for all time, then fill the night, deep in moonshine." Draco sang softly and ended the song on a soft note. "Don't push yourself and tell me what's wrong Delia,"

Flare seated Melody down on the ground. "You sure your ok Melody" Flare said before he felt his wing in pain. "Dang...why does this have to hurt now..maybe it will just go away" Flare thought to him self trying to hide the pain he is in and laid down. "We have been traveling for quite a while it's good to rest"

Melody felt Flare set her down onto her own hooves. She could feel her knees shaking badly but she managed to keep herself up. Melody wanted badly to go help Delia but with Draco with her she knew everything would be all right. It was then that Melody saw Flare lay down in pain. "Oh Flare I hope I didn't do this to you. Let me help." Melody laid down next to Flare, taking the wing that was hurting him she gently started to massage it. This was one time that she was glad she had more than one hobby. "Does that feel any better?"

"N-no you didn't do this to me at all" Flare said as he saw Melody lay next to him and massage his wing. "Um...thank you Melody" Flare said blushing but felt the pain in his wing fade away. "Where did you learn to do that Melody" Flare said as he didn't feel anymore pain in his wing.

"My..problems are all my own..A good leader never worries her team with her problems." She said as continued to struggle. "How is Melody, has she recovered from what ails her?" Delia tried to trot but her body was hurting all over. Every time she moved she spurted out more blood.

Melody gave Flare a warm and gentle smile as she continued to massage his sore wing. "Oh one of my few friends got her cutie mark in massage and taught me a few things. I can't do anything really advanced but I can help the pain stop at least." Melody finally stopped when she felt the knots in Flare's wing go away. Lowering her hooves it took her a moment to realize that she'd placed them right on top of his. Realizing this she quickly pulled her hooves away blushing deeply. "Um...that..should um help... but I would take a dip in the hot spring to relax the muscles for good measure."

Draco forced her down "Bull now tell me Delia," Draco said forcefully into Delia's ear. He looked into her eyes with a fierce glare. Draco then smiled slightly mischievously. Draco said "Yeah your not good to go. I don't care. I will hear it no one else will hear it got it,"

Flare noticed Melody place her hooves on his and blushed a bit then noticed she pulled them away then heard her suggest going into the hot springs. "Maybe your right Melody" Flare said as he got into the hot springs and almost melted away. "This is so nice and so calming" Flare said

Melody watched as Flare got into the hot spring. She suddenly felt a chill run through her body realizing that she must still be feeling the effects of her cold. Melody got to her hooves shakily and slowly walked into the hot spring as well. The hot water instantly felt refreshing on her body, warming her up quickly. Melody looked over seeing Flare by himself. Melody made her way over to him and nuzzled against him. This was totally out of the norm but she was now following her heart. Melody suddenly found herself giving Flare a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for taking such good care of me Flare." Melody could tell she was blushing but she couldn't tell if it was from the water or the moment.

Delia sighed while tears ran down her muzzle. She smiled a little and looked at Draco." I don't even know where to begin. I guess i will start with why i can never stop. I was a foolish little filly when i was put in charge of the tribes annual outing into the wilds to get food. I got too tired to continue and held every pony up in my tribe.The consequence was my tribe starving for a week." She said as more tears came. "If you are wondering why I can't show my feelings, before i volunteered for this mission i was in love. He was an elder Zebra. I took him out to the wilds where we were ambushed by some feral lions. I was showing too much emotions...emotions of love and fear. That worried and distracted him.The lions tore him to shreds. The Lions chased me until the other elders came in and killed them." Delia said as she tried to keep the tear back. "I am also home sick and worried about my family. They are suffering from disease."
