Melody saw how Flare reacted to what had just happened slipping down into the water and swam over behind Delia. I knew I shouldn't have done that. What was I thinking being so forceful like that it's not even my style. Melody thought to her self. It was then that she noticed that the water was rippling as well. She wasn't sure what was going on but she was worrying that it might be a bad thing.

"Listen I know we are on top of a mountain but that doesn't mean we should just push something aside it could be something even more then just pressure under the hot springs" Flare said as the ground started to shake more. "Now does this seem like pressure" Flare said

Delia sighed in relief. "OH my~ you are something else with those hooves of yours." She said as she noticed Melody.

"Like I said my friend, it is nothing to worry about." Delia said.

 

The ground was shaking more and more with each passing second now. Suddenly a purplish/green aura could be seen. It collapsed the entrance to the grotto, trapping the group inside. A figure appeared before the group:

"I told you that romance would not help you! Oh, and it seems your 'leader' is drunk and trying to romance it up with two ponies. WELL YOU CAN ALL ROT IN HERE TOGETHER! You are not getting that artifact!" After saying that the figure vanished once more.

"It was that figure again" Flare said about to tackle him but instead missed since it vanished. "Great now we are stuck" Flare said touching the  the collapsed entrance. "Great we are trapped...and Delia is drunk...what kind of leader gets drunk" Flare said sitting down. "We need to get out of here...Draco you got any ideas"

Draco sighed "I hate traps like these you know," Draco said as he looked around surveying the prison. "Hmm that being felt odd no. Wait, wait, wait there was a story about a zebra strapped in a situation like this but how did it go," Draco began to pace slowly. He was glad he was out of the water because then he would be able to think.

Flare looked at the collapsed entrance. "Gonna try something stupid" Flare said as he kicked the entrance and hurt his hoof. "Ow....well theres one thing i wont be doing again" Flare said standing up. "When I see the guy again I AM GOING TO HURT THAT GUY AND SEND HIM TO THE BUCKING MOON" Flare yelled as his anger is getting to him

"Watch your tongue, do not accuse me of such things. I can hold my liquor, therefore i am not drunk That figure must have been the one who wrote that note i found on the cave *hic*." Delia said as she witnessed Flare take his aggression out on the rocks. "Be calm and think smart. Acting on emotions may not be the best thing to do." She said.

"While you do that Im going to check something out." Delia dived into the hot springs and submerged herself in the water. She then crossed her legs and slipped into a deep water meditation.

"Hmm wait a moment check for a weak rock Flare. Trust me on this my friend," Draco said as he was looking at the blocked entrance. He was thinking of what he could to help.  "hmm let's see if it's weak we can kick it out so that we can get afew ponies free you know," Draco said as he was thinking out loud.

Delia emerged from the waters. "I have an idea,though you guys will probably be against it." Delia said she flipped her mane back. "Allow me to explain. I noticed when i was fooling around with Draco and Melody the vibrations were stronger as I progressed. I am thinking that we could recreate the effects if we-"Delia blushed a little and cleared her throat.

Draco smiled as he looked at her "Oh how naughty of you Delia," Draco said as he walked up to Delia slowly. "Hmm won't this be fun my dear lady," Draco said teasingly into her ear gently. He nibbled on her neck gently. "Feel any vibrations my dear?" Draco asked slightly into her ear.

"What are you thinking Delia: Flare asked as he heard Draco's idea on finding the weak point. "Alright just hold on this might be a while" Flare said as he felt around and felt a crack. "Here we go" Flare said  as he kicked the rock and nothing happened. "Ok we are getting no where...what is your plan Delia"

"Draco, hold up. I'm coming to help. We'll need as many as we can to knock it down."

 

Jolt galloped over to Draco and assisted in the search for a weak point in the wall.

 

"We need to break out quickly before the heat smothers us all." Jolt gestured towards a rock with a crack in the middle. "I think I've found something. That rock has a large crack in it. Unless you find anything better,I'll settle on this."

Delia giggled as Draco nibbled her neck. "This is what I was thinking. If we be romantic the vibrations will come back and they might just knock the rock away."She said as she blushed a little. "let us all just relax for a minute and spend some time with each other."

"I'm not gonna ask how that even works" Flare thought as he sat down. "M-maybe she's right..." Flare said quietly as he got up and sat next to Melody. "I dont care if this idea is crazy or not...just as long as I get to spend time with Melody" Flare said smiling at Melody.

"Sounds nice," Draco said as he massaged Delia's shoulders gently. He nuzzled her neck gently. He said "Well too bad there is no stars. Then that can be quite romantic," He smiled the kissed Delia passionately as he wrapped his wings around her. He sighed in contentment.

[What are they doing? Those ponies must be getting a bit light headed from the heat. But I can't feel a thing. This is weird. But seems as good a time as ever to do something I've been putting off.]

 

"Umm. Miss Pia. Can you come over here please? I might need your help on something."

 

[Damn it! Why am I playing so deceptive? That is not very trustworthy. What if I am rejected? Oh please she feels the same way.]

 

Jolt continued checking the wall of rock for weak points and began sweating. For once in his life his nerves were getting the better of him. His wing began twitching as nervousness set in.

Melody looked over at Flare. She was still submerged mostly under the water worried that she'd done something to upset him. It was only after seeing his smile that it reassured her that everything was alright. Melody poked her head out of the water and swam over to Flare nuzzling him under his chin. "Y...you really want to spend time with me Flare?"

"Of course I want to spend time with you" Flare said blushing a bit. "Besides...I love you" Flare said as he kissed Melody for a short bit. "The question is, do you love me" Flare asked grinning a bit as he kissed Melody. "Im so getting slapped after this" Flare thought.

Melody's eyes widened when she heard Flare tell her he loved her. Melody didn't shy away when Flare kissed her though. The words hit her deep within her heart, tears forming in her eyes. Melody hugged Flare tightly once they broke the kiss, tears running down her cheeks. "Flare I do...I love you too. Noponies ever told me that they loved me....thank you so much." Melody's heart was singing its own song inside her while she held onto Flare, she never wanted to leave his side at that moment.

"Then you never somepony who cares about others" Flare said smiling as he hugged Melody. "Nopony ever loved me either..." Flare said as the rocks at the entrance that was blocked started to collapse. "Maybe Delia is right maybe love can get us out of here" Flare said.

Melody looked at Flare and then over to the cave in, she turned back to Flare and gave a gentle smile. "Well as long as I'm with you Flare that's all that matters." Melody nuzzled under Flare's chin, her tail flipped up and rested on his back. She was enjoying every moment of this. In her heart she almost wanted it to stay this way but she knew it would be bad for everypony else. Melody began to wonder as well if what Delia had said was true.

As the two carried on with their romancing a big rumble started to be felt. Debris was dropping from the ceiling of the grotto and the rocks blocking the only way out began to loosen a tiny bit.

"I always keep them nice and clean my dear lady. Plus these wings will only encircle you if you want them too," Draco said huskily into her ear nibbling on her ear gently. He smiled slightly with an amorous look in his eyes. He chuckled as he rubbed her back with gentle whooves.

Flares ears perked up. "Did anyone hear anything at all" Flare said looking at the cave in. "Great im getting paranoid...after all if it's anything dangerous it wouldnt make that quiet of a noise would it" Flare said to him self as his vision felt dizzy. "The heat is getting to me...any longer in this grotto could be dangerous.

Pia's face flushed when she heard Jolt say her name. Hopefully he'll think it's just the heat in here. She trotted over to where Jolt stood, unaware of everything around her, she couldn't help but notice that he was just as nervous as she was.
