Delia got up and walked outside the tent. "Let us continue our journey." She said as she made her way outside.

Delia caught up with Melody and Flare. "Sorry if im disturbing anything...private but-" Delia was cut off as a green slime covered her body. 

 

A mysterious figure appeared from a green shroud and took Delia away. It laughed and disappeared in the mist.

Melody watched Flare land in front of her. Her mane blowing in the wind created by Flare landing so quickly. "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. As far as that village goes we should go back and see if everyponies awake and ready to go." Melody turned to head back towards the cave but stopped and turned back around. "Um....here Flare I picked this for you it's a Solar Flower. They're really rare they only grow in certain parts of Equestria." Melody extended her hoof handing Flare the flower.

"Delia.. damn it," Draco said as he looked for her. He looked around. "Any pony else see that pony that took her?" Draco asked as he looked at the ponies. His teeth gritted as his anger rose. He snorted as his feathers ruffled. Oh he was angry alright he was absolutely livid.

"What the...? Miss. Delia!" Her disappearance brought his mind back to reality harshly. "This is not good. Everyone stay together, no splitting away from the group. Wake those who are asleep."

 

Jolt galloped towards Pia and place a hoof on her and rocked her slightly.

 

"Miss. Pia. It's time to get up." Jolt said quietly.

 

[i think it's safe to say that shizz has gone down.]

"Wha- what?" Pia blinked dizzily as she once again began to focus on reality. She had been awoken by Jolt, but it wasn't the gentle good morning she had been expecting. 

 

In fact something seemed off. Everyone around her was panicking. Draco looked incredibly angry and she didn't see Delia anywhere. 

She stood up quickly after taking in her surrounding and huddled close to Jolt. 

 

"What happened? What's going on?"

Jolt wrapped a wing around Pia and took a breath.

 

"Delia has gone missing. No, she's been taken. A figure appeared out of a strange mist and took her away. You can figure out from there why Draco is so angry."

 

Jolt clung tight to Pia. He was scared that she would be next.

 

[i don't know who they are or what they're doing but I will find them and reach an agreement with them.]

"When I find them I'll show them what it means to mess with this courier pony," Draco said as he sliced a nearby rock with his large wing. His eyes showed the fires of rage with in him. "I'll find them then I'll mount their bucking heads on my wall," Draco said loudly as he started to pace.

Delia awoke in a strange cave unable to move. She found herself in a green colored cocoon She struggled as much as she could but she could not get free. The figure appeared before her. "You are the leader...strong and full of love. How delicious, i shall have fun toying with your friends." The figure said as the green cocoon began glowing. It was sucking the energy from Delia.

 

 Meanwhile another strange mist appeared before the cave entrance. A unicorn with a black coat and grey mane appeared and immediately put up a magical barrier. The unicorn trotted around looking for some pony from the group. "Hello? Is the group still here?" The unicorn called out.

Pia clung tightly to Jolt, fearful of what might happen next. She felt safe in Jolt's embrace, but how safe could she really be if Delia had disappeared. She knew Draco and she knew he wouldn't have let anything happen to Delia willingly; this was a power beyond their control. 

 

Her fear only increased when she heard a new and strange voice in the caves. 

 

"Why did I agree to do this?" her voice was quivering "What's going to happen to us?"

Draco snapped his head towards the voice and asked alittle harshly "And you are?" he looked at the unicorn with the black fur. His silver eyes as he posed his wings to strike. He was channeling his innate magic through his wings to make them as sharp as swords.

"Easy there Red I'm on your side. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Apollo." The Unicorn said with intimidation in his voice. He strengthened his magical shield as he continued. "I told you to abandon this 'quest' of yours. You didn't listen,so i have to intervene directly. Now wheres your leader?"

"She was taken if I had to guess by what. Well a changeling. But when I find that changeling I'll kill it," Draco said with his voice cold his eyes glaring at the stallion not backing down. This stallion was going to be in his way oh how he would not listen to this new comer.

"I am too late then...the kingdom will be lost. It's all your fault! I gave you warnings to abandon this quest and you ignored them!" Apollo said as he grew angry. "Who gave you the order to pursue this!? What was their name!?" He demanded answers and his anger was affecting his magic by amplifying it.

Draco looked into Apollo's eyes "First you. And the guard didn't give his name which I found alittle odd. But hey it's my damn vacation might I remind you ponies," Draco said slightly at Apollo. "of course I wouldn't have met Delia if I didn't come along on this little adventure,"

Jolt grew tired of the arguing. He knew that now was a time to put his talent to use.

 

"Everypony calm down. Anger will only cause mistakes and mistakes are good for nothing. Draco, I know you're angry but being blinded by hate makes further actions impossible. Apollo, tell us why the kingdom is apparently going to be lost. If everypony remains cool and collected, we can actually do something."

"At least i met Delia, what a nub!" Apollo said mocking Draco. "This Delia,the leader, could be dead by now."

Apollo then flipped his mane at Draco and answered the other pony.

"Oh another one. How annoying it is that you think i will reveal royal plans to possible accessories to a crime."Apollo said with much intimidation.

Draco walked towards the stallion with hatred in his silver eyes. He began to laugh slightly as he walked towards the stallion pissed off. he slashed the shield with his wing. This insolent little son of a mule was getting in his way of rescuing his beloved. "You think your better hmm. Arrogance,"

"Draco, back off." Jolt said sternly. He then turned to Apollo. "Well I guess you leave us with a choice. Tell us what you're hiding and give us a chance to save the empire or continue playing the secretive game and guarantee its downfall. I don't know what crime your on about but by withholding information, the enemy keeps moving ahead."

Melody stood in shock the whole thing with Delia happened just a few feet from her. Now everypony was arguing and bickering with each other. Melody couldn't stand it, their leader was gone and everything was in shambles now. Melody felt tears rolling down her cheeks at the fact that she didn't do anything to save Delia but that would change. Melody quickly wiped the tears away regaining her composure, she then stomped her hooves on the ground "Everypony SHUT UP!" Melody used her beautiful singing voice to try and get everyponies attention. "Listen you're all ignoring one thing and it's that Delia's been kidnapped. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm going to go find her, and rescue her. We need our leader back and I for one am not going to stand here arguing." Melody huffed as she started to head deeper into the forest.

"Melody, wait. Rushing off will only get you killed. Apollo here knows something and if he tells, the whole thing will be easier for everyone." Jolt then said to Apollo, "That information could be more important than you think. Tell us. For Delia, for the Empire and for the whole of Equestria, tell us."

Melody stopped mid track and grit her teeth. This was very different from the way she normally acted, she only got like this about things she really cared about. Melody whipped around, glaring at Apollo for a moment and then looked back at Jolt. "He's not going to tell us Jolt he's to smug and arrogant. Besides we don't have time to waste, we need to save Delia. If it was a changeling then they should have a hive close by to keep her." Melody let out a low sigh, turning back around. "I'm sorry Jolt but Delia's my friend and I'm not going to sit by and let some changelings feed off her love. If you wish to stop me then go ahead." Melody started to walk, wondering if anypony else would follow.

Flare glared at Apollo. "You know I hate people like you and you know be glad I cant hurt you or kill you cause so far that is just what I want to do" Flare growled as he turned around and noticed Melody heading into the forest. "Mel wait up" Flare said as he followed behind Melody. "Apollo.....I don't care what you are I swear if I see you I will make you experience pain beyond what you will regularly feel" Flare thought feeling angry and annoyed.

"Alright spare me the theatrics you pitiful group of gutter crawling curs!" Apollo yelled as he shook his head. "You want information but what have you done to show me that you are worthy of such things?" Apollo looked at the pony referred to as Flare. "You think you could kill me? By Celestia's beard you are dense."

Flare stopped as soon as he heard what Apollo said. "No I don't think I could kill you I don't kill I thin I can hurt you severely" Flare said sarcastically. "You know we kept on this mission for a reason and so far you are just a big thorn in my side" Flare said as he glared at Apollo the turned around. "Now how about you shut up and leave" Flare said  he walked up to Apollo standing almost a bit higher then Apollo.

"You are even more dense then i had thought.I apologize, i didn't realize i would be dealing with a group of dolts who think they are on an important mission." Apollo said in a judgmental tone. He noticed Flare standing tall in front of him. "You're right, i should leave. Then you can die just like the other one probably has. Delia i believe her name was."
