Jolt decided to address the group.

 

"If any of you want to go, do so. It's fine by me. I'll be staying here with Apollo to see if I can get the info."

"So Apollo. I believe that the thing we've done to earn this info is get off our flanks and try to something. I don't know if it's just me, but that sounds like the only reason you need."

Apollo shook his head and sighed. "Fine, I will share with you the situation. Just know that the only reason i'm sharing this with you is so that i can see you all fail." He said with much hostility in his voice. "As you know the crystal heart was stolen. We figure its Queen Chrysalis taking advantage of a dire situation. Now, we know that she can't necessarily touch the thing due to the magic barrier put on it." Apollo said as he drew shapes into the snow. "We know that the crystal heart is on this mountain. You're fooling around has been activating it so thats one thing you did right. However, If our theory is correct you and your incompetent leader have been giving strength to that insidious parasite."

Melody watched as Flare trotted up next to her. She was furious at that Apollo, she couldn't believe that it was he who wanted to just forget about Delia. Melody couldn't accept that fact, that Delia was already dead. "I'm sorry Flare I normally don't get like that. It's not something I let happen very often." Melody looked away from Flare partially disgusted with how she handled the situation, but also that she wasn't able to do anything for Delia.

"I dont blame you Mel I kinda let my anger get ahead of me and I threatened to hurt that pony" Flare said still upset after what he said. "Let's just hope he doesn't keep a grudge...cant believe he said things like that though" Flare said as he calmed down finally. "I'm just glad you didn't hear me"

Melody looked over at Flare and smiled. "I know Flare I can't believe he said those things. I just hope we can find Delia before it's to late." Melody started to tear up a bit at the thought of loosing Delia. Quickly she whipped her tears away. "Did you happen to see anything when you were flying around earlier Flare?" Melody wasn't sure where to start looking but she was certain that if Chrysilis had taken Delia she would be close by with a small army of changelings no doubt.

"Yeah I found a small town at the end of the mountain but other then that I didn't see any changeling hive at all I can look again if you want me to" Flare said as he remembered the town. "Melody...if Chrysalis did take Delia...she made a big mistake cause she messed with the wrong ponies" Flare said.

Melody thought about the small town it would make sense that they would have to hide a small hive around. Only the princesses had the power to teleport across Equestria, that she was sure of. "Flare can you take me there I think they might be using that town as a cover. We'll just need to find a way to locate the hive." Melody's mind went back to that of Delia, concern obvious in her face. She didn't want to loose one of her new friends so fast, and she wasn't about to let them have her without a fight. "I agree with you Flare they messed with the wrong ponies." Melody stomped her hoof.

Apollo simply laughed at the Pegasus. "Who are you trying to impress? Also, do you have any evidence that there was another entity involved? Or are you just pulling stuff from your arse to make yourself look well informed?" He said knowing that Draco couldn't touch him even if he was an Alicorn.

"Alright lets go then" Flare said as he placed Melody on his back. "Hold on tight Mel" Flare said as he took off into the air and headed towards the village. "It should be right around here" Flare said as he found the small town. "Here it is" FLare said as he landed in the village

Apollo made a sound that sounded condescending. "Hey, how wonderful for you. Too bad I don't care. I also don't care what you think of my attitude, for if you knew what it took to keep an empire safe you too wouldn't be a nice pony." He said as he broadened his stance. He then looked around and made various calculations on the snow.

 

(OOC: kinda wished you asked me first before deciding to put a village on the mountain.)

Melody hopped off of Flare's back once she landed, she took a look at the village and could tell quickly that it was deserted. "Flare I don't like the feel of this place." Melody didn't like the vibe, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to look around. Melody took a look around the town only catching the sound of the wind as it whistled through. Melody peeked her head into a nearby window and could see something inside the house. "Hey Flare, come take a look at this."

Flare got to where Melody was and looked inside and he saw what looked like some weird green slime. "We should head on back and tell Draco about this...maybe Apollo has left by now" Flare said as he cringed when he said that name. "If he is still there lets hope he has a better attiude.

"Pia and Jolt we're going to the town now please get up," Draco said as he started to walk away from the grotto. The two ponies should come back now. He began to paced slightly thinking their next move. That damn pony there thinking he was some hot shot. He breathed in then out as he cooled his anger just enough to think.

"That guy really had some nerve to come here and try to intimidate us like that!" Pia could feel her anger begin to rise. She composed herself before it was able to get the best of her.

 

"I'm very sorry about Delia, Draco. What do you suppose our first step should be to find her? I don't know how far this group will make it without her."

 

Pia stayed close to Jolt, there was too much going on to try and be a hero right now. She was brave but she wasn't stupid, she was going to stay with someone at all times.

"First we wait till those two return then see about their report. Then we ourselves are going to that town to see if we can help those ponies that reside there," Draco said and then said once more "No pony get's left behind.  Plus we might be able to interrogate one of the changelings,"

Apollo laughed as he made his final calculations. "You guys are tenacious I'll give you that much." He said as he got up. "But i digress, If King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis ARE in fact behind this then its safe to assume that they wont be leaving any survivors. The Queen has gotten more malicious since we as an empire encountered her. Its safe to presume that she kidnapped your Delia and sucked her dry and discarded her corpse."Apollo said as he walked away from the remainder of the group. He then teleported several feet ahead and dug at the ground.

"Asshole. Jolt remind me when we find him to cut his horn off and sodomize him with it. Then mount his head above my fire place. Thanks And if you and the lovely Pia here ever need a place to stay my manor at Ponyville in welcome to you. I'll need to key you in on the enchantments though," he said.

Melody could see some sort of green liquid inside the house. Melody wasn't sure what to think or do at the moment, but she knew something had to be done. With a disgruntled look on her face she relented her curiosity. "You're right Flare let's get back with the others and inform them of what we found." Melody backed away from the house and waited to go into the sky with Flare.

"Alright let's go" Flare said as he picked Melody up and flew back up the mountain and landed in front of Draco. "We...found something interesting...in one of the houses down at the small village at the bottom of the mountain" Flare said as he put Melody down on the ground.

Apollo watched as the group ignored him and his words. "Pathetic." He said looking up at the sky.

 

A green mist appeared before the group and out stepped Delia. "I am back. Now let us get that crystal heart and fulfill the mission." She said with an echo in her voice.

"Delia...what is with the mist and are you ok" Flare asked a bit suspicious of how Delia arrived. "Plus what was with the echo in her voice" Flare thought as Delia seemed different. "Anyways excuse me" Flare said walking up to Apollo. "Listen sorry about before but you know I kinda think you should be a bit nicer and people won't talk to you like that and treat you like a jerk...also our leader is here now" Flare said to Apollo

Draco narrowed his eyes as he walked towards this Delia slowly his wings out channeling his innate magic slowly. He was also suspicious he was there during that whole wedding fiasco. "Aye tell me beloved where is the heart then," Draco said as his wings sharpened slowly. He would play along oh yes he would until the perfect moment to strike.
