Delia awoke with sweat on her face. "Good morning, cuddle bunny." Delia said wiping her face. She then stretched and yawned.Delia scootched far enough to peer her head outside the tent. "Seems like only one of the others is up. Let's just cuddle until everyone wakes up."

"Sounds just about right for me my dear," Draco said as he stretched his wings out slightly. "Sometimes I hate having such large wings you know. they are a pain to clean sometimes. Oh well what can we do about it. So a bad dream my dear?" Draco asked at the last part, He looked into her eyes and smiled slightly

"Maybe i should return the massage you gave me by washing you....no wait! i mean your wings!" Delia said as she blushed a little. She quickly collected herself and responded to Draco's question. "I feel like i can share with you this information. I did indeed have a bad dream, though it was more like a warning."Delia said.

Draco chuckled "How flustered you are my zebra princess. Anyhow a warning? Heh I get those all the time. For instance in one zebra tribe I went to I helped their chief's daughter by negotiating a peaceful solution to their war. The daughter get's to marry the one she loves and the son get's to be with the colt of his dreams. Me I got a new trade contract out of both tribes. What to keep my business alive I need trade contracts and contacts,"

A trickle of sunlight reached Jolt's face, waking him from his slumber.

 

"Hnn. Ah..." Jolt said as he awoke. "Good morning everyone! Did you all sleep alright?"

 

Jolt still had his wings around Pia and he carefully removed them, trying not to wake her. When Jolt had freed himself, he walked over to Draco and Delia.

 

"Soooo. How you two love-birds doing? Warm air got to you did it?" Jolt said with a smirk.

Melody woke up and stretched out her legs, realizing Flare wasn't in the tent with her she headed out. Melody saw Flare standing just outside the tent looking around. Melody trotted up to Flare and nuzzled up against him. "Thank you for letting me stay with you Flare. You know how to make a girl feel safe." Melody smiled, her cheeks heating up. The view of the grotto in the morning light was beautiful, Melody would be content just being in this moment with Flare forever.

"It was my pleasure Melody" Flare said as he smiled but quickly fadded. "Somepony doesn't want any of us to be in love for some reason...and that kinda bothers me, I mean why would some pony go that far all be cause of that" Flare said a bit confused on what happened last night.

Melody looked at Flare, a concerned look on her face. "I don't know who'd want to do this to us." Melody looked around hoping to see some of the others come out and join them. "Who ever it is, they seem to be afraid of the love we have for each other. So as long as we are together we should be ok....hopefully." Melody put a smile on her face. In reality Melody was terrified of loosing Flare she had just fallen in love and didn't want to loose it so soon.

Delia was too focused on the dream she had to pay attention.  Though she did hear Draco call her a zebra princess. "I see, well you are quite the charmer if i must say so." Delia said as Jolt walked in.

"Well what ever it is I'm gonna sure that pony pays..." Flare said as he was a bit annoyed for what that pony did. "At least we can get out of there but at least I got you here with me Mel" Flare said as he put a wing around her. "Let's hope nothing happens to any of us" Flare said

Draco smiled and said with a teasing tone "Of course Jolt all night long," He laughed with good humor. "ha that was a good laugh. I needed it. So serious all the time never good for my complexion you know. Now I know what  just said but I o like to look quite handsome,"

Melody blushed hearing Flare call her Mel. It was her first ever nick name and she loved it very much. "I know you'll protect me no matter what Flare. And don't worry I won't let anything bad happen to you either." Melody nuzzled up against Flare nipping at his mane playfully. Melody was trying to keep the mood as cheerful as possible. It wouldn't help matters to keep a worried mind at all times.

"You know I will always protect you Mel" Flare said as he kissed Melody. "Let's hope we can get the Crystal Heart back soon" Flare said as he kept Melody close to him. "She cant know how worried I am about her...plus how angry I am at that one pony for trapping us in there with a cave it"

Melody felt her heart skip a beat when Flare kissed her. Melody's legs shook, her legs felt like they were going to melt right from under her. Melody sat down after they broke their kiss. She didn't want to just fall to the ground cause of his amazing kissing prowess. Melody looked around and could see that Jolt was inside Draco and Delia's tent. It only made her chuckle thinking to last night how both of them acted around each other. I wonder when everyponies going to get up and get going? We're wasting daylight just sitting around.

"Are you ok Mel" Flare said as he looked and saw Jolt head into Draco's and Delia's. "Hm whats taking everypony so long to get out of their tents.....probably still asleep" Flare thought as he looked of to the distance. "Can't believe how far we traveled form the empire" Flare said

Melody looked back at Flare, half lost in her mind of the kiss she got and the other half scrambling to figure out what was going on in this cave. "Huh...oh yeah I'm fine just...uh...never gotten a kiss that...um...good." Melody whispered shyly. Melody was getting more comfortable around Flare but she still had a hard time with everypony around. Melody continued to wonder, she was ready to go and see more new and exciting things.

Flare blushed as he heard Melody say that. "Oh uh...t-thanks" Flare said blushing. He also was finally getting comfortable with Melody. "I wonder if we should scout ahead since its day time and there shouldn't be any problems up ahead...I hope" Flare said as he walked further outside.

Melody blushed at Flare's suggestion. "I...I'd like that Flare. Kinda like going out together." Melody chuckled giving Flare a kiss on the cheek. "Let's just not try to both black out this time." Melody giggled standing up. She started towards the entrance of the cave, she was so excited. Melody felt like a little high school filly again on her first date.

"Yes let's get going" Flare said as he followed behind Melody. "Don't worry we wont black out cause its not snowing and its not cold and we can easily breath and....im rambling again am I" Flare said as he felt dumb as he tried to not ramble on about stuff. "Sorry about that Mel"

Melody giggled as she listened to Flare ramble on while she let him catch up to her. "Aw don't apologize Flare I like it when you ramble. It makes you all cute when you get flustered by it." Melody smiled nuzzling against Flare as they stepped outside. The warm air felt good for Melody's lungs. Still recovering from her cold, it along with the hot springs had done wonders for her. She would have to make sure she thanked Delia later. Melody felt the sun hit her coat and warm her body quickly...well that and being with Flare helped even more.

Flare blushed. "R-really..." Flare said as he stretched out his wings and felt the warmth of the sun on them. "It feels great to not be in a snowy place or be inside a cave...im tempted to fly to tell the truth but I dont wanna leave you Mel" Flare said as he closed his wings again.

Melody smiled warmly at Flare. Melody could tell he was itching to get into the sky after all he was a peasus. "It's ok Flare I don't mind. You should stretch out your wings anyway, besides as long as we are withing eyesight we should be able to keep the other safe." Melody smiled giving Flare a nudge, letting him know that she was ok with him flying around. "We'll also be able to cover more ground this way."

 

(ok going to bed must sleep for work tomorrow says caveman.)

"Really Mel...ok" Flare said as he jumped from the mountain and opened his wings making him fly upwards. "This feels so awesome it feels great to fly again after so long" Flare said as he saw a village at the end of the mountain, :Huh...I should tell Melody about this"

Melody watched as Flare took to the sky. Melody had a warm smile on her face, happy to see Flare enjoying himself so much. Melody took this time to walk around the forest just a bit. She ended up finding a solar flower, Melody plucked it from the base of the tree. It's thin peddles went from it's red center. Each peddle going from orange at the base to a yellow tip. I think this is perfect for Flare. Now if only he'd come down for just a second. Melody chuckled. She knew getting a pegasus out of the air was like trying to take magic away from a unicorn.

Flare landed on the grounds and closed his wings. "That has got to be the best flight I had ever done since this adventure" Flare said as he walked up to Melody. "Mel while I was flying I found a village at the end of the mountain lets make sure everpony s awake before we continue on" Flare said
