I'm actually going to post tonight! I'm really sorry about not being good with posting my puppet show. I'm going to be completely honest as to why I haven't.

A. School work.

B. I bought Skyrim on Monday.

C. I'm on spring break, with a new copy of Skyrim.

 

So I'm apologising for being really distracted. The new post will be up in a few minutes.



It's finally posted. Please critique it. I'd like to fix whatever grammar problems there are, what I should work on, etc. And don't hold back either.

I'm glad you liked the story. The story has been really annoying over the past few months. And with the skyrim bit, I was tired of rehashing the same lame excuses that I normally use. So I decided to be honest. I admit. I was distracted by dwarven automatons, bandits, Forsworn, and of course, sweetrolls.

1.) Does anypony know how this is going to tie up? It seems to me that we have two different story-lines going; Pinoak and Kismet - and - everypony else. I don't want anypony to feel out of the story so I just want to make sure that there is a way to include everypony.   **Sorry about the overflow of "pony" references**    2.) Also, where is the map/instructions/riddle/scroll going to take us? Will there be danger? Is there another evil band of ponies who (for some reason) also have interest in puppeteering? Maybe the journey is more fun than the destination....

 

Honestly, I have no idea how this is going to tie up. I'm hoping things get a bit more cohesive during the day of the carnival, because I honestly did a horrible job at planning this. For some reason, I find it more difficult to DM a forums RP than DMing an actual game of DnD. XD I'll see what I can do to weave everyone in.

 

as for the second part, we could actually start a branching RP in another thread to follow the puppeteering pilgrimage, if it doesn't work into the plot of the festivities. That would be interesting, hm?

 

Oh, and I figure I should mention... I feel like you and LeJAK would make really good DMs. Maybe one of you could take over the planning for that, If you would like. Or both, if you feel like getting unorthodox.

And to get everyone together, we can have everypony kind of meet at the bar. Pinoak and Kismet can get Gale involved with a potential cutie mark, Dusk finds Standoff with the watch at the bar or something, cause a little ruckus to get Judith involved, and they over hear our conversation about the treasure and Kismet's vision, and because of the possible threat, they get involved too.

Love*: I also figured you didn't mean alcohol, but in Gale's case, it doesn't really matter. Gale almost never eats or drinks...

There, that should clear up any confusion. I was using all the attributes of a typical noob-mode Gary Stu OC.

 

Don't forget that they are in a relationship with the most powerful main character and everypony loves him.

Yes... I know what a Mary sue/Gary stu is... I've rped with plenty enough of them. 10 year old time traveling lupine werefillies who keep the entire multiverse safe from evil forces who are trying to both destroy all matter and stop time in an intergalactic war while keeping the entire operation secret somehow even though they tell every person they meet exactly what's going on. To name one. Not to mention that they rewrite *my* characters background in the process... yeah, I have some experience. Partly why I made this rp...

Hmmm... Nope. Haven't guessed what Gale is yet. This is interesting though. Is it a secret? A surprise? Now I am curious. Hopefully the story will unfold the answers wink.png
