 Standoff had finished his reconnaissance run. He went back to his nondescript, small house and wrote two words on the letter he'd gotten.

 

No deal.

 

After return-to-sendering the letter, Standoff went back to the market to get some food. Not looking where he was going, he crashed into a guard. He recognised that guard. Not stooping to say anything, he bolted past him, passing an open-air cafe with some ponies deep in discussion, the guard in hot pursuit. Standoff leaped out and grabbed a pole, spun around, landed on a table and tore the other way.

This is what I assumed from the post. I only became confused when the two realities were coming into play. I thought that Standoff kept running, but then somepony else said that he stayed on the table. 

 

I definitely agree that we should do a rewind, but let's have somepony post exactly what is going on, with all of the characters, so that everypony is clear on what is going on. If the pony who posts the summary happens to get a detail incorrect, the reviewer is free to explain what he/she was trying to do, so that way everypony is on the same page.

Well, it appears that I was the one who derped and created the second reality, I sincerely apologize. In my defense, I have no defense. 

 

Standoff has disappeared down the road. Gale's reaction is no different, really. I'm going to go on a reasonable guess and say that Kismet's reaction wouldn't change, (considering that's the reality you were in in the first place), Dusk's reaction is probably the same, (since it works in either reality), and only Pinoak's reaction is really in need of adjusting.

 

Sorry Pinoak, but you'll have to edit your post, I believe. That's just how things work out. On the bright side, your Churro is still delicious  and totally edible!

Ok the thing with standoff is cleared up, but what about the pony that somehow figures out I'm stalking you, to be honest I don't really think that would work cuz were all in earshot of eachother and then the three at the table will find out about what i've been doing. Then Judith will be getting screwed over with lashing out at her due to the stalking.

It says in the ooc page that she is supposed to act as a low profile guard and to keep watch until the first sight of trouble.  Just noticing me as easy as you did doesn't make any sense. If a pony just landed on the table and ran off, why would your first reaction be to ask if Judith was having fun?

Sorry, I'll go and fix it in a little while. My justification for pulling the table was a little self defense. Pinoak's a traveler and I imagine that sometimes some not so nice ponies would go after him. But in this scenario, I understand and I'll fix it.

Well, I totally understand why you yanked away the table. But everyone is going with the story where he stepped on the table and kept going. Doesn't make sense to yank away a table with no pony on it. XD

This doesn't fix the fact that a random pony is blowing my cover. I will probably go after him but I'm not sure yet. I'm mostly concerned that someone recognizes me stalking you. This doesn't make any sense since I'm undercover and has a low profile. If someone blows my cover this early in the rp I dnt think this will go well continuity wise.

I have to agree with symphonia, but I also don't want to exclude Dusk from the rp. Perhaps Dusk has found some other reason to talk to Judith?perhaps asking her about where standoff had gone? Would that work?

I guess that could work. I'm starting to see that dusk doesn't really fit in this rp. Maybe it was a bad pick on my part.

Eh, I was the one who flipped the coin and said dusk. Eitheer way, it's not too late to switch. Just pick up with what witch doctor is doing somewhere else and let dusk fade into the background.

It was fun RPing with you. It was a great experience and it helped me develop my character more. You did a great job for your first time RP. Keep doing what you were doing.

 

I think the problem was having everypony split off into various directions and then trying to get them brought together, which is what started the death of the RP.

 

If you want to RP with me again, just give me a holler and we can go from their.

I feel like I should take the blame for this. I chose perhaps the worst time ever to start it, blissfilly unaware that life had already kinda smacked me across the face with things to. Thanks for your time, and I hope it was worth it.
