Sure thing It's a foal adventure with the CMC, so teens will be relegated to either 'bullying jerk', 'stuffy parent' or 'cool mentor' NPC roles for the time being.

 

Heh, though the dragon characters are allowed a little more leeway with their age, the draconic 'teens' starting at 30 years+

That makes me think of something; We probably shouldn't have more than one dragon in the party, for several reasons. First of all, like we already discussed, a dragon normally wouldn't have any reason to be in the CMC, so it's highly unlikely there would be more than one, especially since dragons are rare to begin with. Second of all, from what I've read dragons work differently and our more difficult to play, as well as to DM for, so I think it would be best not to have too many. Third of all, you don't want the risk of multiple dragons being taken over by greed at the same time, and besides, two dragons in the group would probably be at odds with each other a lot because they both have hoarding instincts, and that would likely bog down the roleplay a lot and just be frustrating (I'm speaking from experience as well as logic on this because I've seen it with my dogs).

 

Having said that, everything I've thought up for my character so far revolves around them being a dragon. I don't mean to sound selfish, but I would really prefer if I was the only one.

Please be prepared to get greed growthed though, that's too much of a Fun mechanic to be ignored.

I agree, although the way the rules are written seem to imply that it shouldn't happen more than maybe a few times to an individual dragon. But whatever you want to do is fine with me; I'm building my character around being able to manage it.

Good Don't worry too hard though, it's a lighthearted adventure at first, so you won't kill anyone or injure them... much.

Oh, I'm not worried about that. I plan on making sure there's no way I should ever be able to reach stage three, so the worst that can happen is that I take people's stuff.

I said no way I should ever reach stage three. That doesn't mean it couldn't happen if things get out of hand or the DM decides to deliberately force me into it.

Two things: First of all, could you perhaps give me a list of all the people who have joined this as players? I'm kind of confused as to who is actually going to play. Second of all, I just wanted to remind you to add me on skype, mostly just because it's more efficient to talk to you that way.

I don't know how far along you are with making a character, but my idea was that my character (a dragon) would be sort of a bodyguard for one of the others, possibly developing a puppy-love romance with them eventually. Would you be interested in doing that? Meaning, in my character being your bodyguard who may or may not have a crush on you? Oh, and in regards to possible romance, I should mention that my character is male, although I might switch to female if that works out better for the group dynamic or whatever.

I don't have a name either, but I'm probably going to go with something nordic, because it seems appropriate for a dragon.

Well that depends on how fast we can gather players, but we need to start it soon, otherwise everyone will begin to lose interest

 

I'd prefer to have 5 players for a standard group, So call it.. 2 more players and we can begin building characters in earnest, if a week from now we have nt got any more, we'll try for one, the week after and we'll just go for it with however many we have

 

I don't want to wait that long after all

Yeah, I was under the assumption that it just sort of died and everyone either forgot about it or stopped caring. I would still be up for it if it were going to happen, though.
