I've been thinking about this for a long time.. A glorious adventure of mystery and intrigue.

Changelings are fearsome, they fly with droning buzz and wield ferocious fangs. But even they have predators: Nifoloa: giant, cicada/beetle hybrids hailing from regions far beyond the Arctic North, with an affinity for flames, the king has a potent poison injected via a barbed tongue.

 

The changelings have been spurned from their burning hives, having no choice but to turn to the ponies for assistance, squadrons of the shapeshifters arrive in all settlements to plead for help. The Changeling refugees are generally frowned upon by citizens of Equestria, even though there a select few who have enough kindness in their hearts to welcome the shapeshifters into their homes temporarily.

 

A young Pegasus named Crossfire is one of these kind souls... But he didn't have as much of a choice with a queen at his doorstep. A Changeling Queen. A sudden change of events leads to revolution after revolution in Crossfire's life. He will travel far across the continent, meet new friends, and attempt to prevent a devastating crisis.

This is the foundation of the plot for this RP, I will now begin searching for members. Anyone interest can just post here with their character page in a URL and say so. Any romantic relationships between characters can be established here before the RP begins.

I think that sounds great. Perhaps a bit more planning as to what they do while begging would be good. Do they beg in changeling form? Why not just go the rest of their lives as changelings?
