Mane 6 High School Cliques *SUPER SHALLOW POST*

Sorry that I had to make this super shallow post, but its but gnawing at the back of my mind when one of my brony friends said this...

 

"I wonder what kind of ponies he mane six would've ended up with in high school, assuming that they didn't know each other back then (because they all met when Twilight first came around, which seemed to be during thier adult hood)"
 

So heres a simple question, fellow users. If the mane six were in high school, and didn't know each other, what categories (cliques) would they fall into?

 

Eh, I'm also writing a fanfic, so this would be helpful...

Twilight: Reclusive bookworm, spends all her time in the library

Rainbow Dash: Jocks

Pinkie Pie: The Party hard group. Would get a DUI before her 6 months are up, guaranteed.

Applejack: The Redneck group

Rarity: The fashion obsessed 'plastics' like the ones in Mean Girls.

Fluttershy: Straight up loner.

Here are my thoughts-

 

Twilight: Nerd/Geek (obviously)

Rarity: Prep (also for obvious reasons)

Pinkie Pie: Hipster (her crazy antics would probably start a trend or something)

Fluttershy: Outsider (she doesn't really like other ponies all that much

 

You know, I can NOT find a clique that Rainbow Dash and AJ could into. Like, with Dashie, I'd imagine she'd be something of a jock... but... she didn't get along with the other athletes in Flight School... um... I'm beat...

 

AJ, I dunno, there really isn't a "farmer" clique, is there?

Twilight: The nerd or "Hermione" of the school. 

Apple Jack: The hick or farmer type (there's a lot of those in my school).

Rainbow Dash: Jock, probably a runner.

Fluttershy: The quiet one that sits in the back of the class, doesn't really belong to a clique. 

Rarity: The typical prep, not the smartest but is pretty. 

Pinkie Pie: The class clown, most likely part of the theater clique.

Twilight Sparkle: The nerd. I can see her getting teased in school for being smarter than everyone. She'd be an honor roll student with straight A's, and an obvious teacher's pet. She'd probably be in a bunch of nerdy clubs.

 

Rarity: The in-crowd, or popular kids. Well, look at her. She gets plenty of attention from stallions in Ponyville, so it makes sense. She's the type who would have lots of friends, and all the guys would be after her.

 

Pinkie Pie: Cheerleader, definitely. She's as loud, peppy, energetic, and optimistic as it comes. She'd also fall into the class clown clique simply because of how silly she is. That, and the party animal.

 

Fluttershy: The quiet one. She's the type who would probably sit alone at lunch were it not for her friends. She's the one who gets teased and bullied a lot. So, she wouldn't have a clique, and if she did, it would be with others who are weak, timid, and picked on like she is, or in other words, the rejects. She COULD be something of a leader for the underdogs.

 

Rainbow Dash: The jock. She's more about athletics than academics. She'd probably be on the track team. I could also see her falling into the troublemaker category because of her mischievous nature. She'd be liable to get a few detentions for getting into fights, like when she tries to "Defend Fluttershy's honor.".

 

Applejack is the only one I have no idea. Being "redneck" isn't really enough of a clique in my opinion. I definitely see her as an above average student with great work ethic, and good behavior. She wouldn't be super popular, but she wouldn't be a total outcast either. She could be involved in certain clubs or athletics. I can also being a sort of defender for the ones who get bullied. She's pretty rough and tumble and she doesn't stand for nonsense after all.
