Dimitri was in a trance. He consciously heard Draco, but seemed like he couldn't respond. His mind was someplace else as the voice kept talking to Dimitri. "Look, there is Draco. Has he helped you like you have helped yourself? No, the power is irreplaceable and Immense. Just remember that Dimitri." the voice faded and Dimitri blinked his eyes several times.

 

"Draco?" Dimitri said slurred and disoriented as he stumbled around.

Acheron had finally found an abandoned shack of some sort. It was dilapidated, but still suitable enough to be in. Here he again refined his magic abilities, merging some with others as he created new spells to safely use the new ancient magic he had learned.

"Black magic will still be my main type..."

His mind sifted through the new information he had acquired also until he fell asleep... AGAIN.

"I'm up here my friend. I see you've been drinking again," Draco said with a joking tone. "Well I came to deliver something to you. From Fluttershy. A rare metal Mithril steel. I know she means the world to you Dimitri that's why I'm trying everything I can to find them all. I want you to trust me fully," Draco said. "I know where to go. I know it seems that we're not doing anything but if he just go out into this adventure without a clue where to go. Tell me Dimitri do you know where to go?" Draco asked at the end as he hovered. Draco pulled out a large amount of Mithril from his pack and landed infront of his friend. He also pulled out his note book and showed Fluttershy's signature on it.

 

"Mithril though it seems fragile is quite strong. That I think is what Fluttershy is Mithril. I mean no offence by this next statement.  You are like Obsidian glass. Your sharp but incredibly fragile am I correct in guessing my friend?"

Dimitri stared blankly at Draco. He shook his head and sighed. "I not know where to go." He looked down at the Mithril and then at Fluttershy's signature. He smiled and gave a little laugh. "Always thinking of me..." He stood himself upright and looked right back at Draco. "Only fragile when she is involved friend. Only when she is involved....." He said as he wiped his eyes and tried to sober himself up.

"Now stand up straight like the strong stallion you are," Draco said as he lifted off from the ground with a smile on his muzzle. "Now come on Dimitri I have a potion for you to sober up quickly. Plus I have supplies for us at my manor. I had to get the exact location for where the next artifact is," he said. "And Dimitri I apologize for what happened back in the temple. I was angry,"

Dimitri rolled his shoulders and stretched. He smacked himself across the face and gave a yell. He looked at Draco. "Apology accepted friend. Now let's get me sober. I still can't see very well..." He laughed as he slightly stumbled around while he tried to stand still. "Too much Sovestrian alcohol..."

Draco laughed slightly as he pulled out a potion from his bag "Lucky for us I thought ahead,". He handed the potion to his friend "It may taste disgusting but it'll quickly sober you up quickly. Ugh I use these when I drink too much cider," Draco said with a laugh.

Delia watched as Draco left. "OH look at the plot!"She yelled teasingly hoping he heard.

"I don't know how he can compliment my flank like he does but somehow he does it." Delia said out loud. She then smiled and blushed as she heard Diamonds words. "It would appear so my friend. We can keep each other company." Delia said with a seductive voice.

I know she will think im a weirdo but at least i can take some pride in knowing that i went for it. Delias thought to herself as she smiled

Dimitri took and swallow the potion. He winced, but then laughed. "Is tasting like old Sovestrian vodka. The stuff doesn't age well at all." He laughed again and sighed. "Now, while we go back to the manor....I'm guessing....is Diamond okay, and is Acheron with you?" Dimitri remembered most of what happened, and was worried about the group. He definitely changed his mind about his friends. He knew that his darker thoughts about them were created from the corrupted part of his mind and they weren't really his own.

 

"So...anything about them?"

Draco nodded "Acheron ran off after the tussle. Diamond is fine now. And no shit Sovestrian vodka doesn't age well found out the hard way after that prank you pulled on your wedding day. Found out my toilet's name is Tim(LOL). Anyhow the reason why she was sick was because of the excess magic with in the talisman that helped healed her. Her body had to get rid of it or else the next wound would feel like molten lead flowing through her veins. Not exactly a pleasant feeling hell I wouldn't want to go through with it but I have too sometimes," Draco said as he walked towards his manor with his friend. He paid for an apple pie. "For us to share my friend,"

Dimitri nodded. "I'd love to eat, but I'm little worried about Diamond and Acheron. Losing a team member is not good. We really need to find Acheron soon. In the name of Trotmir, who knows what he is doing..." He was a little worried about Acheron. Firstly because he missed a friend, but also because who knows what he could be doing. "And Diamond too. Her injuries still worry me. Especially what those...I mean...that Envy said."

"Yeah but he can take care of himself. Honestly I don't know when ever I think about her and Delia I feel like I'm flying without even lifting off. It's maddening you know," Draco said with a slight blush on his cheeks. "I hear my own heart pounding right in my ears when they are close by. I can't even compliment them clearly with out sounding like a perverted stallion. I heard what Delia said when I left to find you,"

"Can't have two of them friend. The soul is a single gift for a reason. The heart is a single gift for a reason. Can't even look at Fluttershy without wanting to break down and cry tears of joy knowing that she loves me. My knees quake when she is near me and hearing her voice makes me just want to hold her forever and never let her go." Dimitri looked at the sky and sighed. "We are much different I say. You're a little more....no offense...perverted...while I am utterly shy and just madly in love with my beloved. I just want to hold her. Is all I want to do for hours and hours. Caress her hair while she falls asleep. It's all I ever wanted in my life."

 

Dimitri let out a deep exhale. "Is hard to not have her here. Knowing she's in danger. You, my friend, need to make a clear decision. As I said: The heart is a single gift to give. You need to know exactly who to hand it to. Other than that though.....I still think we need to find Acheron."

Acheron woke up for the somethingmillionth time. He felt a constant nagging in his mind, even while he slept. It seemed as if he was hearing voices, conversations. Fragments of them sure, but he could still make the owners out. Dimitri and Draco.

"It's a lost cause now, to be back on good terms with that lot as well as regain whatever little trust they had... Hmph, what am I doing pitying myself? I've more important matters to think about, to me at least..."

 

Acheron manifested various large yet empty tomes. Producing several claws of shadow, Acheron began scrying in them, writing and sorting out the many secrets he had learned throughout his lifetime. History and magic, both known and forbidden, were scrawled within these volumes.

"I am my own library of course, but many of the volumes of knowledge I gathered are destroyed due to their curse of being usable only once. It would be a shame to have this much knowledge lost forever..."

 

Acheron quickly completed his books, black and mysterious (see what I did there xD?). He whispered a few words, and opening his pack again, stored the vast number of books within a dark void. Something fell put as he closed it though. The artifact from the temple, he had forgotten about it really.

Draco shook his head "I know I know but if they want to share. Who am I to deny them that. Acheron yes Acheron I saw his memories some how. I believe he's just afraid to let other's in for fear of being hurt again," Draco said. "There is one part of Loveless that I think describes you and I Dimitri,"

"Which part is that?" Dimitri questioned. He was still thinking about Acheron. He wanted to stop their previous bickering in the forest, but he was too enraged at the moment. Draco and Acheron both made mistakes, but mistakes can be forgiven. The past can be moved on from. If anyone knew that it was definitely Dimitri. All the death he witnessed, and caused....enough to really change one's mind for sure. This group, though seemingly dysfunctional, needed all the original members.

 

He shook his head and waited for Draco to answer.

Dimitri nodded. "Sounds right. Things I've been through were unimaginable and tormenting. I haven't even told you all of it. Only a very small amount." He sighed and looked at the sky too. "Tomorrow night I definitely need to be outside though. Make sure we don't go too far off because there's a celestial body that's passing through the sky tomorrow. I need to see it...."

 

He looked hard at the night sky. "Our comet. Fluttershy and I. Need to see it. Best place would be the desert to see it I've predicted. We need to be going, but as long as I see the night sky while we move it'll be okay."

"Of course will be going after I give you the supplies I packed for you my friend. Was it the comet you and her saw and proposed to her" Draco asked at the end of his sentence. He looked at his friend as they walked. He smiled albeit sadly. He envied Dimitri on that.

"Is a rare comet. The most amazing thing happened as well. Is only seen once a year normally, but I saw it twice. Saw it the first day I saw Fluttershy, and saw it again when I proposed. I consider it a good omen. My father always said things about the stars and the sky. Said a comet like that means a long, prosperous romance. Told me that when I two weeks old. I remember it so well."

 

He laughed. " We don't need to go completely out of the way for me to see it. I'm staying with the group, but I just need to be outside for sure so I see it."

"I think I understand what you mean with the comet. It's like a beacon for you two to see it. For you two to watch and enjoy it. Though the moment is fleeting. It's those moments we have that are precious to us am I right or am I guessing wrong?" Draco asked as he walked with Dimitri.

"Is correct. Like a sign from the heavens about our partnership. Knowing that she is looking for the comet too will bring much needed strength into my heart." Dimitri looked at the horizon. "I think I see the manor now. Should get ready. I would like to find the next clue, and preferably Acheron too...."

"A Seneschal Artifact," Acheron said as he levitated it. His black and green energy tendrils streamed from his horn as he studied it further, learning the appearance of its counterparts and the way each was forged.

"Forged by the strongest of them, each a key...."

Acheron questioned whether it was right for him to have split away from the group. It seemed silly to him now, how hurt he felt at the sting of Diamond's words.

"Interesting place that is," Acheron smirked as he remembered the Tartarus insult. He walked out of the shack and walked where the artifact led him. It seemed weaker now however, not strong as it did when the others were together with him...

"I can do this on my own.. I have endless arrays of knowledge at my disposal, I'll find a way..."

"Aye I have the clue in the poem form it's in the Apploosa desert not the most hospitable place you know," Draco said. "Hate flying over it though feels like I'm baking in the hot sun. Ugh I also hate how the nights are cold too. I think Delia would feel at home though she is from the Saddle Arabia area,"

"I dislike the desert. The heat is horrid. Being born in Sovestria....is always snowy and cold. Always completely freezing cold, or just below. I can't stand the heat....but at least is next place for next clue. Could Acheron be there? Wonder what he is doing. Hopefully not finding the artifacts though, because then I wouldn't be able to find my butterfly Fluttershy. I'd be a little.....pissed off...excuse the harsh language..."
