"Definitely. How about we meet tomorrow for lunch? Around noon at Sugarcube Corner sound good?" He walked over to the door, giving Button a peck on the lips as he stood in the doorway. He made a marefriend. Something he never thought would happen.

"Thank you wing sensitivity...and horn sensitivity." He thought with a grin.

The unicorn smiled happily, nodding. "Absolutely! Have a good night, Max." She closed the door, bringing her hooves to her mouth as she bit back a happy squeal. She had a coltfriend! And he accepted all of her, full stop. She couldn't possibly be happier, could she? Hmm... Nope!

As Max flew home, he couldn't help but feel great. He flew into his cottage through a window, nighttime already upon the town. Closing it behind him, he let out a triumphant laugh.

"That's what I'm talking about! You did it Max! You got a marefriend! And a wonderful, nice, and cute one at that! Yeeeeaaa-ha-haaaaaaa!" He leapt onto his bed, still grinning like an idiot. Eventually he managed to fall asleep, still smiling as he did.

Button was so at peace she almost slept in. But no, she got up as usual, completing a few projects for clients. She was excited to see Max again, and she couldn't stop smiling. She didn't decide to do anything special with her mane or tail, mostly since they were so hard to work with, and arrived at Sugarcube Corner as herself, braided and fluffy-tailed as usual. "I hope he doesn't mind this..." Button fidgeted a bit, scuffing the ground with her hooves.

Max awoke at 11AM with renewed vigor. He was excited to spend the day with his new marefriend. He jumped into the shower, cleansing himself thoroughly. He got out, swiped a brush through his mane and tail once, and slipped on his concierge coat and fedora. He wanted to look good.

"Hope I am not going overboard...Nah I'm sure its fine." He flew out his window, heading straight to Sugarcube Corner. He got there at 12:03 and saw Button standing out front. He landed down in front of her with a large grin.

"Hello love. Looking great today." He said in a corny manner.

"Am I doing it right? I have no idea how this dating thing works..."

"So, shall we head in?"

Love. The word makes Button smile brightly even as she sees him, nodding. "Thank you... You look good too. Let's go." She walked in with him, ordering a hot cocoa and a plain croissant for herself. "What will you have, Max?" She stayed close to him, liking the feeling of having him close to her.

Max noted the close proximity of his date, and wrapped a wing around her.

"I will have a dark coffee and a slice of apple pie." He said to the clerk. After getting their food, they paid and sat down outside. Max took a large sip of his drink before speaking.

"You have told me so much about yourself, yet you know little of me." Was all he could think he to say.

"That doesn't sound stuck up and pompous you idiot." He thought to himself.

Honey Jars woke up when her alarm went off at 7 in the morning. She was much too lazy, yet way too exited, to turn it off correctly. So she just hit it, carefully of course. She rolled out of bed merrily and got herself sorted completely before leaving near instantly and began to trot down the roads of Canterlot.

Equinox woke up at 8 am after hearing his alarm clock and hit it with magic making it break. "Bloody hell thought I could sleep in but my clock had to be so bucking loud" Equinox said as he got out of his bed and got his glasses on. After a few minutes of walking merrily Honey decided she should get some breakfast. She made a turn and headed to where she saw the coffee shop.

* Do I know where Equinox lives? I don't do I?? That's a bit upsetting of me not even knowing where he lives.* she thought as she walked along.
